Manci's Antique Club is a cool old spot with lots of interesting things all about the interior. They have bar seating, table seating and a pizza place named "Buster's Brick Oven" that is connected to them as well. Manci's serves some nice burgers and local seafood along with their new pizza business. The atmosphere at Manci's is like a nice dive bar and they also feature live music. The folks that own Callaghan's Irish Social Club in Mobile have taken over Manci's and it seems this classic business is well taken care of under the new owners. Overall this is a great neighborhood spot with a mix of dive bar ambiance and some upscale offerings mixed in from the pizza side. Outside of New Orleans it is rare to find a great spot with such a mix of great food options, live music and a local neighborhood crowd.

The food is sooo good! I got the garden salad with grilled mani with blue cheese vinagerette on the side and loved it!

Manci's Antique Club, the name might lead to some confusion as it isn't a typical club, rather an old bar and grill...but, it does have a ton of kitschy antique whiskey bottles that liquor distributors used to gift to commercial customers. It's located in a building that's around 85 years old, which is one of a few buildings in the immediate area that bear the Manci name. It's old and a bit worn, but clean. The service was very friendly and the food was pretty good, but not special...however, two of our party ordered burgers at the complete opposite spectrum of doneness and they chef was spot on. We judged the food as 3 1/2 stars, but with the quaintness, the ambience created by the honest friendliness...I gave it 4 stars. To me, Manci's is not a destination bar and grill. Mind you, we drove thirty miles to get there. However, if you're passing through or live in an adjacent town, it is most certainly worthy of a local visit, and I think you'll be glad you did. If I lived in town, I'd come back.

French Dip- AVOID IT

We come here pretty frequently and I usually get the burger or Reuben but tonight decided to try something new and got the French Dip. Bad call. It was made with lunch meat from a package and didn't taste good. I ate half because I was hungry. The rest went in the trash. Plus it took forever to get our food.

Southwest egg rolls

We stopped at Manci's for lunch while traveling through the area. It's a neat spot with a patio and tons of interesting decor lining the walls. The food overall was just okay. I got the chicken, bacon, ranch wrap which I think I would have been more pleased with if it hadn't come with the lettuce and tomatoes I asked to be left off. Otherwise the chicken was cooked really well and the fries were very tasty. My husband got the Reuben and said it wasn't bad but the crust was kind of burnt and it could've used a little more meat. We got southwest egg rolls as an appetizer and they were good. Super interesting drink menu as well. Would give it another shot but left kind of disappointed.

Definitely a family style at 4pm when we were there We were seated immediately then greeted by a nice & peppy server & she was very helpful with suggestions, her name was Alexis. I started with the coconut pina colada, it's so, so good!! We then ordered the deviled eggs, they were really good BUT let me tell you about the fried cornbread muffins!!! OMG, never have I ever tasted anything like it, just extremely good!! He got the gulf shrimp platter & said it was good I got the steak & shrimp, the steak was ok & the shrimp & fried potato salad was fanaminal! So yes, just go. They only gave me a fork, so I was really having to leverage some wrist power and hack repeatedly through the solid fish. Then in order to chew and swallow it I had to completely submerge it in tartar sauce. I liked the tartar sauce, though. It had a little something special in it. The rice was also something special. Dakota made a mojito and a pina colada that were absolutely as God intended. The place is a little dingy and sticky. I'll upload a few photos to that effect. Bird poop on chair. I do love sitting on the roofed deck by the water. It's relaxing. My wife: "They're only still business because they're by the water."

Buster's Brick Oven is the pizza side of Manci's Antique Club which is run like a separate business…read morewhile it also physically connected to Manci's. The atmosphere at Buster's Brick Oven seems more upscale than the more dive bar ambiance of Manci's. They offer more than just pizza here but pizza seems to be the featured item. I sampled a Margherita pizza at Buster's Brick Oven and honestly it wasn't my favorite version of that particular pizza but it was alright. I also tried their Bison Burger which I ordered medium and it arrived with charred, burned and very crunchy meat on the outside but better on the inside with a side of charred and burned green beans... I will be sticking with the food on the Manci's Antique Club side! Ultimately the food on the Manci's side is far superior to me. The same folks that own Callaghan's Irish Social Club in Mobile have taken over Manci's and added the pizza addition of Buster's Brick Oven. Overall this is a great neighborhood spot which gives you the choice of the more "upscale" pizza side or the more classic dive bar side with different menus available in each. So far my experience with Buster's Brick Oven has convinced me to stick with the food at Manci's!
