We often stop at Whataburger when traveling, this was our first (& last) visit to the Brenham location. The restaurant smelled bad, like some type of cleaning products. The table we were seated at was sticky. Took FOREVER to get our order. Employees obviously clueless as to their roles. The self service soda fountain had no ice. One employee was filtering the grease in one of the fryers, while another was pouring frozen french fries into it, this is a health violation. The two employees dressed as managers were having some type of disagreement and were yelling at employees about the slowness of order prep. There were several people inside waiting for take out orders and dine in orders yet employees just meandered around with no sense of urgency to fulfill orders and most appeared clueless as to their responsibilities. Finally got our food only to find it to be cold. Had noticed an ordered sitting on a counter for several minutes, turned out to be ours. I usually love Whataburger but this location is a disgrace to the company and needs some serious management help from corporate. read more

Worst Whataburger, both food and dine-in, I have ever had, bar none. Burger drenched in mustard, pretty much inedible. Worker threw the bag down in front of me, no tray. Had to ask for ketchup. Threw that down, also. Then the staff had about a 10-year-old boy going around with a spray bottle of chemicals cleaning tables. He sprayed it and landed on my food and hands. At that point finally got up and walked out. Just awful. I had actually stopped here a couple of years ago on my way through and had an also bad experience, but didn't recall until I was sitting at a table waiting on my order. I have and will continue to warn friends and family away from this location. It is epically awful. If this was my first experience with Whataburger, I would never walk in another one.
