My family and I recently visited this Chick-fil-A for breakfast, and it was the worst experience I have ever had at any Chick-fil-A. It's especially disappointing because this is my hometown location and the only one in our area. We stood in line for about 15 minutes because the cashier appeared to be having trouble with the register. We were patient and understood that everyone has to learn, but by the time it was our turn, breakfast had ended by one minute. We asked if we could still order breakfast, and we were told yes. As we continued ordering, I overheard what seemed to be a manager say, "If they want their breakfast food, they have to order it now," instead of speaking directly to us. We then had to separate and pay for our breakfast order before finishing the rest of our meal.After being told our three breakfast bowls could be made, we were then informed they actually couldn't. We were offered substitutions we didn't want, so we requested a refund and ordered from the lunch menu instead. Throughout the interaction, the cashier seemed visibly frustrated, repeatedly sighing and acting as though we were an inconvenience. I work in fast food myself, so I understand stressful situations happen. However, customer service means remaining professional and treating guests with respect. We were patient the entire time, yet left feeling frustrated, dismissed, and disappointed. After this experience, I would rather drive 45 minutes to the Chick-fil-A in College Station than return to this location. read more

Biggest L chick-fil-a. I waited for a solid 10 minutes in the mobile drive thru line and 10 minutes in a Chick-fil-a line is a LONG time. And the person behind me got their food before I did, and then I got my food before the person in front of me did and I had to wait even longer behind them stuck in line until they got their food. Okay. At first when they first opened I felt bad for all the bad reviews but now, I understand. Every single time I come here my food is either wrong or not good. Me and my coworkers have received raw chicken multiple times. They barely give you any fries, the staff is not as friendly. The mobile drive thru is completely useless. A few things to note: they have a drive thru line for mobile orders and regular orders, they have someone actually standing at the drive thru line taking your orders, and there's an outside patio area. They bring food to the back of the drive through but you are blocked in by cars in the front not having gotten their food yet while your food sits there and gets cold. Everything needs to be improved at this place. The food and the service. My family drove by over this weekend from Houston and I never thought a chick fil a would have made the mistakes they did. How do you forget to add chicken to the sandwich? One of the sandwiches half of the cheese was outside, as if the cheese was just "slapped" in there. The wait was long (over 10 min), causing lines to get even longer (we had only one person in front of us when we got there, by the time we left over 7 cars waiting (it wasn't even a peak hour). This Chick-fil-A in Brenham,TX. Was the most disappointing experience, the manager & staff should be replace due to their customer service. When I drove thru the drive thru there was no traffic in the lines totally empty. As I drive in 2 associates were chatting amongst themselves without noticing me pass through. I was dusk and I didn't even notice that they were out there. When I approached closer there was another associate by the entrance door to the restaurant. I asked to please take my order. Her reply was that she was not allowed, that was the worst excuse ever. I said what do u mean, those 2 associates were chatting and never came to me for my order. She did try to get their attention but they were so heavy into chatting with each other they had no attention on anything else. To me that is already 3 strikes of BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE unless that is what Chik-fil-A pays them to do. Still at after several minutes past, still no customer in the drive thru only me. She then told me that I needed to drive back thru the line to the chatty associates take my order. I was beyond disappointed, and said you must be kidding. She rudely said that is the process. So I continued on to the window and asked if my orders could be taken, she was the RUDE MANAGER AND SAID NO NOT THE PROCESS I NEED TO DRIVE BACK THRU FOR THEM TO TAKE MY ORDER OR COME INSIDE TO ORDER. I was so TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED. There were no customers waiting inside or out and she could have done the correct thing by taking my order at the window and did her rightful customer service job. These young people will not succeed in life with this type of attitude to customers. U SHOULD TEACH YOUR EMPLOYEES TO SERVE ALL CUSTOMERS NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCES. This would have been a tool for them to step up to the plate and Offer service instead they only want stand behind the lines and not extend service to anyone. Now I could call this a racial act because I'm Hispanic, I hate to think that Chick-fil-A supports this sort of service. There are procedures I do understand but in this event it should have stopped there and they should have done everything to please the customer. Absolutely silly drive through experience. Nice employee took order 100 ft from menu, and charged card. Then after waiting not too long 1-2 minutes pulled up after the menu spot to have another employee standing with 3 others to confirm our name. Then our order was not there and had to restate order. Employee did not mark it down correctly and had to redo order again. The total came to 7 dollars more than what we paid for prior. This is entire time we are majorly holding up the line for everyone else. They asked us to repay and say the other wouldn't charge. We were asked to again state the order. Our little rescue dog who is very reactive was also with us and makes it difficult to interact with others. Shouldn't be that hard to go through a drive-thru. 2/10 experience. We recently went and from all the Chick-fil-A this was the worst. Usually the employees are so helpful,asking,taking orders,etc. Not this one. Lit everyone was just standing by the counters. Finally when we got called up we asked for that pimento sandwich and they had no idea til someone had to tell the cashier 'oh yeah that was limited time only'. What was funny is seeing the person in front of us being taken out of line by an employee and took him behind the counter to show him "a special or to show him on his phone what was the best burger to order". This is a brand new location only open a couple weeks. I'm pretty sure they are still working out some kinks. We did stop by the first week for breakfast and it was delicious. Service was a bit slow but to be expected as the new employees learn the ropes. But they must be doing well because people are crowding to it. Be patient and give these guys a break. BY FAR THE WORST CHICK FIL A I'VE EVER BEEN TO!! To start they don't put any napkins, silverware, ketchup, or any other standard self serve items out like every other location has. There's also no hand sanitizer anywhere on site! So you have to go up and ask the staff for these basic items that they consistently fail to include when receiving food! They're rude, ignore you, and NEVER say the customary "it's my pleasure", they act like you're unconvincing them. We sat for over 25 minutes inside waiting on 2 simple cups of ice cream when they weren't even busy. I finally went up and had to point up to my order on their screen still waiting to be fulfilled while the "owner" sat and chit chatted with a group of people exuberantly dressed for a formal event. No apology from staff for not making/bringing the ice cream. Instead I received two very under filled cups that they puts lids on when they were not togo...and without spoons...which as I mentioned aren't available for customers to get themselves, so I had to ask for those too. They've cheated me repeatedly on the chicken fillet on the salad, usually only receiving half a fillet or less amd the cut it up to try to disguise their dishonesty and the fries are NEVER filled. It's like some inner city disaster of a location that treats the customers like they're going to steal all the plastic wear and condiments! As much as I was looking forward to having a chick fil a in town, after a handful of visits I now refuse to eat there! I've come through the drive-thru at different times during the afternoon and early evening and they always take forever, even when there is no line. The window for blaming this on them being new has long closed. At this point it seems like an organization issue. Food has been good every time, and the employees have all been friendly. This was my first time visiting our new Chick-fil-A I ordered in the drive thru and the attendant had a hard time showing me the menu because it became tangled in her braids. She was eventually able to remove the menu from where it was clipped to her. There were two drive-through lines in progress, but it was hard to pull into the actual drive-through, because the second attendant was standing in my lane while taking her order. The food was delivered fairly quickly, but it was also delivered out of order, and movement through the drive thru was stalled. I am hopeful that these are all just new challenges, and that things will continue to improve. read more

We had one of those ultra-complicated days today in my family. Among the potential problems was the fact that I did not realize you have to go inside this store to pick up catering orders. When I realized this was the case, I thought I would have to cancel my order last minute, because I was in the wrong vehicle (no wheelchair), half an hour from home, and cutting it really close on a transatlantic flight into IAH. And of course, it was Saturday lunchtime, and the store was covered up with teams coming from Saturday morning games, families running their weekend errands, etc. All calls to the restaurant went to full voicemail boxes, because they were all running at full tilt. Even under such stressful circumstances, not one but two CFA associates made the time to creatively solve my problem, and get me on the road in time to connect with our three-years-in-the-making immigrant arrival in Houston. Everything about my order was thoughtfully prepared and provided for. Service was crazy good considering the maelstrom in which it occurred. And the food was...well, it was CFA.
