If you are passing through Brenham on your way to Houston skip this McDonald's location and hit up the one in Hempstead instead just mere 20 mins down the road. This location is so badly managed and the staff does everything they can to avoid interactions with guests. I don't want to judge people on fashion choices but I seriously question the cleanliness if the staff looks that unkempt. This is a fast food restaurant but don't expect speedy service. Be prepared to wait 30+ minutes for your food. So that extra 20 to the well run location in Hempstead will be a time saver. I have to wonder if the franchise owner even steps foot in their establishment. They really should give a no star option. read more

This is the most horrible place I have ever stopped at, I had a bad experience and I regret bringing my family to this place, the fat woman tried to argue with my daughter as if she was an adult!!! and gave us the food in bad condition 1 hour later. This restaurant has the slowest, rudest, most unfriendly staff Iv'e ever encountered. There was no one and I mean NO ONE inside the restaurant and my grandson and I were treated as though we were invisible. Not a single word was spoken to us our entire visit. We were waiting at the counter for our food (after we had to use a kiosk to order it ourselves because no one came to take the order) and a worker stepped in front of us -- almost stepping on my toes -- to do something at the drink counter. So called manager apologized at least 5 times when the app didn't take my order for free fries with drink. All I got was a drink at regular price. He wouldn't correct the situation with giving me the free fries. He explained it happens when using the app! Then I get outside and see a sign for any size soft drink sign for $1. For being one of my favorite restaurants this was a disgrace to the McDonald's name. The food was good. The place was dirty and smelled. BUT THE SERVICE! My sister ordered a chocolate Milk and they gave her white milk. When she asked for chocolate they just gave her another white milk, then we asked again and it took them 3 minutes to get a chocolate milk. It also took them 3 reminders to get my coke. It was just sitting there, and I had to tell them 3 times to get my drink. To me it looked like only 1 employee was doing something. Got 3 hot n spicys with cheese and I waited 10 mins for them to cook it. Then after my kids downed both of theirs, I open mine and there is no cheese. My kids didn't get cheese on theirs either. $9 for 3 hot n spicy and $2 for 3 slices of cheese. Manager said they won't bother to make it. Holy smokes. I don't usually write bad reviews nor do I worry about bad reviews but this was just beyond my comprehension. First, we got a lady on the speaker that barely spoke to us, it was difficult to even get through placing the order with how short she was (ok, no big deal), then that same lady took our money without knowing to say the basic please and thank you (still ok, not why we came here). But goodness gracious. McDonalds are known for their fries. They are delicious. Not only did ours seems under fried but they actually lacked any salt what so ever. Look I don't even write reviews but I had to make a whole account for this. There is a lady in this McDonald's who almost got in a fight with a customer the last time I was there. Now this time I come in with my family and one of my family members ordered a chocolate milkshake. We get the shake and it is white like vanilla.The lady who made the shake goes "its chocolate, it's just whatever came out the machine before is in there" in the rudest of tones. I said but I didnt ask for what was in the machine before this shake. They asked for a chocolate shake not vanilla. She then smacked her mouth and walked away. Really? Has no one else reviewed this McDonald's establishment yet? Well...then let me be the first, and with a one star rating. I'm not usually one to go to McDonald's a lot - but my boyfriend and I have found ourselves in a situation where we are commuting from Austin, TX to Houston, TX frequently. Brenham is one of those little towns in between that makes a good rest stop and we decided to catch some eats while buzzing through. This is, without a doubt, the s-l-o-w-e-s-t McDonald's drive-thru I have ever experienced. One hand doesn't know what the other is doing, and no one is getting along. We waited in line quite a while to place our order. When we got up to the first window and paid, the lady along with an employee standing behind her were making snarky comments about the second window's ability to do things correctly.. to me, the customer. The truck in front of the car in front of us backed up and came back to the second window for order fixes, so the wait was somewhat long. The car in front of us had no problems, that we know of. When we got up to the window, it took forever for them to get our food out, and they even took our receipt to try and figure out what we ordered. So, we got our food but they neglected to get us our second drink. They checked our receipt and the lady pointed out that the second drink was not on it. Well isn't that interesting, that the first window screwed it up, considering they were the ones making comments. So, I had to whip out my credit card *again* and pay for an additional drink at the second window. Seriously? I mean.. seriously. Might I mention, that I have never *actually* worked at a fast food establishment, BUT I have worked for the company that makes the point of sale registers and the grill monitoring systems for many fast food establishments including McDonald's and used to help troubleshoot these exact systems. It's not that complicated to take orders, watch the grill and order screens and go down the line. If this conglomerate of people cannot figure this out, then maybe management ought to consider retraining these people to get along and work together so that they can perform their jobs correctly. read more

We came here to evacuate. This morning, I went to this McDonald's to get my grandmother a coffee. They handed to me with the lid not on properly and it spilled on my lap. I went to the ER with 2nd degree burns. I called the manager from the ER and talked to her and she hung up on me. When I got discharged, I went to the store and tried to talk with her and get corporate's information. She wouldn't give us any information other than a "customer incident form." S-L-O-W as hail. Every single ding dang time. I can run inside HEB and grab a few groceries while my husband sits in the drive thru... And I am usually finished before he has made it to the window to pick-up food. The inside is not any faster. The employees are not friendly and all act like they woke up on the wrong side of the bed. The parking is a mess as well. Park in HEBs parking lot so you're not stuck by the long line with the drive thru that inches along at about the rate at which paint dries. The cashiers were talking about fighting another woman for so long while I was waiting to order that the manager chimed in and told them to take my order. My friends and I were weary after a long journey and a night of heavy drinking when we reached the Brenham McDonalds Restaurant. We entered the establishment at just before 11 am and were relieved to see the breakfast menu. However, when we tried to order breakfast we were met by the manager who smashed our dreams and told us that we had to order lunch. I'm not accusing her of being deceitful but the sign clearly displayed breakfast items. Maybe we were mistreated because we were not from the area. After resigning ourselves to the lunch menu, we attempted to order when I noticed a sign written in florescent marker. The marker used made it very difficult to read but the message was clear: the restaurant had no potable water. No soda, coffee, teas or anything else. I asked myself "how can this restaurant be open with no access to running water?" "What is happening in the kitchen of this establishment?" Defeated, my party and I set off down the road in search of another McDonalds. We found one a short time later in a gas station. I had not believed it possible that I would prefer a gas station McDonalds to a free standing restaurant. Indeed, this experience has given me a great deal to think about. read more

She was looking forward to come here and play since there's no playground in Sealy, TX anymore. Also, I ordered a strawberry lemonade and apparently someone put too much of strawberry syrup.
