I want to update this again to 5 stars. They have proven to be consistently good and have really turned it around. Let's be fair, this is fast food and not fine dining. But for fast food, it's excellent. You don't go here to lose weight or to find the best burger in the US. You go here to grab something and go, which they do very well. This is a Pretty awful Sonic location. Service is terrible. Food is cold and wrong most of the time.

As someone who has worked in one of the top 3 performing sonics in the entire country, this location is a terrible representation of a great company. Stay away from this one. Service here is absolutely awful, I am nothing but nice to them even though I've noticed the rudeness before and spend a LOT of money here cause sonic is my comfort food. But after today I sure won't. I am currently sick and sent my brother to get my order, I asked him to ask for sauce, he is the sweetest little brother and yet he came to tell me they were rude to him and straight up said no, and actually gave him none. on top of that this is now the 3rd time they have forgotten to put the sauce in the bag which is why I had him ask in the first place. to say I am disappointed in the service here is an understatement p.s. they don't make the smasher burgers right at this location either read more

Drinks are great. They just are very slow. It should not take 20-30 minutes just to get a slushy. It happens 90% of the time.

When ordering the woman who took our order was very rude, she raised her voice and got agitated when we tried to ask her questions. The over all feel of the place is clean and nice. The food it wonderful. I'm just very upset by the woman who took the order. Please fix that. read more

Yo! I don't know what the other reviewers were trippin about to give this place minimun stars, but this Sonic is on top of its game! Pulled up because Mom needed to go to the restroom and its accessible from the outside. It was a little conjested for noon time on a weekday, so I was expecting a wait. No worries since she needed to go to bathroom anyway, so I decided to order the Chili cheese dog that was on sale while I waited. Unlike my last visit to Sonic, this stall had a working card reader, so I didnt have to worry about finding change to pay. Order was out likity split and came with my receipt and accurrate order. Somene else pulled up and only ordered a drink and in like 2 minutes she was out of here! The employees are polite and quick to bring your orders, plus the bathroom was extremely clean. roomy, and provides privacy according to Mom. Cant beat that! read more

Great Sonic! Love coming here. Don't listen to the reviews that are people complaining because they expect Houston restaurant level service. This is a Sonic, people. If they mess up your order be polite and ask for a fix. All my experiences have been great. Burgers are good, messed up my orders a few times but all Sonic's do that. Drinks are cold and refreshing. Tater tots taste great and are hot and steaming. If you're in Brenham and really want Sonic just come and order some! read more

Husband and I went to Sonic in Brenham for a evening treat. He ordered a large M&M blast and I had a peanut butter cup. The M&M cup had maybe 6 ground up M&MS and the peanut butter cup had only bits of chocolate. Very dissatisfied. I would have gone back to complain but we were already driving back to Fayetteville. At ordering, the guy on the speaker sounded really rushed and seemed like he would try to rush me as well. The car-hop was awesome, he ran out of ketchup on him and made the trip back to go grab me some more. The food was really good, and actually had extra chili and cheese like I requested. went to order lemonaide slushie, and lady over mic snapped at me and said what? i repeated myself in a respectful manor and she claimed "we dont got that" and proceeded to tell me theres only two kinds of slushies, when their menu and webste clearly had quite a list. she didnt apologize or say anything. got my size wrong too. should be fired. read more

I don't normally leave after ordering without paying or receiving said order... But after waiting 10 minutes for nothing, and dealing with the rudest chick ever answering, I had about all I could take. This chick answers, and I tell her 3x what I was ordering, and she fails EVERY TIME to get it right. Then, when I said "holy crap" after she screws it up the third time, she says "well yea holy crap you need to speak louder!!" Attitude?! That's the first time she mentioned she couldn't hear, and I was already yelling at the stupid speaker by the second time... I know I annunciated, and if she couldn't hear, she should have either said so earlier, or COME OUTSIDE. It won't hurt you!! It's what you signed on to do!! So finally she seems to get it right. Mind you, it's a shake and a large fountain drink. Easy. Wait 10 minutes, nothing. I get that she was pissed I was frustrated, but customer service should NOT get WORSE, but better if you're screwing up. This is not the first time this location has been rude or inefficient, but for me, it's the last. I've even called corporate before on these guys, but they failed to do anything either ... They got didn't give is all our food, luckily we checked before we left. They also didn't get our order right either. Mustard and ketchup was all over the hamburger when you opened it. its always a hit or miss with this place. It pisses me off when you order a sonic blast and only a quarter of the top is candy pieces and the rest is soft serve. Then I will ask for extra because that's usually how they make it, I get charged for the extra which is fine, but then again the top layer may be chunky but then half way down there are NO candy pieces. If I'm going to pay extra be sure and blend it ALL THE WAY DOWN! Every single time I order a shake or a blast I have to be extremely specific with these people and it's ridiculous.
