If I could give this whataburger a Lower rating I would. I gave them a second chance tonight after my sons boxing... I reminded him about the last time when they gave me a burger WITH NO MEAT! I was going to yelp them last time. However I'm all about second chance. Well tonight I took my son to get a burger he was really hungry but wanted to wash his hands before he ate. I checked the burger to make sure it was plain and dry. It appeared to be . when we got home he said mom this burger smells .. So we looked and they had clearly took a burger and scrapped off the the mustard as you can see in the photos. I will Never go back to this whataburger. Went 4-18-20 to pick up lunch threw the drI've thru for my family. I just want to say that was the best service I ever saw at a drive thru!! Fully staffed and knowledgeable!! They took my order read it back to me . They had me pull forward and they took it out for me read the order back to make sure it was correct!! I am very pleased to say the food is the best in the Albuquerque area!!!!! What a great experience for lunch and we we're hungry!! Everything was perfect when I set it on the kitchen table!! Well what can I say besides they were just rude from the start. They said their usual pitch of "do you wanna try our____" but I didn't understand her so I said What is it and she said order when you're ready. Well what's new that I might wanna a try. She stated order when I'm ready again. I ordered 4 burgers and they only had me down for 3 I repeated my order and asked me to pull up I stated I have 4 she said ok pull up so I do and the manager and 2 others are rolling their eyes at me talking crap then as me to pull forward. Fine I do now I wait an additional 10 min for my food. I live 2! Minutes away! 2! I get home and my food is cold and I had them out, pop mine in the microwave and the no onions I asked for are in all my burgers. Kids upset and hungry I corrected the problem then my son brings me his burger almost done. It's basically raw. I'm pissed so I check mine and the other 2 and one of them is also raw. The food is usually good. I eat here a few time a month. Just always check your order at the drive through. They screw mine up EVERY time. The last time I asked for Sprite and onion rings with my meal. I got Dr Pepper and fries. Asked for no garnish on my burger. The wrapper says no garnish. Guess what, lettuce for days . I don't think they've managed to get my drive through order right once. The good thing is they are usually good at fixing things if you catch them before you leave. read more

TL;DR: They refused to replace three orders after customer was told they would and was told to come back anytime. My mom had gone to this location a month or two ago and placed three orders. The person at the window was extremely rude and on top of that they got all three orders wrong. My mom called when she got home (she lives an hour out of town) and spoke to the manager on duty at the time (Alexa). She said they would replace the orders. My mom told her she lived out of town and Alexa told her just come in whenever she was in town again. Well, she did just that. She was in town again today and I told her I would take her over there (my mom is disabled and drives as little as possible). We went through the drive through and provided the information only to be told they would not replace the orders because her name was not on the system and the manager she spoke to no longer worked there. They refused to make any concessions. So basically it's ok to take a customer's money and provide terrible service and not make it right. My mom was not given an expiration date on them providing what she paid for in the first place. It is obviously not her fault the manager is no longer there, but they sure took my mom's money and didn't give her what she ordered and then refused to make it right. And to add to the disrespectful customer service, when we drove through to leave, there were 3-4 staff just standing in the windows with their backs toward us. With such childish behavior I'm kind of glad they didn't replace the orders because they probably would have tampered with them somehow. read more

Just went to the Whataburger store at Candelaria and Eubank Eastdale Shopping center our last 3 trips the food was great, however on this day I tried to call and speak to a Manager and a recording came on saying they were to busy to reply. We ordered 1 triple meat, triple cheese and Double meat with double cheese, fries and Onion rings, the meat in the burger was greasy and tasted old. What can I say, I'm absolutely impressed with the cleanliness of this restaurant. i give this place a strong and solid 3.5 stars. I mean it does have its hurtles as far as being a top rated facility as age is a barrier, but I literally witnessed employees scrubbing the floors, booths, tables, floors and baseboards by hand. How often do you see that? The food was fresh. I ordered the #1 Whataburger combo as a way of properly evaluating an establishment that touts its burgers in its name. I must say it was good. Similar in my opinion to a Lotaburger. My better half had the patty melt which was very good as well. They deliver your food to your table and offer you condiments from a tray. The manager was really on top of everything. It was a Friday night and she kept everything running smoothly. Everytime I go to Whataburger I'm in for a treat. I always get the Green Chili Double Cheeseburger... which I highly recommend. What's also so great about Whataburger? I LOVE their fries, and their selection of ketchups is really awesome. Try the spicy ketchup with the fries. I assure you, you will love it. Horrible experience! Pulled into Whataburger drive through and ordered just a cheeseburger - nothing else. They told me to go to Lane B because I was paying with a credit card. I waited a full 5 minutes before anyone came to do the credit transaction. The "cash lane" seemed to be whizzing in and out. Not sure why I was being punished for using a credit card. The helper said my burger would be right out. I waited a total of 10 minutes more and no one appeared. I was able to get the attention of the cashier who just said it was coming. Five stars for Cesar. And our extra crispy fries. We recently moved to ABQ from the panhandle of Florida where we frequently visited whataburger. Our service there was mediocre and it was a coin toss whether or not we'd get the extra crispy fries we asked for. Since moving, we've been to this whataburger a few times but today met Cesar for the first time. He really prides his work and made us feel welcome. He's a great face for the company. Unfortunately the military is sending us back to Florida soon and we will miss this whataburger and Cesar. read more

It can't be called fast food because it takes forever every single time, no matter what you get. One time I sat in the car forever waiting on a cinnamon roll. Of course there was no one at the window to ask ( are the window folks cooking too or what??) so I sat there. Had my egg sandwich, no cinnamon roll. Finally the guy comes out and is like "didn't I give you your food already?" And I told him about the roll and he's like I thought someone else already gave you it? Wtf?! Drive thru basics! Originally liked this place for breakfast because the pancakes were much better than McDonalds. However, I watched about 100 cars go through mcDonald while I waited 25 min for breakfast this morning. When I mentioned to the girl that it was not acceptable time she just laughed. I absolutely love their jalapeno cheddar biscuit breakfast sandwich with sausage. It tastes like the breakfast sandwiches my mom used to cook when I was a kid. Soft and tender biscuit with a fresh egg and delicious sausage patty, yum! I also love the green chile double! Fresh tasting roasted green chile with melty cheese and two burger patties.
