I used to be a regular at wescafe but in recent months they have been giving me a medium coffee instead of a large and now this morning my husband brought me this coffee with half of the coffee gone. My husband questioned it at the cafe and they said it was correct. How is that a large coffee? This working mama needs more than this especially when she frequented the cafe often and knows that this is incorrect. A friend love this place for the tranquility of their patio, service, and their food. Finally a wonderful gathering and what a great place to do it at. You order at the door, given a number to bring to your table, be sure to sanitize your hands with that gallon sanitizer (non-scented and non-drying). So much to choose from, breakfast or lunch items? Omelets? Hamburger, sandwiches? Spinach spanakopita? Egg Florentine? Baked goods like croissants, etc. Whatever you order will be great. My peeps ordered the traditional breakfast with candanian ham, bacon, eggs, toast. That plate was eaten clean. My other peep had (phyllo baked spinach) spanakopita with salad. Mine was perfect thinly sliced roast beef with french roll with sun dried tomato and greens. Very juicy as how drippings onto the plate. I asked for grilled onions but i think they mistakenly heard sun dried tomato, but it was perfect. Best sandwich just because it was huge and filled with ingredients ($9.88). Service was wonderful. We bussed our table. Clean restrooms. On Saturday, there's a tiny farmer's market around the block. So eat and take a stroll in this nice webster street. The food in this location was awful...I took my father here for Father's Day and got my father a pancake Combo and my self chicken omelet. Well the pancakes that came out for my father were literally the size of children's breakfast dish...SMH Also the cheese they were supposed to put on my father's egg were tossed on and not even melted ,after I Inform them that they forgot the cheese. And because everything on the plate were in small portions, even the one piece of sausage. he was basically able to eat his whole meal with in 3 bites . The omelet I had , had no flavor at all!! I really like the staff at this restaurant. They are committed to customer satisfaction and the small amenities that make going out to eat fun. The outdoor patio is a hidden gem. I have had mixed results with the portion sizes here, although today the sandwiches were exceptional both in flavor and the amount of food. My sister and I wanted to try Wescafe because we have been testing different cafe's to do homework at in our area and this was one. For drinks, I ordered an iced vanilla latte and my sister ordered the einstein juice. For food we got the eggs benny and a bagel with cream cheese. The food was pretty mediocre, simple, nothing too exciting. The bagel was any ordinary bagel (we got onion). As for the eggs benny, the eggs benedict itself was good, good sauce. It came with a side of potatoes which were really soft, but I do prefer more crunchy potatoes, so do with that information as you wish. As for the drinks, I didn't ask how my sister felt about her drink, but she did order an iced americano which was very acidic and almost hard to drink. But what is the most upsetting is that I am paying and expecting to get a half salad and half sandwich... take a look at the picture below. We tried huevos rancheros which had very bland sauce and were disappointing, and also chicken sandwiches, which were pretty tasty with a generous amount of fillings. They will find your number and bring the food out. Breakfast was so so. Loved the baked potatoes. Coffee was very good, served in the big cup. However the cup was thick that coffee got cold very quickly because the heat got transferred to the cup. They should microwave the cup with coffee to keep coffee stay hot for longer. For lunch, I enjoy the mouth watering Roast Beef Sandwich or the one of a kind Turkey Club, as well as the Cheeseburger and French Fries. The salads always hit the spot as well. Large portion sizes and amazing coffee. I'm planning to come back for days when I get to work from home for sure! The employee at the front was super friendly and the food came out very fast. There was a line out the door which was the only annoying part- I think our wait for two people was about 30-45 min for a Saturday brunch. First thing first, I went with 2 friends and ordered a hamburger, fruit bawl, and a mocha frappe. The noise level from the prepping machinery, such as the coffee grinder and etc, was so unbearably loud that we couldn't hear each other talking which ruined our experience before we even get comfortable there. One worker and customer that were very near one another had to yell to each other in order to have their conversation heard which lasted for a while until that customer left, which added to the extreme noise level. My friend who also ordered a fruit bawl received a garden salad instead. They didn't tell us when our drinks were ready as they placed them on the counter and left it up to us to determine when our drinks were ready and which ones were ours when we got up to check on them. My hamburger; they got my order wrong and gave me a cheeseburger instead of a regular hamburger. The patty was so very thin and the cheese burger was very unsatisfying in taste.
