I've been here several times and never received the full order. Atrocious customer service. Employees are not trained properly.

This Wendy's is located at the Red Hill exit on the 5. There was a lot of parking lot space (though not as much as a shopping plaza) and there was way more internal square footage than the Wendy's in Laguna Hills or Irvine branches. They had a Coke Freestyle and iced tea but no Splenda. There was almost no one inside at the time so it was possible to hear everyone's conversations, and there was almost no wait either. This Wendy's is the perfect place to stop by for a fast drive thru if you are on the northbound 5 freeway. It is right off the Red Hill exit and you turn right and its right there. When you leave make sure to use the far exit so that you can make a left. The crispy chicken caesar wrap is probably the best fast food deal around. Food was piping hot and came out fast. I have been buying 2 "key tags" for years. (For those of you that don't know, Wendy's has this thing where you buy a key tag for $2 & you get a free frosty for the rest of the year & the money goes to charity)... I have 2 keytags & my friend has 1 keytag. We went through the drivethru, like always, & they refused to give us 3 frosties!! I usually spend $20-30 a visit....every other Saturday... I've been getting 3 frosties probably for the last 5 years every time I go through the drivethru then all the sudden I can only have 1?!? I tried to do 2 orders...one for me & one for my friend & they still refused to give me 2. Had I walked up to the counter & did 3 orders they would have had to give me 3. WHY ALL THE SUDDEN NO 3 frosties???? PLUS they've been letting me do 3 frosties for the last 5 years & then all of the sudden in September I'm only allowed to have 1?!?!? WTF?!?!?! I ordered the Spicy Asiago Ranch Chicken Club for $4.99. The Chicken was juicy, crunchy and had a good spice. The Cheese was good, the Bacon was delicious and the Ranch Sauce was very good. An excellent Chicken Sandwich from this Drive Thru. read more

I usually go here after work and never had a problem ordering thru the app. Tonight I placed an order and the app said "order received." Pulled to the speaker box and told them my name. They said it's not there. To top it off, the person on headset is rude not only to me but to the car behind me too. I pulled in at the window to show them my app, she said they don't have it even without looking at the register, I had to ask if she can check again. I asked if I can order at the window for the inconvenience but got told to go back to the line. She said sorry but it doesn't seem like she means it. I come to this location almost daily for honey butter chicken biscuits for breakfast and usually the morning manager Mily is always 100% friendly and on point. That being said, the lady working today, Thayra, is a complete unprofessional, rude employee whom sighed into the speaker when I changed my mind during ordering, argued with me regarding your 2for$4 deal which the sign was right in front of me on the menu that I repeatedly had to keep reading to her, then when I went to the window she refused to give me any sauces stating that they are only to be given if I buy a "combo meal" and I can have only ketchup, no salsa or anything else! I literally come daily for usually 2 biscuits with 4 packets of La Victoria salsa, on sale or not, and sometimes coffee. Is this not a reasonable order? Apparently not at Wendy's unless Mily works! I will most likely stop my morning ritual here which is fine, but no consumer should ever be treated this way regardless and I hope corporate or whatever management takes this into consideration! I am not a "Karen." It takes ALOT to get me to take my time to complain and this is not the first time unfortunately I that I've been treated poorly here. If it weren't for Mily I would have not returned prior either! If you like to get your order wrong 100% guaranteed at every single visiting then go here. They never get the sizes right when your order drive thru but they still end up charging you the upgrades without delivering. I gone a few times in the same week and they had different employees all the time even in the past. Maybe a high turn over on employees and poor management? I think thas why the always mess up the orders. They need to get it together honestly and stop stealing from consumers. It's Wendy's, what do you expect? They have good food and one of the better dollar menus I have seen from other establishments like it. The only complaints that I have with this particular Wendy's is that they usually mess at least one thing up, and it is usually either my side salad or salad dressing. Too many times I have come here for a Caesar Side Salad only to get home and find out they gave me a Garden Side Salad. Also they just love handing out their ranch dressing. That wouldn't be an issue if I didn't order the Caesar Side Salad and was looking forward to their delicious Lemon Garlic Caesar Dressing. Heck, if they want to give me ranch I'd do fine with the Creamy Red Jalapeño Dressing or the Avocado Ranch Dressing, but don't just pawn off your Classic Ranch Dressing to me. So all in all, I like the food, the location is easy to get too, just make sure to double check your order before you leave so you receive what you ordered. read more

I used to eat a Wendy's a lot when I worked in Brea years ago, but haven't really been back since then due to their greasy hamburger meat. Recently, Wendy's has been trying harder to upgrade their menu. There have been commercials for a Spicy Chicken Guacamole Club and that sounded good to me, so at lunch on Saturday, I stopped by my local Wendy's to try one out. As compared to the Spicy Chicken Sandwich served by Rally's, this sandwich is spicer. This sandwich has so many flavors going on, it's amazing. Literally have NEVER received the correct, or my full order from this restaurant. Always regular nuggets instead of spicy, fries missing completely, Diet Coke instead of the Dr. Pepper I ordered. I haven't been here in about 3/4 months because the last 3 or so times I had been there my order was wrong from the drive thru. Well, tonight I tried going back, and I should have learned lesson before because It's really frustrating to get all the way home and find your chicken sandwich to be beef and other things wrong that I don't see til I get home, every time I order there. I like this Wendy's. It has a nice dining area, a TV and a faux fireplace. One of the advantages of this Wendy's is the location. It's right off the 5 and makes it easy to get a quick bite to eat when you're traveling through the area. There's also a gas station directly across the street so you can kill two birds with one stone if you have a distance ahead of you. I've always liked Wendy's burgers, cooked to order and always juicy. A regular single is more than enough if you get the meal (w/fries and a drink). I also like that you can sub your side for a baked potato or salad if you are watching your carbs. So, in a nutshell, if you like burgers, you'll like Wendy's. If you like chicken sandwiches, you'll like Wendy's too. This location has the select your own soda, probably offers over 50 types. Kind of cool if you like to try different flavors. In the area? The new menu number system (2019) is lame at best. Now for the most popular items, all variants share the same menu number. Since this change, my order has not been right even once. Ask for the "Son of Baconator" and you'll get the large double one every time. If you don't notice the error, you've just spent too much money and/or had your card overcharged for something you didn't ask for. The customers writing these bad reviews are miserable; don't listen to them. Wendy's always has my back when i'm hungry and want some damn good food. The number 6 spicy chicken burger and chocolate frosty is my go to. The store is clean inside but it doesn't smell very pleasing so I recommend the drive through. As for the service I've never had a bad experience. However, one thing to remember is that if you eat your chicken with BBQ sauce and eat more than 1 tub of it (like me) than ask for more. Jorge has amazing customer service skills and is a great example for his co workers, not sure if he is a manager yet but he defiantly should be. I recently came here after a horrible experience at a trendy local restaurant. I was absolutely starving, and Wendy's came through for me. The only thing I ordered was the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. It was fantastic. It took no time at all to show up. It was really hot and juicy. I don't know how they pulled it off, but it tasted like it just came out of the fryer, and it was ready so quickly. Thank you, Wendy's, for saving my Sunday afternoon. Seems like this was a new restaurant, as I couldn't find it on Yelp. I went ahead and added it for you. Keep up the great work! This Wendy's really is the best Wendy's. They make everything so fresh and perfect. The girl behind the counter had amazing customer service and made our experience there fantastic. The manager was also very kind and helped us out when we came up short for our order. I have had problems with 3 other Wendy's in OC and 2 of them literally had a fly in my burger. Not this one. Went to the drive thru and there were two cars ahead. I ordered a chili and frosty. Simple order but when I finally got to the window after an extended wait, the chili and frosty weren't ready, and after paying then they made it. The first window where you would normally pay was closed which caused the delay at the pickup window. By the time I left the line at the drive thru cars were backed up out in the street due to their slowness and ineptitude. This is not the first time they were unorganized and slow at this Wendy's. One of the best fast food places in the world--this place gets crazy busy being next to the I-5, but even when you have to wait 5 minutes to order and 5 mins to get your food (when they're slammed during rush hour) isn't bad at all, especially compared to any Jack in The Box where it can easily take 20 mins to get a ciabatta sandwich! I was so impressed last week with their customer service--genuinely apologizing for the 10 min wait to everyone (even though they were doing all they could to work full speed and her everything out as fast as they could), and then going around the whole room passing out peppermint candies to everyone! :) I wish McDonalds could take a lesson from them. For me and everyone else there, it's worth the extra 4-5 mins on rare occasions to have fresh food, hot off the grill!!! read more

We've been to this location twice and both times we've had problems - hamburger meat not cooked all the way, large fries only half full, too salty and limp with oil and not being cooked properly, asked for no pickles on the burgers and both included pickles.
