The staff is professional and patient. I took a long time to pick my frames but they were so helpful. I can't wait to get my glasses.

Outstanding technician. Immensely knowledgeable provider. Delightful staff…read more Some optometrists are excellent technicians and refine your prescription to perfection. Some have great knowledge bases and answer questions on eye care with in depth, accurate, and actionable advice. Dr. Glasser is both, and arguably the best at both "sides of the coin" of any optometrist I've visited in my life. Importantly, Dr. Glasser and his entire staff are efficient and pleasant. They honestly try to make your visit as pleasant as possible. In an age where healthcare tends to be actively hostile to the notion of customer service, it is refreshing.

I have no issues with the quality of the examination or my in-person interactions with Dr. Glasser…read more(several appointments over many years). My issue is the way I was treated on my last visit by his assistant after it became apparent to her that I would not be buying frames or lenses from the practice. Her attitude immediately changed when I asked for a prescription. She stood up, went to ring up my copayment, and when she returned with the prescription she remained standing and was abrupt with me when I asked her to explain the change in my prescription, which was in a format I was not familiar with based on what I received in prior visits. I'm an educated person who wants to know how things work and what numbers actually mean, not merely to be told that "any qualified optician will understand" the prescription. I was made to feel stupid and like I was an imposition so I left and fed the prescription into ChatGPT which politely explained it to me, including how a progressive prescription can be translated into single vision distance and reading prescriptions, and what the numbers mean. AI was more polite and patient with me than the assistant. Despite having no issues with the doctor himself, I will not be returning to this practice in the future. The barriers between patients and medical information are evaporating due to AI. Doctors would be well advised to ensure that they and their staffs at least match the courtesy of ChatGPT. Update: In response to Dr. Glasser's comment, all I can say is that it would have taken his assistant less than a minute to sit down and politely explain to me the meaning of the numbers. Regardless of whether I'm dealing with an optometrist or a cardiologist, I take it upon myself to gain a thorough understanding of my heath, which is what ChatGPT provided and the assistant did not. If the doctor doesn't want to take constructive feedback on such a simple point, then I suppose that my decision to go elsewhere is the right one.

To start, making an appointment during these covid times was super easy. As a new patient, I called in, was scheduled and sent paperwork immediately to complete online. Ann-Marie was lovely on the phone and I already knew I was walking in to something good. Day of my appointment arrives and I pull out front and give them a call. They asked me a covid questionnaire and then walked me to the back. The office is surprisingly big and decorated in such a modern, clean way. Outside of each room was a sign flipped to indicate clean between use. I saw Dr. Drew that day who was absolutely phenonmenal. He gave me a back story on the practice (the Drs. Doyle are married!), how they are family-owned and operated, and told me his number one goal of each appointment: for the patient to walk away having learned something. The exam was thorough, he explained my astigmatism to me, and even gave me information sheets to take home. As someone who got Lasik eye surgery a few years ago, it was important for me to understand how my eyes have progressed since. I ended up choosing to get glasses that day to help with computer-related reading. They had a great selection to choose from - you explain to the staff what type of style you are looking for and they pull five or so pairs that fit that description. All in all, such a wonderful five-star experience. I highly recommend this practice to anyone, especially those who are looking to get Lasik or have already gotten it with TLC. They are TLC-certified and within their network of providers.

I was advised I could get them within a week (visit was 10 Dec 2026) as long as I paid a 30$ rush fee. I called after the first week and they were not in. Was advised they would come that Saturday- they did not arrive. They did not arrive the week after. I called both locations, left a VM and a text message... no response. I called VSP and they went through the exact same thing, with the office not responding by phone. By the time they came in, I was out of town and currently still out. I ended up getting another eye exam and glasses somewhere else. When I asked for a refund, Dr. Lamont wanted to mail glasses to my vacation location- this was NOT an option. When I asked VSP why Dr. Lamont and his team would advise me that a rush on my glasses was given as an option, I was told that VSP does NOT do rush orders in the month of December. When I asked if the doctor knew this, I was advised that he was definitely aware of this, and they were unsure why it was offered. All I want is a refund for my glasses AND benefits, due to not being able to reach the office for cancelation and for being misled about my order. But apparently Dr. Lamont's office is refusing to do this. Very sad, as I don't need two (2) pairs and I am still out of town.
