I did arrive too early at 1:32 PM The front desk did recognized me and got the paperwork rolling and co-payment (you know that weren't going to forget that). LOL! My appointment time was 2:45 PM I was called at 2: 50 PM( not bad) and things move forward in timely manner from that point (I was pleased). The front desk lady at the time I made my appointment was so accommodating and called in reinforcements to make sure I got an appointment before I had to report back to work. Today the check in process was speedy. The doctor assistant was personal and professional. There were several test done on my eye to make sure that everything will be right and ready for my surgery. All my questions were answered and the cherry on top was... I was told by another assistant they recommended I got a lens not covered by my insurance. The doctor looked at my last test taken on my eye and said that it was not necessary to get. Not to come out of pocket when I could get the one covered by my insurance. That because of the condition of my eye, it would not be worth paying that money. Because of my experience so far, I feel confident in a successful surgical out.

I was nervous, but Dr. V assured me that I'd be in good hands with Dr. Aziz Khanifar. My first visit was in 2021. I had a laser procedure done to correct the tear. It was nerve-wracking, but painless and over in about 15 minutes. (I'm sure my nail prints are still embedded in the arms of the examination chair, lol) After several monthly appointments to check my retina's progress, I was given the "all clear" and now I am to be seen on an annual basis. He is very personal he goes out of his to make his clients feel comfortable to any type of treatment. He also makes sure he chooses the right treatment for his clients. He ensures you know what the treatment process is and how it will ready or effect you. He ask what you are comfortable with and if your insurance doesn't cover he always had a back up plan on place. The staff is amazing that are all helpful patient and honest. They will make you smile no matter how bad the situation is. If you are in the DMV area and are willing to drive do your eyes a favor and visit this office you won't regret it.

The Doctor (Dr. Telahun) was supper nice and very knowledgeable, professional. She goes that extra mile to help her patients and she made sure we do not have more questions for her before we left. I admire her thorough and dedicated work. Her Assistant Abrham was very careful and very professional... In general i recommend for everyone who wants to see an ophthalmologist!!

Patty and Wendy are consistently so sweet and welcoming. The young lady with the burgundy hair is an absolute sweetheart too! And let's talk about Donato--kind, professional, and hilarious. Mike is truly a gem! He knows exactly what looks good on his patients. Trust me, he'll have you going broke while looking like a million bucks--LOL. Dr. Burns is fantastic. I have been going to…read moreAmerica's Best for over 10- years and even when I lived in Georgia no problem with being seen, customer service, etc. Even the Woodbridge location you get there at your appointment time and you will be in an out no problem. But here for some odd reason they only have an actual eye doctor only on Tuesdays and the rest it's virtual. Ok...but then they only had (1) employee who does the testing before you go see the doctor and they were behind hours! He was running in an out rooms looking frazzled. I came in a little early for my appointment and I was told it would be more than an hour or so before I even got back to do the tests. Not including it was at least 6-7 people ahead of me who hadn't been seen yet. I'm like why the hell I even have an appointment!! Then I overhead another customer saying that it's only this location and Forestville that be like this. And unfortunately I live closer to both of those but I won't return. I would rather drive a little further to be in and out than waiting over 2-hours after my appointment since they can't hire more people to help them out. I actually scheduled an appointment for Woodbridge as I'll be in the area tomorrow. Don't waste your time or schedule anything the day you go in. Just ridiculous!
