From the moment you call to schedule an appointment to checking in at the front desk, the customer service is top-tier. Chanell is amazing--she always makes me feel seen and valued. Patty and Wendy are consistently so sweet and welcoming. The young lady with the burgundy hair is an absolute sweetheart too! And let's talk about Donato--kind, professional, and hilarious. Mike is truly a gem! He knows exactly what looks good on his patients. Trust me, he'll have you going broke while looking like a million bucks--LOL. Dr. Burns is fantastic. First time buying eyeglasses but not the first time getting an eye exam...at any rate, the eye exam was informative and well done and I didn't feel like they were just trying to sell me glasses. The entire staff was pleasant and professional. About a week after having my glasses, I bent the arms of my glasses and I was able to come in (via appointment) and they fixed my glasses like brand new. I highly recommend this place! read more

I have been a patient at Eye Design for 10+ years. Dr. Burns is awesome and knowledgeable. The staff is friendly and professional. This practice is very state of the art and modern. I remained a patient here although my vision care insurance changed and they do not accept my current plan. Most of what Dr. Burns incorporates in his eye exam are not done by some other ophthalmologists. Believe me I know because I go to another provider covered in my vision care network, so I pay out of pocket for eye care in order to continue as Dr. Burns' patient. I had an appointment at the Eye Design Family Center it was the best eye exam and process that I have ever experienced. The staff was professional and friendly. I was truly in love with the latest technology that they used for the exams. I'm so glad that they didn't use that eye test with the push air which irritates me and most technicians because I'm always blinking. Dr. Burns was very professional and explained the results of each test thoroughly. The entire process was so smooth and everyone was knowledgeable in their specialties. Barry took his time with me during my eye glass selection and answered all of my questions. He even included notes in my chart about my sun glass selection for next year. They don't accept Federal government health insurance...in DC where all the Feds work. Not smart. I called to inquire. They took my info and the rude woman on the phone said she would call me back once she checks into it. She never did. I called back two days later. She put me on hold again. 30 seconds later she says they don't accept that insurance. You could have done that two days ago. read more

My first time here, and I will definitely be coming back! From checking in for my appointment to picking out glasses was excellent! The women at the front desk are really nice and very friendly. The entire staff has excellent customer service skills. Dr. Burns did an excellent job on my eye exam. My glasses took a little longer than two weeks (about 2 1/2 weeks), but that's only became they send orders off to a lab and the lab ran out of the lens that I needed. The optician gave me a really nice bag, eyeglass cleaners, a nice eyeglass case, and treats to make up for it. By the way, the way they have you pick out glasses is definitely something other eyeglass clinics should incorporate. They call you back after your eye exam and help you pick out glasses, so you're not stuck in the chaos of other people picking out glasses. Plus the facility is really clean, as well! read more
