Dr Koon is wonderful and professional but with that said the woman who fits glasses is horrible have bought two sets of glasses and neither fit. They were/are too large for my head and every time I leave I know they have not corrected my glasses and again I am leaving with them not being adjusted behind my ear. Maybe if she got up and checked with her eyes and hands. While here today three people came in picking up glasses and saying they were to loose - if you are fitted in the beginning you should never have a problem. Good luck folks. read more

Dr. Koon is a very pleasant and personable medical professional. Panoptic's equipment seemed very modern and made my experience much faster than originally anticipated. You will be given an appointment time and one of the Panoptic team will call you to let you know to come in from the parking lot. Wear a face mask. Panoptic has hand sanitizer available in every room I was in. I never feel rushed, she always takes all the time I need to have my questions answered. The annual examination is comfortable, not what I had experienced in the past at other offices. After a lens fell out of my frames, Panoptic was fixing the glasses on a Friday afternoon, after two other optometrists told me to come back on Monday. I then made an appointment for an exam and to get new glasses. Outstanding service from both Dr. Koon and her staff. OUTSTANDING is the only word to describe Panoptic! I was leery about going to the eye doctor (or any doctor) during the pandemic, but was immediately put at ease from scheduling on. I was told I would be the only person in the office and they were practicing all CDC guidelines for COVID-19 sanitization. Upon my arrival, the door was locked and a sign was placed on the door reemphasizing the sentiment that was shared during scheduling. I met with Dr Koon. She was all by herself, and very pregnant, but made me feel completely at ease and did not spare any VIP treatment! I had provided my insurance info on the phone and upon arrival she informed me of what my insurance would cover for both exam and product to ensure I was aware of all expenses up front. She then explained every portion of the exam and walked me thru the difference between my previous prescription and my current. After the exam, she went on to tell me about the frames and provide me with safety instructions for handling. I am SUPER indecisive when in comes to selecting glasses and she did not fret at all about my trying on 100 different frames. She even helped add to my pile ! Once my frames were selected, she walked me thru costs and performed my fitting. I was having such an enjoyable time in a space I felt completely safe, I lost all track of time. I would not only recommend Dr Koon, I would encourage anyone looking for eye care to visit her location! She is awesome! read more

Dr Koon was the only one there as the receptionist was on vacation. The doctor held it down. Taking care of me the patient. She continued to work with me even though the phone was ringing. Dr. Koon and her staff are incredibly patient!! As I was waiting one of the customers said the same thing in a conversation literally 5 times and Dr. Koon was very pleasant in her engagement. One of my former coworkers told me I had the patience of Job if that's true Dr. Koon has the patience of Jesus Himself!! The delivery time of my glasses was very fast. The only thing i didn't like were the glasses selection. There's a whole store of glasses but only one section was shown to me. I'm sure there are reasons for this. I really didn't like any of the frames shown to me, but I don't enjoy picking out glasses and knew that I needed them so I chose some. Dr. Koon's exam and explanations were very thorough. The glasses I had were too strong which is funny because shortly after I received them I went back to the major chain retailer to tell them my concerns and they told me to give my eyes time to adjust to them. However Dr. Koon told me they shouldn't be used for back up. I received those glasses 1.5 years ago before the pandemic, but after staring at the screen for nearly 2 years I'm sure my eyes are worse now than back then and they're still too strong!! I only wish I could give Dr. Koon and the staff at Panoptic more stars! They truly are qualified to treat your entire family. Dr. Koon first treated my 2 year old son, who looked at me and smiled ear ear the first time he put on his glasses. It was obvious he was seeing clearly for the first time! Next, she saw my husband and I, she found a potentially dangerous condition requiring surgery I had and referred me to a specialist. I took a chance and brought my special needs son to her today. The last two optometrists (one claiming to have special training for development disabilities) said his current prescription was appropriate. I suspected otherwise given his headaches and sudden refusal to wear his glasses. He finally had a comprehensive eye exam! Dr. Koon was very sensitive to his sensory challenge. She explained what she/machines were going to do/sound like beforehand. She gave him breaks and adjusted how bright the lights were. The adjustment needed to his prescription was massive! My heart feels lighter knowing that we can subtract ability to see from the challenges he faces! When we got home he asked for an orange because Dr.Koon told him eating fruit and vegetables were important for his eyes. He said "I'm going to take good care of my eyes!" It had been a number of years since my last eye exam and I had several questions and a few concerns that she tested for and answered to my satisfaction. The staff was friendly and helpful in my selection of eye frames. Dr. Koon offers a wide selection of eye wear and frames in different colors and styles. It was a clean and beautiful space with helpful, polite and caring staff. I received my glasses quickly after placing the order too.
