Broiled Walleye, deep fried frog legs, & sweet potato fries
    Terry M.

Dinner on the patio at Webber's with a friend. I was adventurous and tried frog legs for the first time. It's true, they taste much like chicken just more juicy. The broiled Walleye and sweet potato fries were also excellent! I forgot to take a "before" photo, so that's a mid-meal photo. Trust me, the only thing left on my plate was lemon rinds and frog leg bones!

biggest fried clam we've ever seen. delicous

As a kid, my grandmother would talk of growing up in Point Place and visiting Webber's fondly. As a young adult, I always associated Webber's with old people and avoided it like the plague. As their neighboring River Cafe closed, we realized we needed a new Ottawa river fix and revisited Webber's as actual adults. We're glad we did. Sitting outside at the bar, the (fried) food was good, the atmosphere was welcoming and the bartender was fantastic. Take note, while I was looked upon as crazy for the request, they WILL add cajun seasoning to any items on the menu. Also, the clam strips are the biggest we've ever experienced in the best way possible. We will be back for more. Net time we'll grab a table as the bar crowd can be a little suspect. (no offense or judgement made with that statement)

$16 bucks English Fish & Chips. What a joke.

How do I make a reservation? No one answers phone?

You don't. And you're right, they never answer the phone. I would suggest going to the restaurant next-door. Webbers has twice done a terrible job for me and I'll never go back.

The current tenants are serving up a mixed bag of southern fare, burgers and a bit of soul food along the way. Sadly today, the one thing they were out of was the one thing I came in for... the gumbo. Long story short, I will be back because I've heard it's really good. As for the burgers? Super fresh with a home cooking vibe. The fries? Cooked to order with skins on and really great! I added cheese and recommend you do as well. To note: their menu is super limited in addition to their "daily" specials, but it looks like their "daily" specials might be available all the time. Also note: beverage offerings are super limited. No tea or coffee. Just canned soda and bottled water. Next visit, I'm going to hopefully try that gumbo... and maybe some fried fish. Hoping this small joint succeeds, as it adds a missing element to downtown Toledo. Super friendly staff and great prices. This is not fancy food, it's just good food.

I didn't request chicken or anything on it as I didn't want to spend the extra money (or have the company pay extra, more precisely). Our orders were called in and I didn't think anything further of it. When the order arrived, the staff handed out containers of food. I waited and waited and waited. At the end, there was an extra grilled chicken salad (what I would have ordered if I really got what I wanted) - and they handed it to me. YAY! The salad was much like a cobb - with some mixed greens in addition to iceberg lettuce. There was some cheddar, cukes, egg, cut up chicken breast and more. It came with dressing, but I do eat my salads dry. There was enough stuff on it that I really didn't miss having a dressing (I do like oil and vinegar - but again, wouldn't get that on an order being delivered in). Was the salad the best ever? No. But considering I had packed fruit and assume they would bring in something I don't eat, I was quite happy and enjoyed my lunch. I would definitely order this again so I return and be given the same menu options.

From the outside, the building doesn't exactly scream "5-star seafood" -- I think it may have been an old Pizza Hut -- but don't let that fool you. Inside, it's cute, a little kitschy, and most importantly, clean!! There wasn't any type of fishy smell at all! The husband-and-wife owners are absolutely working their tails off, and it shows. The service was warm, attentive, and truly top-notch. You can feel how much pride they take in what they do. We each ordered crab boils and didn't leave a single thing in the bag -- every bite was incredible! Some of the most delicious seafood I've ever had. I almost hesitate to share this hidden gem because I selfishly want it all to myself, but they deserve every bit of recognition. We can't wait to go back and are definitely adding this spot into our regular restaurant rotation!

Tasty cheese selections and a generous amount of bread and crackers. Their cocktails are ON POINT. The Pep in Your Step blended the mezcal flavor wonderfully. The Nightshade Martini was one of the most unique cocktails I've ever had. I enjoyed my pasta, though I had wanted to order a seafood dish and they were out of mussels. Definitely a bit of a bummer. I remember the beans in the smoked duck dish being especially good. My one complaint about this place is the menu seems to feel similar each time I'm there (months to years between visits). Like there's always a similar fish dish and a curry. I guess I just wish there were different options because the menu is relatively small. Excited to return for another visit in the future and would like to try their lunch offering as well!

OMG these sautéed garden veggies were the best! The other main was a Japanese curry dish. Here is why the five starting dropped to a four. It was just ok. We would not order again. For dessert we had the bread pudding- another star for the night! To the owner, terrific staff. Everyone we engaged in, were positive and knowledgeable. They are a great team! Looking forward to a second visit!

It's in the town center at Levis commons which is a nicer outdoor mall located in Toledo. It's buried in the back of the complex near a morgan stanley place and a hotel. Not hard to find if you have an idea of where you're going. Walking in, you have to walk up a flight of stairs and I'm not sure of they have an elevator or not. The main area where you hang out in is a bar and an arcade. It has a bar area with a decent amount of seating. When the doors open, you can walk into the stage area which is actually pretty nice. There is a 2 item minimum to purchase when here. The foods decently priced, but the alcohol is not. I'm not so much of a drinker so that was fine. They also add an automatic 18% gratuity to each bill, fyi. You can pay cash or card, so that's a bonus. I did have two issues when I was here, and the staff handled it wonderfully. The first was they sat me at a table where it was hard for me to see the stage, and I can't say I was a fan. After debating it for a while, I asked the hostess if I could be re-seated at a different location since I wasn't thrilled about it. They were kind enough to put me at a different table which really made a difference. The second issue was after I ordered my required food, the Sprite I ordered tasted funny. I spoke to the waitress and informed her of this and she brought out a new Sprite from a different machine. This one was much better so that helped out as well. Speaking of food, I went with the artichoke and spinach dip with chips, which was actually pretty good. Larger serving size and not half bad. They had what seemed like plenty of servers here, so people were getting their food and drinks in a timely fashion. The show ran on time, and they also have a security guard here in case anyone gets rowdy. Who wants a rowdy heckler? Not me! I really enjoyed my time here and would return in the future for other events.
