This is easily the best pizza east of the river, and quite possibly, depending upon your taste, some of the best pizza in town. I'm not going to go so far as to call Guy a pizza artisan, but these pies are just about as hand crafted as is practical. The dough and sauce are made from scratch, and very well made they are. He doesn't make his own cheese, but the cheese blend is a menage a trois that includes both of the usual suspects...and munster...unique and delicious. Even some of the toppings, such as the Italian sausage (?!) and the meatballs are made in house. Considering this is a small, family East Toledo joint, this fact is impressive, and the taste is even more impressive. The pizza sauce and cheese are usually perfect, in both volume and flavor. Topping are copious, and all thicknesses of crust are finished to perfection in the stone lined oven. If you're avoiding carbs, try the Italian salad.
