I had a great experience here when I had my son's first birthday! Brad was super accommodating and made sure I knew all the options available for food. Our waitress was AMAZING and made sure everyone was super happy, had their drinks re-filled, and checked with me to see if I needed anything or if the birthday boy needed anything. Our group decided to go to Doolittles for our monthly get together, there was twenty four of us. We had one waitress for everything who I must say did a phenomenal job. From our drink orders to our entrees she was on top of her game. We had a variety of dishes which we all enjoyed for the most part. One person did not receive his fish dinner until the rest of us were almost through. Really no reason given why it took so long. Now the three stars, food wise this is just not someplace that I personally would go out of the way for. The food isn't bad at all, it's just not nothing special. Large selection in menu but basically it's just bar food. A higher level of presentation could help very much. read more

We like this place it's a good place to escape the craziness of Monroe Street. They have good food, good drinks, good prices and good people. Here's something else... in these inflationary times their prices have not gone through the roof and there are no surprising surcharges on your bill for kitchen people, and trash taker outers and miscellaneous people and just unexpected stuff. This place is horrible when it comes to Togo orders. I've been using them for a while with numerous times getting home and find not having what I ordered. Entered the restaurant around 2pm, there was roughly 9 to 10 people inside and 4 of them were sitting at the bar only drinking, after being seated my date and I waited 20 minutes to be greeted by a waitress who took our drink orders, then forgot to get the drinks, on top of that we had to wait an 1HOUR and 10 minutes for some mediocre pizza and a chicken wrap that was more like a salad in a tortilla shell! My main point, if you wanna wait 2 hours for food not with your money go here! The waitress was disinterested and the food was crap, save your time and go somewhere else, not the first time they have given bad service, but it's definitely the last time I'll be there! read more

We used Doolittles to host a spaghetti dinner benefit for our friend, and they helped make our event a success. Brad and all of the wait staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the event, and the kitchen staff did a great job keeping our plates full. Everyone was very accommodating to our needs, from dietary restrictions, to extra tables, to letting us invade the entire restaurant during their normal dining hours. My wife and I usually order to-go and eat at home but decided to dine-in tonight. As usual the food was great! My wife had the ribs and said that they were amazing. I had the buffalo chicken wrap and I have the say that their sauce is very tasty and the ranch is awesome ( I usually judge restaurants based on their ranch lol) the experience was great, staff was very nice and attentive and the atmosphere was nice and quiet (I must be getting old, I don't like loud sports bars any more). We went last night on a Friday night, service was great til we recieved our food, I ordered a burger & got onion rings I knew it would be a upcharge for them but I only got 4 onion rings! The surf & turf one of us ordered was the thinnest piece of steak I've ever seen! The side of fries on one of our meals Was less than a handful! & the appetizer was messed up twice! Asked for water never got any, ordered an appetizer, it seemed like our server forgot about it because when it came out a half hour later the fried mushrooms were cold and mushy. We stopped in last night because we were nearby and had never been....I thought it was very good, I got potato soup, which was just a regular potato soup but tasted great and chicken chunks which were great, big pieces of mushrooms and bacon (not bacon bits), and lots cheese. I stopped here on a whim. I saw they had a perch sandwich, and as a perch lover I had to bite. There was so little perch in the thing that I was still quite hungry after I finished it and the limp fries. My family had complaints too, and there should have been one more piece of fish on there, but it matters not to me as I won't be back. read more

As restaurants go, it is middle of the road. We have eaten here many times because it is close and often has a band.. If it wasn't for those two reasons, we would be elsewhere.. Bar is pretty good though with cold beer and reasonable drinks. Mostly, we try to eat elsewhere and stop by for the music. I suspect they use a lot of prepared and frozen food... Trouble is it is too expensive for the quality of food served. read more

Service is poor and super slow....ask for drinks they never came, couldn't even get silverware or a glass of water, we finally helped ourselves. And had to go to the bar for drinks. Food was cold and wrong! Then one each persons dinner came out 10-15 minutes after the next. Everyone was dine eating and my food still hadn't arrived! Years ago this place used to be great. I found this place last Wednesday evening when i had a limited amount of time to go and eat. They were advertising "Taco Night" 3 for $4.50- i honestly wasn't expecting to get much for that price point. But BOY WAS I WRONG!! They were probably the largest sized tacos I had ever gotten at a restaurant, I got to choose the meat & type of shell, which normally- you get what you get for $4.50. They were so good!! I sat at the bar and the server was very nice & welcoming, i was served with my drink & order taken very quickly. My food was out very fast too. My time limit wasn't an issue at all!! The atmosphere was fun and friendly- not too loud or "barish". Very clean well kept place. I wouldn't hesitate to take my entire family or a large group. Went in there with my mother and her friend for breakfast, and right before the waitress brought the check, she kneeled down beside our table and said to my mom and her friend that because they come in there at least 3 times a week, that they don't order enough and they don't tip enough and the other waitresses don't want to wait on them for that reason. She even was complaining that bills need to be paid and gas in their cars and how they live on tips! Well guess what, when you have two elderly ladies that have lived in Bedford for years, and come in your restaurant for an egg, toast, and coffee and the bill is probably less than $5.00, I think a $2-3.00 tip is plenty. Maybe your rude waitress needs to find another job!!!. I wanted my mom to ask for a manager, but she just said" no", We just will not come in here anymore. Good Job doolittles! Lost our business! Today was not a good day! This is one of my favorite spots, so today being my B-day work friends asked me where would I like to order lunch of course I said Doolittle's. We ordered, picked up our food...we were very disappointed with our order. The Doo's chicken sandwich was dry, dry, dry and tough... same was true about the grilled chicken in the BBQ chicken salad special...the order of sliders buns were toasted like a crouton... Fries were clearly cooked in old old oil...good news the homemade chips were amazingly good.
