We ordered an XL pizza with mushrooms and the mushrooms had a delicious flavor to them. They might have been sauteed before baking the pizza but can tell you that it was an amazing pizza. This isn't a chain pizzeria so I don't think they offer coupons or discount codes. An XL pizza with mushrooms was around $20 before tip (and you don't have to tip but I like to because I appreciate servers even though people complain about tipping culture). Considering the quality of the pizza, I think it's a bargain. It's the best pizza in the area in my opinion. Check it out!

So glad I did, as the Alfredo sauce was like a very watery soup. Also, the entire entree' was lukewarm. Our server immediately took it back and returned with a much thicker and delicious Alfredo sauce and warmer entree'. Kudos to our server who re-maid the sauce himself! While I didn't mention anything about the noodles, they weren't very soft- not al dente', but a texture that was sort of rubbery as if pre-made- but were much better with new Alfredo sauce and warmed up chicken with the fettuccine. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and personable. No issues at all with the service; in fact, it was excellent. My friend took home the leftovers of pepperoni pizza, and it was a generous portion. As for my Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, I ate out the chicken, which was perfectly grilled and delicious. I didn't want to take home the remaining fettuccine or sauce. While the re-maid sauce was delicious, the fettuccine noodles were a texture not to my liking. My overall rating is 4 stars based on the above comments. In the past (a number of years back), I had enjoyed the Chicken Caprese entree and would likely order it again next time. I would return to this restaurant and recommend it with caution as to what to order. Overall, it was a nice experience on a chilly night in Michigan.

In picking up the pizzas, the person at the counter was pleasant as she rang up the order. I was surprised to see some random flies that I shoed away and tried to dismiss the possibility that they were also back in the kitchen area. But realistically?!! Ugh. The pepperoni pizza (photo below) was super greasy as you can see from the box. Plus, the person who ate it said it was super salty and very little cheese. I fared better with the mushroom pizza but it wasn't great. There was enough cheese in the middle but very scant towards the edges and not much sauce. The pepperoni pizza remains went in the garbage because it couldn't be salvaged and no use making anyone ill with another meal. This place is hit or miss. Unfortunately, can't recommend. Also, I asked if their refried beans were made with lard and I was assured they were vegetarian. If I hadn't seen so many positive reviews on Yelp, I wouldn't have known to check out this spot, but would encourage you to try it too for high quality, authentic Mexican cuisine! EDIT/UPDATE: I tried one of the shrimp tacos that my mom left in the fridge. OMG, it was super spicy to the point of giving me hiccups. Plus, the spiciness seemed to come from a creamy cheese sauce added to the shrimp tacos after they were cooked. I can understand why my mom wouldn't crave them and I would never order them myself. Based on your personal preference for spiciness, let this give you an idea of the level of spiciness that could be added to your food unless you request your dish to be less spicy.
