In today's economy it is really hard to find an affordable place to eat especially with kids and this place was not only affordable but good. for 3 adults and 2 kids 5 and 4 it was $48 and that's all you can eat! I wish I took a pic of the pricing board but I believe kids 3-5 was $6 , kids 6-10 was $8 and adults were $12. Then it said mondays kids under 5 were free! I just tried this place today for the first time. To be fair, I just found out they exist yesterday. Pizza was good. Reminds me of one of the cheap pizza places I frequent in NYC. I enjoy the cheap place, and I enjoy this pizza too. The ratio of cheese and sauce along with the chewy yet crispy crust was perfect for me. We had the buffet. Pizza was brought out hot and fresh, and seeing as there were a lack of customers, also small. I don't blame them for not wanting to waste pizza. This is our go to pizza place. They are always friendly! The food is good. My only thing is not enough sauce and it is a really flavorful sauce, so we always request extra. They are on time, no issues with any order they've always been correct, and again the friendly staff is the best part. Great for kids and a tired parent needing good, quick food. Perfect for the price. The staff that was there were super nice and friendly. That's always a positive in my books. They were welcoming and helpful. They smiled and were polite. Cleanliness: the place was ok. None of the tables were cleaned the whole time we were there. Three tables were left as is. Also the bathrooms were a mess. The kind that you'd rather avoid. Food: the pizza was ok. Did not have enough cheese (even the extra cheese). The toppings were fresh so that's a place. Crust was more on the thinner side. Was baked perfectly. Had just enough of a chew to make it enjoyable. The buffet was not bad either. Nothing spectacular. Had a bit of salad and several different pizzas including dessert pizzas. They kept up with the crowd and catered to the customers needs. Price: On Mondays their large one topping is $6. Which to me is a great price. That is what we ended up getting, would have been cheaper than the buffet. I would definitely come back here again. Maybe no often though. Saw a billboard for this place while out driving today and decided to stop in for lunch. How we've never seen or been to Pizza Primo before is a mystery to me! We drive by it all the time! I'd call this a hidden gem of a place! VERY well priced! When we first got in, the cashier asked us if there was anything in particular we would like on the buffet. Love that they tailor their buffet to their customers! :) The pizza was very good! The crust was both crunchy and chewy & the tomato sauce was not too sweet. They also have plenty of non-red sauce pizza options. The buffet has a very nice little make your own salad, which I definitely appreciate! My husband absolutely loved the dessert Oreo Pizza. He never eats desserts and he went up for second dessert! Lol! Overall, definitely a place we will return to and we will recommend to family and friends! :) read more

The pizza is mediocre, at best. It is only marginally better than a frozen grocery store pizza. They have a Tuesday special, during which they advertise that any second pizza of the same or lesser price free. That sounds good until you actually try to place an order. Then, the rules suddenly change. It is no longer ANY pizza as the website clearly states. No, when you go to place an order, you are faced with, oh that's not included. "Huh, the website says ANY pizza on the website". Their response, "The website is wrong". Weeks later, I saw that the website still said buy ANY pizza and get a second pizza of equal or lesser value free. I called again and. Was told again that the website is wrong. I saw their advertisement again a few weeks later and, out of curiosity, called again. Again, they said that the website is wrong. Then the kid on the phone rudely announces to me "We've had this conversation before." We certainly had. Over a span of two months or longer, they advertised one thing but change the rules when someone calls to take advantage of the deal. Seriously, the pizza isn't all that good to be good anyway. Nice little pizza buffet. Affordable. They are courteous and accommodating. They'll make whatever type pizza you request. Have a small salad offering for people who want it. They also have take out and make dessert pizzas. Local decor catoring to the community. There is plenty of room, the tables aren't on top of each other. Nice atmosphere. We read all the reviews and thought we would give it a try. We left feeling disappointed not because the pizza was bad but because it didn't live up to the hype of other reviewers. After the pizza cooled for less than 10 minutes the crust became very chewy like day old pizza warmed up in the microwave. We had the BBQ chicken and supreme. The toppings seemed like they were nothing more than cheap frozen stuff you might find at Gordon's Foods. The pineapple was absolutely lifeless. I took my young daughter to Pizza Primo for the dinner buffet last Friday. We don't live in Michigan but we love a good pizza buffet and it was recommended to us. I was very impressed with the variety of pizzas they had on the buffet. They even asked me if there was anything special I would like them to make. My daughter, who is very picky, also liked it. Her favorite was the garlic cheeses bread. The pizzas are finished with a light garlic glaze on the crust which was very tasty. The only complaint I had was the salad. It was very rubbery and squeaked in your teeth as it was chewed. The dressings and toppings were very good though. I was also glad they served Coke products! FYI, you order and pay at the counter for the buffet and seat yourself. There is no wait staff and everything, including soft drinks, are self serve. They have two big televisions on the wall. A friend and I seen a billboard about a pizza buffet for $7 dollars, and so we decided to do lunch, it was just up the road from Alexis/Jackman in Toledo. We got in there during the lunch crowd so it was crowded "a good sign in my book" anyway we went in and were greeted right away and we were asked what type of pizza we wanted to see on the buffet if it wasn't on it already so we ordered from there menu, I ordered the bbq Hawaiian and my friend ordered the chicken bacon, they were really pumping out the pizzas in the back, it was quite busy, but still were able to keep up with the demand. Went in for the pizza buffet for lunch, had stopped in a few months ago and was disappointed, thought was to give it another try. Today was even worst then last visit. They had a sign up on register that said no salad with buffet, (don't know why) but was charged normal price, they could have knocked a little off the price, as that left only pizza and luke warm mac and cheese on the buffet. The pizza selection was very poor as the pies looked like they had been out a while, they stuck a fresh pizza out which was tasty. It is too bad, as earlier this year it was much better and a regular stop for our office lunch rotation, will probably not be back. read more

The staff are standard young kids making a couple bucks and a few middle aged people, customer service is mediocre. The place doesn't feel particularly clean or dirty. The staff and owner don't do anything to make me feel welcome aside from throwing the local high schools logo quite mediocrely onto the wall when you first enter which feels like a desperate attempt to establish some sense of small town camaraderie. The logo looks much better than the actual pizza primo logo, which isn't saying much. They also have thrown up two decent sized hd tvs up against one wall which is a cheap attempt to give the atmosphere a sense of mild energy while portraying a family friendly atmosphere by having one of the tvs dedicated to cartoons. There doesn't seem to be a real sense of organization or any true attention to detail in the entire place. This apathetic approach to the vibe of the location translates well into the food. There are many types of different specialty pizzas ranging from Chicago style pizza to thin crust taco pizza, types of pizza you've seen available at other restaurants. Pizza primo doesn't do any of them better than your favorite local pie joint. It is budget pizza with a budget taste with a small following of local supporters. If you're looking for a unique dining experience or a good taste of the local pizza offering, this isn't the place. This place seems to only exist as to fill in the gap of second fiddle budget pizza next to Little Caesars since Tiffany's pizza has left town. They do however attempt a multitude more offerings(than Little Caesars), which have become popular buzz dishes since many corners in cities have become riddled with the local wing restaurant, namely Greek salads, wings and sandwiches. You'll find these offerings just as mediocre as the pizza. The only time I would recommend this restaurant is if you're in an extreme time crunch and can't travel to your favorite deep dish pizza joint, or thin crust pizza join, for example. Pizza Primo will get you a fraction of the taste for a fraction of the cost, all while giving you just as a mediocre experience as their website is designed. read more

I just went to the buffet here around 2pm, so a late lunch. Most of the staff was eating a late lunch as well, but the employee working behind the counter took my money ( $7 for a buffet and fountain drink isn't bad), he asked me if I wanted to make a specific pizza which in my case was chicken bacon ranch. The employee not too long after had that pizza at the buffet. The pizza itself is worth the money, so don't expect the best in the world: it's a bit greasy.
