I had a this company come fix my ac unit... the first time it costs 2500 than the fix didn't work, so they come out again, and tell me I need a a whole new unit which would have a 5 year warranty. So I bought it for 13000 and then then the next summer after it was checked, it went out again. It turns out that the original coolant line was leaking.. leaked all the coolant out.. so the whole time my unit had this small leak that they say they didn't replace and charged me for the coolant. The whole time I believe this was the issue. Didn't need a whole new unit at all. Also they didn't stand by the new air conditioner warranty even though i paid for a total replacement.. the manager also threatened to come visit my house and was being verbally combative. read more

Folks just charge retail for the filters, no mark-up. Trip charge legit added on, so it's an efficient and effective way to keep my AC running in good shape. I just want to be clear that this review applies to all valley locations. It is not specific to this location. There are three locations shown on Yelp but all share the same website. We have been looking for a new HVAC maintenance company. We have been disappointed in the upselling our current "family plan" company has been giving. We tried multiple companies and this was by far the best. We signed up for their free tuneup offered at the fall home show. The techs called 20 minutes ahead to let me know his arrival time. Upon arrival he put on shoe covers and came in to get a look at the system and understand where all of the thermostats and other components were. He was very respectful of our property and quite friendly. He did the outside work first per my request. My wife was still in bed. When finished with that he came in and quietly did the evaporators in the attic. By that time my wife had gotten up. He explained that our outdoor system was fine, and that he cleaned the coils which none of the others even offered to do. He pointed out the couple of things on the evaporators that others had all noted - one being the lack of a water level shut off on the drain tray, and the other being that there was minor amounts of dust in the ducts - neither requiring any urgent attention. He went over their maintenance plan, but it was an annual plan rather than monthly. Over a 3 year period it is cheaper than our current plan. We definitely feel that this company was more honest and less pushing their maintenance techs into making sales during their inspections. I definitely feel comfortable with this company. read more

Installation failed due to outright incompetence. The installers shorted the wiring, causing sparks and an actual fire. The correct fix was straightforward: replace the damaged wire and properly reconnect the units. Because of the home's layout, this required cutting a channel for the new wire - a bit of work, but absolutely the right, safe, and professional solution. Instead, the owner chose a shortcut: installing a Bluetooth unit rather than doing the proper hard wired connection. Bluetooth is a temporary workaround at best - less reliable, less safe, and never intended to replace a physical wire connection. I agreed to it only as a short-term fix so I could get my system running. To ensure the repair was done safely and correctly, I offered to have a licensed electrician cut the channel for the wire replacement. I then asked the company if they would be willing to return and run the new wire at no cost, since they destroyed the original wire. They refused, claiming they would charge me because they were "covering the cost" of the Bluetooth unit - a unit that costs far less, in both money and effort, than fixing the problem the proper way. Adding insult to injury, they're now struggling to install even the Bluetooth workaround, showing the same lack of skill and competence as the original installation team. Because of their negligence, I've been without AC for two days. The temperature inside my home has reached 90°F, forcing my family and pets to stay at a neighbor's house just to remain safe. In Arizona, going without AC isn't a minor inconvenience -- it's a genuine health and safety risk. On top of that, I've had to take additional time away from work, and I will now have to pay out of pocket to get the correct fix done - a cost I would never have faced if they hadn't caused the damage in the first place. I should be restored to the original hard wired condition -- like for like -- not downgraded to a less reliable solution. Their incompetence created this entire situation, and they refuse to take responsibility for any of it. read more

Tech was pleasant, but I checked the cost of part and estimated cost for this area labor/install. Should have been $200-$300, $350 for emergency. They claim they don't charge extra for weekends. I was charged $550 for a 15-20 minute fix for a part that is $75 on line for a premium brand. I won't be using them again. I hope there are fair company's out there. read more

I texted Mike late the other day on Sunday for a favor. I needed a run capacitor changed out but it was late evening on Sunday. As a solid he came and dropped it off for me early Monday morning at 4:30 AM on the house. I couldn't thank him enough for it. Air conditioning went out late on Monday. I called We Fix it at 8:00 PM to leave a Message, but actually talked to a gentleman who set up an appt for Tues AM between 5 and 9 AM. Drew arrived around 8: 00 and found the motor was not working. We had the option to replace the motor or ? Our unit was over 13 years old and out of warranty. We also had several other repairs the last 2 years, so we opted to purchase a new heat pump. Drew was very helpful in explaining the different models and options available. We decided on one and he scheduled delivery and install for Weds AM. CJ was the installer on Weds and he too, did an awesome Job. I recommend We Fix It ! My husband and I have been with this company for several years. They first installed a new AC unit for us and have been coming to our home every year for annual AC and heating inspections. Most recently, we needed help with our water heater. Robert came to our home and inspected it thoroughly. We learned that we had a lot of sediment inside the tank and he discussed options with us. My husband and I decided to purchase a new unit and they installed it the same day. We have always been extremely pleased with the quality of the service we receive and the timeliness with scheduling appointments. These guys are absolute life savers. Of course my AC picked summer time to start acting up. Called these guys right away because they've built quite the reputation in the valley. Multiple friends recommended them and THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Drew was the technician/installer that came out. He was freaking awesome. Very disappointed with this service. The technician did not complete the job and insisted I replace my compressor, saying my unit would stop working in a few days. He even refused to put the compressor back on until I insisted. On top of that, he never cleaned out the condenser line, blaming it on the water holes. This was unprofessional, incomplete work, and I would not recommend this company. read more

Got a new ac from them last summer. Tech who sold me it was great. Install was a mess left cigarette butts, brazing materials and wire remnants outside and in attic. Tech who sold me the unit came back cleaned up a bit. Fast forward to this summer my safety switch keeps triggering no big deal. I noticed my power bill doubled from one month to the other. I went to change my filter in the attic and the tech that was out a few weeks before to fix the safety switch left a panel open so my unit was cooling my attic. Called the company but never heard back after the gentleman I spoke to said that they would reach out to me for a remedy. Its hard to not feel cheated after being treated like this and left hanging. read more

The service was outstanding. Jeremy and Ralph were great. 110 degrees outside, ad they still had great attitude and work ethic. They even repositioned my unit when I asked! Would recommend them to anyone. The only negative was the price. I paid 13000 for a unit replacement, it was an Amana unit 3 ton split gas unit. When I researched it was a little high, but they were fast. Didn't even go 24 hours without ac. :) But if you live in San tan valley , and you want something fixxed fast. I was pleased with Jacob's diagnosis and felt that he was honest and willing to accommodate what was financially convenient for me. He was mindful not to let my door opening kitty outside, latching the lock each time he was in and out. I paid for an acid wash to sustain my unit for a bit longer. Jacob finished the job and I thought he'd left, but he returned to my front door offering to provide me with their 1 year service plan at no cost to me. Shortly there after the no charge service plan was sent in an email for me to accept. In my opinion, that's good customer service. I will make this company my go to for HVAC services! read more

I definitely would not recommend this company. I am a huge review person and with all the excellent reviews I thought I was getting a good reliable company. My AC went out and I called the "experts" to come fix it. They stated it was dirty and it needed power washing. $400. So you trust them... well that didn't even last an hour. Called them back cause the problem wasn't fixed and bam now I need a whole new AC unit. Oh even though they took money from me and didn't fix the issue if I use them for a new AC they will use the money towards that. Wow. What a good sales tactic. My AC is still out and I'm out $400. We had a bunch of people in and out of our house over the weekend. Sunday afternoon (one of the hottest days of the year) we realized our A/C was not working properly and the temperature was rising. I called my realtor for a referral and she recommended Mike and the team at We Fix It. I called Mike and he answered the phone. He said his team was booked but he could have someone to my house between 5AM and 9AM Monday morning. I totally understood that A/C people were swamped with the heat wave. I gave Mike my address. About 20 minutes later Mike (who is the owner), called me back and said he was running to another job in Queen Creek. Mike said he could swing by my house to at least diagnose the problem. I said great. 20 minutes later Mike came in. We walked out to the outdoor unit. Mike quickly opened it up explained what was wrong. It was one part that failed and he went out to his truck and swapped the part. By the time we walked back into the house the AC was coming back to life. I can't recommend Mike and We Fix it highly enough. Mike was fast, super friendly and reasonably priced. Mike also went above and beyond! read more
