Needed a new A/C unit installed because dog had been urinating on the previous outdoor system. Spoke with Jason who was able to get me a reasonable quote for a new unit installed. They were very patient and listened to my concerns as I had just been ripped off by a different competing place who had been out three times including charging us for coolant when it was spot on obvious there was corrosion and a leak (I do not recommend Simply The Best). Jason provided the quote and the install was done within a few days which is excellent response time considering I was in a jam and summer is here. Installers were very professional and even had the job done under the quoted time frame and did preventative maintenance on the other existing unit. Recommended. I needed to replace my 20 year old ac split system. I was referred to a friends son that did these kinds of jobs. Once I received the quote with a supposed discount I was not happy and the information I received did not sound right to me, I did not feel comfortable at all. Doug came and recharged one of my units that was desperately low. You can tell he has a passion for what he does. He was so happy when his thermometer readings got where he wanted them to be. Our 16 year old Lennox ac unit stopped blowing cold air on Saturday. After going thru the hassle of calling and emailing companies, I settled on an appointment with Parker & sons for the following Monday. I didn't realize how bad the reviews were till I checked Yelp. I cancelled my appointment with them. After checking Yelp, and reading every review on Jason and Northern Air, I called and Jason was able to make it out Monday at 3pm. Let me say, I am relieved that Jason was able to come out. He quickly diagnosed the problem as low Freon and a possible leak in the case coil. He explained how these things happen, and knowing a little bit about hvac myself, I understood everything he was saying. He suggested putting Freon in it for now to save some money till we see what happens with the possible sale of our house and gave me options for replacing the unit which were very reasonable in prices. He did not try to up sell me. I will definitely be calling Jason back again to replace the unit should I keep this house and I will use Northern Air no matter where my next house in the valley will be. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! My air conditioner went out one evening so I called a few companies to help fix it. Northern Air was able to schedule a visit early the next morning. So I only had to handle one night without a working AC. Tiffany was great on the phone and answered all my questions. They arrived and told me my unit had blown a fuse and they fixed it. When they arrived, I asked if they could service and tune up the unit for the summer since I had not done that this year. Overall, they were great. When the job was completed he showed me the bill explaining every charge on the invoice. Which gave me peace of mind because so many don't explain, they just give a total and ask for a card. Northern Air is awesome and I would highly recommend them. I own a rental property in the area and the air conditioning unit has been giving me problems. The property management sent their preferred vendor to fix the problem but a week later, it broke again. The vendor was going to charge me another ridiculous amount and it did not seem right to me. I looked on Yelp in hopes of getting a 2nd opinion and found all the great reviews about Northern Air. I decided to call them and spoke to Tiffany who was super nice and stated she could send Jason to diagnose the problem on the same day.
