This is my first time using a duck cleaning service. I had expected them to arrive between 1030 and 11 and it wasn't till just after 12 until they got to my house.I had called to have them clean and service my dryer vent, my wife and I did it ourselves and we are pretty sure we screwed it up and possibly tore the vent inside the wall leading up to the roof. When the team arrived I told them my story and they got right to work, One member stayed inside the garage and checked for airflow and another member climbed up into the attic space to inspect the connection. So, I bought a washer/dryer which stopped working after a couple of loads with a message "check vent". I had an appliance repairman stop out and he said it was the dryer duct. True Review Start to Finish (not related or friends of) Request appt by internet - The call back was prompt next day to set an appt. Quote $35 per vent and same for the return, 6 total. I had called back with a question about the "summer discount" listed on the web site and received a somewhat rude response man said "the truck doesn't move for less than $250 there is no discount". Regardless, I had asked for a call before my appt which I did not get. Two young men showed up on time and were very nice 7:20 AM. Service - Their equipment used was very delicately handled. The rubber strands on the end of the vac looked extremely used and broken compared to the new one that was under the hose around the system, the vacs electrical cord was taped around the outlet as it may have shorted at some time. My concern for the boys coughing was they did not wear air masks and I was told they get taken all the time. Pictures were taken of the before cleaning but I never did get to see any of the after pictures. The hose was sent through the vents a few feet some debris was falling out and they did clean it up afterwards. End - removed all the equipment and asked for payment. BUT WAIT, what about the sanitizer and fresh scent? Bringing in another pc of equipment with a short hose. I asked to see what was being sprayed out as I didn't see or smell a thing. After a quick adjustment on the wand I then saw a very weak mist, it was put up only a few inches in only the two returns and adjusted again? I can tell a can of Lysol would be much stronger and just as well a better option to smell something other than air. Final Paid my bill $209,they left a card and a polite goodbye. The boys were very nice but as for my vents? Eh.... Two of the four vents were put on backwards blowing up at the ceiling which I now have to change. I still don't smell anything and if I could add the picture they were not cleaned they are still dirty. I gave two stars only for the fact that the two boys were polite and clean. Ive had the ducts cleaned before off a junk mail add and got to see the dirt out of the vents for LESS THAN HALF what I paid without the rude comment over the initial appt. that my house would not net over $250 charge and forget about the "summer special" ""THE TRUCK DONT MOVE FOR LESS THAN $250"" Sorry but to much for to little. read more

Faster and better than the national chains on television. I called at 11:00am and the work was done by 1:30pm. the vent was 80% blocked; 15 minutes later 0% blocked (fantastic). I appreciate the person that answered the phone but I apologize I don't remember her name. Back to the the National chains: they won't give you a price without an inspection, then wait 24 hours for email quote, then schedule the work after that for a job that takes 1/4 of an hour? I had my air ducts and dryer vent cleaned. The two technician wore booties and covered areas beneath the vents. I am sensitive to chemicals and had a concern about the Envirocon sanitizer. I said I would prefer not to use it. They let me smell it and it does not have a strong odor. Since the main intake duct was very dirty, I told them to use the sanitizer on all ducts. They also use simple green to wipe down vents. Those products did not cause me to have a reaction. I would definitely use them again. They were very courteous and friendly. They don't upsell, but rather just quote you an inclusive price, which I prefer. read more
