Had a service appointment with Isaac. He did a diagnostic check and provided me with photo and video evidence of all areas of concern. We sat down to discuss options for repair and replacement. Isaac was professional and courteous. Ultimately went with another company for replacement but the experience with Isaac and Superior was great. read more

Disappointed in the service & efforts to upcharge. I live in a new home.(5 years old) and what should've been a simple fix.. simply replacing a capacitor for a couple hundred dollars, turned into a $2500-$3000 quote. None of it was necessary. After having the capacitor replaced, the air conditioning started working fine again, but one of the zones in our home stopped working. You can no longer control the downstairs bedroom with the wall thermostat in that room. We've had to keep that one off And let the thermostat in the other room control the downstairs area. I called back to let them know that whatever the work they did created an additional problem. They scheduled to have the same technician come out.(Andrew). He called me to ask what was going on and I let him know what was going on and he became very defensive and said it was a coincidence that when he came and messed with everything that the other zone was no longer working. Claimed there's no way that he damages the zones. I told him it definitely wasn't a coincidence and we've never had that issue until he finished his work. He said if he had to come back out, he's gonna charge me another service fee & additional fees to fix it. I let him know to not bother coming. We'll just go with a company that stands behind their work. read more

My AC in the Chandler rental was down. My regular guy was out of town. I gave these guys a try after reviews and they were in Chandler. And after all I was looking for a new ACguy. Upfront, they wanted $89 for diagnostic/trip charge and WILL NOT waive the charge If you end up going with them. When the guy got there, he said the fuses are out. So before any diagnostic, he needs to replace a fuses and repair some wires which is like $260. After that he It says he needs to install a hard start capacitor kit $400 or the unit won't start. So looking like $775 total. At that point, I felt that these prices are a bit on the high side. Hard start kit is like $50 in materials and 3 wires to hookup. I know this well cuz I repair my own AC at my own house. I called the office and they suddenly said the hard start kit was optional. Not sure if it's just me or these guys are on the pricier side. read more

Andrew G came out promptly, completely checked out my unit, cleaned it and performed required maintenance. He was efficient, honest and professional. He even vacuumed below the access area in case any insulation dust fell. Call this company, you'll be glad you did. Jim P, Chandler read more

Some confusion with the appointment on the day scheduled. Apparently, the tech who was supposed to show up couldn't make it, so they wanted to schedule when I already had another company scheduled. So they contacted me to say that "Jorge" would be coming to the house. I found him to be arrogant, especially when I made it clear that I would not be making a "conduit" between the two bedrooms. It was like I didn't say anything at all. Then, when he quoted me $6345.25, I told him that he was WAY out of the ballpark, and that was the end of the visit. No need to get an LG or Pioneer brand when all the mini-splits are essentially the same. Gets a big NO from me. read more

Superior installed our new air conditioner last year. The unit works great, and the new thermostat is user-friendly. We are very satisfied with this company. From the receptionist to the technicians, they are truly customer service oriented. read more

I was a loyal customer of Croffoot Air before Superior bought them. My heat went out so I called Superior. 3 visits and a $600 valve later, I woke up to no heat. I called another highly rated company and in 1 visit I now have heat (they were able to find the problem, make a small adjustment, and the valve apparently wasn't the issue). I also got a call from Superior asking 'how I'm going to pay' an invoice that I had already paid. This seems to be a lesson in how to lose a customer. read more

We have been using Croffott for several years now and highly recommend them. After trying several of the big name companies over the years we always felt like they weren't honest and were constantly trying to upsell us on repairs. The folks from Croffott are perfect in every way. Responsive, professional, reasonably priced and most important - honest. They are hands down the best in the business. read more

There`s a reason Croffoot has over 40- 5 star reviews! They now another now! I wish I could give them 10 stars! Absolutely the greatest A/C company ever. After the nightmare companies the past few years my home warranty company sent me, I thankfully discovered Croffoot! Thank you Kirk, Susie and all! read more

This company is the best of the best! Absolutely floored from start to finish and I have referred them many times over! When our old A/C's started to fail, like most, we first called a company who advertises often on tv. Our upstairs unit wasn't working at all so they told us we needed at least one new unit and the other shortly thereafter. They added Freon to our broken unit getting it running where they said we may have roughly two months to replace, and charged us $600. The next day while I'm at work, they gave a bid of $14,800 for one unit (14 seer two stage) also telling us our attic was poorly insulated and could be cause for concern as it lessens the life of an A/C! My wife went ahead and gave a $1000 deposit for insulation and said she needed to discuss the pricing on A/C with me. They then told her this 'special offer' was only good until the end of the day! I'm sorry, but I'm in sales and I know BS! I called them, and told them even if they were the best price, I'll never use them simply because they use this tactic! Demanded my money for insulation deposit as well and started shopping around. I researched A/C's online, now having a good idea of price, and what I wanted, we literally had almost 20 different companies give a bid. Most were the same, feeling like I'm being sold, almost making my skin crawl. My last bid from Croffoot and I knew I was using them after meeting the owner regardless of the bid! I got an honest opinion, great advice, even set expectations with timeframes on how long it might take to get them delivered as I wanted a certain brand and seer rating, and possibly a variable speed. Received my bid the next morning, top of the line Trane variable speed A/C's at a great price! (Literally spent only a few thousand more than what the first 'Integrity' company was charging for ONE unit!). And oh, my upstairs unit failed 3 times while waiting on our new unit, and Mr. Croffoot arrived within an hour of our call, got it running again and all for FREE! Incredible! After installation, we also received a Rebate of $2000 which I guarantee, those others would have kept! And BTW, I didn't need insulation as told to me by multiple others, and Mr. Croffoot explained exactly what we had, and we had more than what's sufficient! If you want HONESTY, GREAT WORK, and MONEY in your account when all said and done, consider Croffoot Heating and Air!! You can thank me later. read more

Their service is top notch. They are educated, quick and very friendly. I will definitely recommend this company to all my friends and family. Colbie is absolutely amazing! Just to preface this, I work in Home restoration (water, fire, mold damage for 8 years) and I have never come across someone so professional. Colbie came out on a Sunday afternoon at about 4pm. Long story short, my AC went out and I called Colbie on Sunday (He was recommended by a really honest contractor we work with) and I'm 1000% happy with everything that happened. I have a daughter who has Febrile seizures (if it gets too hot she has seizures) and he tried everything he possibly could to fix the issue and get it running so I didn't need a new unit. He's extremely professional and honest. We got a quote from him and it's way more affordable than anyone else I had come out. I do need to buy a new system, but he thoroughly explained everything to me and had a quote sent that day because he knew the urgency regarding the situation. I can't thank him enough for his professionalism and knowledge with everything. Keep this man on board at all costs! lol read more

It's been years since I found Croffoot and hired them, and they are still the most incredible, honest, and BEST AC company in AZ to this day. I've had them work on several AC units at various homes to this point and just installed a new one at my rental, and the whole thing was perfect, as usual. This is the AC company to choose, hands down. I will forever be a customer of theirs. read more

We've used Croffoot for both replacement and repairs and couldn't be happier with their responsiveness, their knowledge, their customer service and their pricing. My husband is very very particular and has full confidence in their work and their staff. Susie returns calls quickly and efficiently and is a pleasure to work with. Today Andy came by to service our clogged condensation line, check out our other unit and put on a new grill on our outside unit as our roofing company damaged it during our recent reroof. Couldn't be happier with his work - and he took the time to patiently answer all my husbands questions! Great company, highly recommended! read more

Wow! I can't believe I haven't posted a review for these wonderful people yet. I have been using Croffoot for years. They are the best service people. From the time you call Susie and get started until the Technicians are finished you will never feel anything less than a truly valued customer. I have had them come out for routine maintenance and unfortunately had to have an emergency visit. They show up in time for whatever time your appointment is and for the emergency visit they came right over. It was a pleasant surprise to have them come so quickly. I referred a friend and they took such great care of them too. I doubt you can find another company that does such great work at a great price and with such great service. Thanks to the whole company! You can't go wrong with Croffoot. read more

After having our annual tuneup and HVAC inspection before the summer, another vendor had informed us that our HVAC had a leak in the attic. That vendor also told us that we needed 5 to 10 pounds of refrigerant, which seemed odd since the system was still cooling. My neighbor recommended calling Croffoot Heating And Air - and I'm glad that we did! Andy arrived on time and was professional. After inspecting in the attic, he confirmed there was a leak but that we needed much less refrigerant than previously told by the other vendor. He also gave us a quote to fix the leak that was half the cost of the other vendor. I would highly recommend Croffoot to anybody with HVAC needs. They are trustworthy and professional! read more

I've had multiple positive experiences with Croffoot. Had another company tell me on the last visit of their maintenance contract that my system was on the edge of needing thousands of dollars of work... Andy with Croffoot came and checked it out as a second opinion and assured me that everything was in working order and that he had nothing to upsell me. Very positive experience, I will be using them on my Chandler properties going forward. read more

I have been using Croffoot for a few years now. I highly recommend them. I called yesterday about an issue I was having with outside temps reaching 115 degrees. I spoke with Suzie and we ran through a few things and agreed that I would monitor overnight and call back Sunday at 9 AM. Suzie called me at 8:50 to check in. Still having issues so the owner Kirk was here by noon. He was able to quickly diagnose and fix the issue and our house was cooling again by 1. I have also had Andy to the house for maintenance and repairs and have found them all to be incredibly honest and reputable. If you are looking for someone to maintain or repair your heating and cooling system please call Croffoot. You won't be disappointed. read more

Our Air condition unit was serviced today by Andy and like always he was very courteous, got busy checking everything out in the attic and then cleaned and tested the outdoor unit. I was even called by Susie the office manager when Andy was on his way. We have used Croffoot for the past 3 years and plan to continue to use their services after moving to our new home. My unit was making a high pitch squeal..he thought and so did we that it was going to be the motor...my husband had sprayed some w-d 40 and the squeal stopped...kirk the owner checked out the unit, and advised that he wouldn't do anything at this point it was checking out good...nothing but the service call! I initially thought a spaceship was landing on my roof but it was just my AC unit making a weird noise. The AC unit started blowing warm air. Turned off the AC for the night and called Croffoot the next day. They had a tech at our house the same day. It cost $550 for a condenser motor and $618 total. I'm satisfied with the overall service. Professional! Courteous! Enthusiastic! Prompt! We selected Croffoot Heating & AC to determine why the back part our house was not getting much air, and to service the heating unit. Our initial contact was via email and Susie was very prompt in responding (a good sign). Kirk serviced our heating unit and determined our problem was due to faulty duct work. Shortly thereafter Kirk came back and made the necessary repairs, and we clearly have more air going to the back part of the house - Yea! Prior to both of Kirk's on-time visits, Susie called beforehand to let us know he was on his way (a greatly appreciated touch). When Kirk was finished he told us that the ducting made need re-balancing in the summer months, and that he would do it for no charge - and that Susie will be following up on this (which I have no doubt). He also offered suggestions on how to improve our AC's efficiency in the summer months. Kirk is punctual, neat, very personable, and CLEARLY knows what he is doing. Susie was very friendly, efficient and courteous. If they ever decide to give up the Heating & AC business they should go into the consulting business because this is the way things should be done!! read more
