1) Within the first year of having a maintenance agreement with them we had an issue with our 10 year old AC unit. Getting a new unit was their recommendation but we asked them to fix it since it was the first time we had an issue, it's a Trane AC and we felt we could get a little more out of it. They fixed it but then kept calling us to see if we were ready to get a new one. We had to tell them to stop asking us about new. 2) We didn't get a paper copy of the service agreement so when we did have an issue we couldn't remember who we signed up for and who to call. Our original company was bought out and we couldn't remember the name of this one so we had to dig deep into our brains and emails to figure out who to call. 3) We called to ask for a paper copy or email copy of the maintenance agreement and were emailed an estimate for new AC. We had to call back and tell them we didn't get what we wanted. Holden was the person we talked to and he kept telling us that he couldn't modify anything. We said we only wanted the agreement and didn't need any modifications. Holden said he sent us what we needed. We had to send him pictures of what he sent us to PROVE that he didn't send us what he thought. We were told by Holden that he had other customers he needed to talk to and had spent enough time with us. So he may have to get off the phone soon. I said that he hadn't taken care of us yet. Holden believed he had sent us what we needed. Finally he sent us the agreement. Once we received it, I said we have it, bye and got off the phone so Holden could get to other customers. While waiting for Holden to finally figure out that he didn't send us I was able to let Holden know that his communication with us was treating us like we were the problem when in fact he was not getting us what we were asking for. It was really wrong of him to talk to us as he did. 4) Today we had another AC company come out to our house to install some smart thermostats. The tech came down and showed me a picture of my dryer vent, explaining that it had been crushed. This totally explained why my dryer all the sudden started showing an error message that there was blockage. I had cleaned my dryer vent within the past six months so the error message didn't make sense. I tried cleaning my dryer vent after the message only to hit a block in the vent. Now I know why. I haven't called Rescue Air One about this issue. Their tech came out December 31 so I assume it happened that day. I am so thankful I called a different company because that smashed vent could have led to a fire of my home. read more

We bought a new HVAC unit from these people and the install was less than perfect. They made it right in the end. We used them for our other home in Gilbert to service a unit that wasn't working correctly and I was duped into believing I needed to spend $1100 on a 5-yr warranty plan in exchange for a free $80 part. I'm ashamed I fell victim to the sales pitch. The warranty plan includes two bi-annual check-ups which are not check-up's. There is always something wrong. Oh, your unit is running too hard, your unit is getting old, yada yada. It's a sales pitch every single time I have these people out to my house. A free check up turns into a "you need to spend $675 for this and that". ZERO peace of mind. ZERO. If this is how they treat a customer who has spent over $15,000 with them the past couple years, I can't even begin to imagine what they're doing to prospective customers. What a waste of $1,100. OH! And I almost forgot, they cover their as*es by including a 30-day termination policy on their service "warranties". If you don't cancel in 30 days and you come to realize how sheisty these people are (and you will), you'll be left in the dust. There's a reason they only give you 30 days, don't fall victim. read more

We've been a customer since 2018 and can't say enough about their service. All of their technicians are knowledgeable, conscientious and personable. They are sensitive to the needs of their customers and have always tried to do what's best for them. Matthew was our last technician and also serviced our neighbor, a 91 year old with limiting health issues. He was incredibly kind and sensitive to her needs and limited finances. Matthew will be the technician I ask for! Just a note about the owner, Jason, his crew replicates his ethics. In 2018, Jason saw a bad review I posted. He didn't ignore it, he took the time to call and rectified the situation. We've had no problems since, but I have no doubt, should there be one it would be handled promptly. Alex, Jason and Matthew all responded to my neighbors AC failure over a 2-day repair. My neighbors are Snowbirds and I volunteered to meet these repairmen from Rescue One Air. Matthew was punctual on the first day and efficient in determining the problem quickly, but we had to wait a day for the part to come in. Alex & Jason arrived early the next day and were very efficient. They jumped right in to install the new part in record time! They were also very polite and took the time to talk with our Snowbird neighbor on the phone and sent photos. They explained everything and when the job was completed - the AC worked! I appreciate the quickness in responding to my Saturday call. They had a technician to my home quickly. The technician did a thorough inspection, was really nice, and seemed knowledgable. He told me my compressor should be replaced and even checked to see that it was still under warranty. However the labor to replace it would be several thousands of dollars. He shared pictures and explained the process. Frankly, if that is what it cost, and that was what I needed - I would have done it. Today I paid for a second opinion from a very reputable company. I especially asked the tech to check my compressor. He was here over an hour. In his opinion my compressor was fine. He fixed a little wire thing (no extra charge) and went on his way. I guess the future will tell which guy got it right. Sometimes it pays to get a second opinion. My fingers are crossed. read more

Rescue One is still going strong! I have only used Rescue One Air for my yearly AC and Heater check-ups. Sadly, my favorite technician is no longer there and I was a little apprehensive on who they might send out. Jason showed up and was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Jason showed me a major problem in my attic that ultimately resulted in me purchasing a whole new split system for my house. Jason was not pushy and did not try to up sale me a system I did not need. There prices were very fair and I was offered a discount for having a maintenance plan with them. Within a few days installers arrived and my new heat pump and AC unit were installed. The installers were great from start to finish but they did have to cut the trim around my attic to bring everything in and out. I was assured that the office would be contacting me to have a professional drywaller come out and fix everything and they did that very same day. I highly recommend Rescue One Air for anyone looking for a reputable company that actually cares about their clients. Our AC went out this summer and we have very young children so it was an emergency. We had a different company come out and "fix it" and it stopped working again a few hours later. David W. with rescue one air came out the next morning and restored our faith! He fixed the problem correctly and thoroughly. He went above and beyond by - 1) taking before & after pictures and giving us a lot of details so we could follow up and get a refund from the other company. 2) He offered a permanent solution instead of just a bandaid like other people who had serviced the unit. We had encountered the same problem a year before and it seemed from previous work it had been happening before we moved in as well. 3) He took time to tidy up after the job and gave us his business card if we needed any further follow up. We bought a new AC unit, and they came out on the wrong day, and then they didn't complete the job for 4 days. They visited 5 times to try and finish the install and were so disorganized that they were missing parts each time! They gave us a discount given to the fact that we had to take multiple days off work to be home for their techs. Then we applied for the rebate credit and after 3 months of asking them for additional support, they never did it. We were out $1k due to their laziness with no response. This is our 4 ac unit with this company and the new ownership is horrible. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Rescue One Air. We called on a Saturday after noticing our air conditioner was making an odd noise. Within an hour, Matt showed up and performed a full evaluation of our unit. Unfortunately, it was time to replace that unit. Matt helped us pick out a unit that would work for our home and was very clear about all costs. On Monday, we met Jorge and Jesus, who were there to install the unit. Yesterday I had a scheduled routine maintenance call. I have a contract and they come out twice a year. My unit has been working great. I wasn't having any issues with it before the technician came; Mike. After the technician left; the following day my unit is no longer functioning as it was before he came. Before he came it was blowing cold air, and wasn't making a loud high pitched sound. Last night I set it to 76 and typically would wake up cold. This morning I woke up and it was 80 degrees in my house!!! I called and they sent another technician out. Now they are saying I need a new coil and there is no refrigerant and I have a huge leak. My feeling is that when Mike hooked up his gauges that he broke a valve or something. While the technician was here; Clayton, I called and spoke with the manager, Jim. I was not happy with his customer service and he spoke to me in a very condescending manner. Basically; I don't know what I'm talking about. I have been a customer for about 10yrs and never had an issue before. I am very unhappy with the service I have received. Clayton had to try and do "clean up". I was very happy with his service. So now I have to order a new ac unit. Not sure what's happening at RescueOne Air but the customer service is not like it used to be. read more

Everyone on the staff is friendly, helpful, professional, and efficient. It is easy to schedule or reschedule appointments. Randy and Jaylan were at our home Saturday. They did a great job for us. In addition to being friendly, helpful, professional, and efficient, they were respectful of us and of our home. Being sure to put disposal booties over their shoes every time they entered or reentered our home. They did not try to sell us anything extra. I would definitely request Randy and Jaylan again. Just when I thought customer service in the world was dead, these guys restored my faith. Firstly, their punctuality was remarkable. They arrived right on schedule, fully prepared to tackle the job. Their respect for my schedule was greatly appreciated. The installation process itself was seamless. The team displayed an impressive level of industriousness, working diligently to ensure the job was done right. Their expertise in HVAC systems was evident, as they skillfully navigated through the installation, making what seemed like a complex task appear effortless. They didn't cuss and complain like workers from other companies I've hired in the past, they were true professionals. I've had workers go on a full-on F-bomb tantrum because of their frustrations with the installation, the heat, the cramped spaces, etc etc. It's not cool when people do that and they make the customer super uncomfortable. What truly set Rescue One Air apart was their attention to detail, especially in terms of cleanliness. Post-installation, they meticulously cleaned up, leaving my space just as they found it, if not better. This level of consideration is rare and showed their respect for my home. Before they left, they took the time to walk me through the functionality of the new system, ensuring everything was in perfect working order. Service scheduled after an inspection visit one month ago. Recent beeping and ruled out everything but hvac. Time for service between 4-7 pm. Constant texts for reason service provider was not on time. After three hours of excuses cancelled service call. Thirty minutes later repair technician arrived. Said we canceled. Had another company today for different repairs and on time service. Extremely disappointed with Rescue One. read more

Both AC units went out around 7pm on 8/13, found and called Rescue One Air around 8:30pm, spoke with the call center and never received a call back to schedule service. Went with Arizona Comfort Specialists instead. Rescue One....don't advertise that you are 24/7 when you are not. It's now 8/16 and still no call to schedule service (we don't need it now). read more

Every time they come out the want to sell some multi thousand dollars package they have. Now they said we need a relay fixed on a 2018 AC. Scheduled an appointment window with confirmation day before in November. I am a nurse that works night shift so not only did they wait 2 hours and 45 mins to cancel at 1045am and say the tech not available, When she wanted to reschedule she couldn't even guarantee we could be first. I have anxious rescue dogs that I had already medicated for today due to the appointment. She did not care nor was she apologetic. read more

This company has some internal communication issues. I asked the office to tell the technician to text me when on his way, but he did not and said he thought he did. I asked them to tell him i had a mini-split in addition to AC and it seems they did not tell him that either, as he had no idea about the minisplit. I did call the office to let them know all this. In the past, technicians have cleaned off mold with a cloth and bleach and cleaned the filters of the mini-split, so I assumed these were regular tasks. Apparently, according to the technician today, it's up to the technician to decide to do these things. I was even corrected on the word mold, and told there was a technical term you used (although the last technician used the word mold!) and that I needed to asked politely about the mold cleaning and the filters and not just indicate they needed to be done. Then he proceeded to show us how to clean the filters which he thought was our job to do. If this company has policies on tasks, customers need to know those policies. It's been my experience in the past, about which I have talked to 2 company bosses over the last few years, that the technicians appear to be more free agents rather than work for the company rules or assigned tasks, so what we experience at one time with a technician, is no longer accepted by the next technician who in this case seemed to feel he was not treated properly despite being asked with please and being thanked. read more

I'm a little late on reporting this but I want to let you know that Joshua Edwards of Rescue one air heating and cooling was amazing I signed up with them because I was dealing with another company that never showed up and when they did they didn't take care of the unit for me and they were the original company when we bought our home in 2019 Rescue one air had made a visit here and checked out everything for us and then I had my second visit for maintenance on January 20 24 and even learn things about my air conditioning and also that my fire alarm kept going off and it's because he said it's because it was too close to my stove and it was actually a fire and carbon monoxide monitor that's combined and it was picking up the gas from my stove and causing my alarm to go off but I want to tell you they are so efficient and nice and I had made sure I signed up with them to have maintenance until 2028 because I am so thrilled about there professionalism and quick response and I'm hoping that when you use them, just make sure and ask for Joshua Edwards, because he was amazing read more

It was a sultry & miserable night.....thankfully Rescue One works on Sundays. Their man-on-call came to the rescue , no pun intended and put a temporary fix on our old-exhausted unit. The temporary fix needed another temporary fix and our service man came out again to hold us over until our brand new unit was to be installed, and it was his day off. Thanks Ryan! We did buy our unit through this company and are very happy with our whisper-quiet Carrier unit in the garage and back yard. It was a big investment but the whole house seems be running much more efficient. The service men that installed everything did a pretty quick job and cleaned up after themselves. My only complaint would be that there wasn't any follow-up and the service men that did the installation didn't take the care to wear booties. Now that we have made this investment with them they will be our air service company for life. read more

I honestly feel a little uneasy whenever the 6 month "check up" occurs but if I get this guy each time I won't even sweat it. He was superrr easy to talk to and just made me feel comfortable all around. I will request him each time in the future. We also talked about the business on another level and he only had amazing and kind things to say about the owner and the way they do things.
