This place is a joke. HORRIBLE customer service and zero follow through. Sarfaz was my salesperson, passed off to me by the manager Arlo. In the beginning I *thought* Sarfaz was a good guy. My mistake. He proved to be worthless and unprofessional. I bought multiple appliances from them - 48" monogram stove/oven, hood, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher, and then suggested my father purchase a new washer/dryer as well from them. You'd think with the amount of money we spent, they'd be more inclined to assist, or at least follow up. When I had my stove installed we quickly learned it didn't work. I called Sarfaz to let him know there was an issue and asked that it be replaced. Not only did he do nothing helpful, he gave me the runaround. He didn't have the time for me and did not help rectify the issue. I was so frustrated with him after multiple phone calls and emails, and asked to speak to Arlo each time. Sarfaz went radio silent. Eventually I tracked Arlo down, only to find out Sarfaz never told him I wanted to speak to him, nor that there was an issue. Arlo did assist after much complaining on my part but it took almost TWO MONTHS for me to get a replacement stove. It was ridiculous. Then about 6 months later my microwave began to have issues, and when I emailed them both - neither responded. These guys don't know the first thing about customer service, and it seems they don't mind trying to pass off broken appliances and relying on the parent companies to deal with fixing the issues. Not trustworthy at all. **In Response to store manager reply** The delay in review does not change my experience. And it appears I am not the only customer who has had a negative experience with appliances that did not work properly in reading your reviews. Arlo may not have been at that particular store but he was still with the company in 2018 when the issue was resolved. I purchased my appliances at the very end of 2017, they were delivered 2018, but as mentioned it took some time on your part for installation of new stove. What prompted me to finally write this review is the fact that I also had issues with my microwave this year, which should not be happening with top of the line appliances. He sourced out a lot of things for us in our renovations. He also called up to find out that we would've put the wrong item in our house that would've cost us a bunch of money. Bought a LG fridge and found there was a slow leak inside the fridge that lead to warped floorboards and bubbles throughout our kitchen. At first, communication with WDC was fine, they had the installer come out with an LG technician to inspect. They assured my wife and I that they would be involved in resolving the problem, however once they concluded it was an issue with the fridge and not the installation (which is still up for debate, in my opinion), they refused to be further involved. I've been left with dealing with LG directly and, as you can expect, they refuse to take blame for the issue either. So now I have two companies unwilling to take accountability and kitchen flooring that needs replacing. This isn't how a business should be run. I would highly recommend going through another company to buy your appliances, the whole process with this leak has been terrible and WDC has no integrity. Fridge was fixed and is now working fine (and we are enjoying the fridge), however if I could return the fridge to WDC and not give them my business out of principle, I would do so. read more

I just got a call 10 minutes ago regarding my range (stove & cook top) on an order I placed back in January 2022. I had ordered a Cafe refrigerator, Cafe dishwasher, hood for the stove, and a Cafe range. The dates they gave me for delivery were end of May. Needless to say the delivery dates kept getting pushed out. Refrigerator finally came 7/15/22, hood and dishwasher came 8/2/22. Range was supposed to be here in September. Now I find out it won't be here until October!! This is the worst company to every buy appliances from where they have to be ordered!! I know others who have ordered some of the same appliances from a appliance store in Sacramento had got them within 3 months. I will never buy a thing from them again, and highly encourage others to go elsewhere. If there was a negative Star rating they would get -10++. read more

I needed a new washer and dryer Went in. Knew 99% exactly what I wanted. They had it. Bang! Done. Terrific delivery/installation. Going back for a new dishwasher tomorrow. Not only did I need a new dishwasher but during the week my refrigerator died (PU!) Now I am even more impressed than ever. Mahmoud took care of everything to help me get exactly what I wanted. In addition he magically arranged my installation within three days! Who does that?! we paid over $2000 for a new LG washer and dryer. When delivered to our house, we were told that if anything did not work, they would "send us a new one". The washer never worked and we spent over a month speaking to customer service and completely got the run-around. They did not honor their word and send us a new one. A month later, we still have a washer that does not work. If there was a Zero Star review, I would have given that instead. No star rating! Worst experience. Ordered a dishwasher, stove and hood fan.Appliances where delivered however the sales person failed to order the duct kit for the fan. I have waited patiently but It has been about 3 months and Still no duct kit. I have had to reach out the sales person on my own to ask about the status.I was given yet another date that it supposedly would be delivered to another store, still no definite date. I received a msg from someone from the Torrence location the caller did not identify himself and the msg was very unclear. When I called the Torrence location back the receptionist was very rude and not helpful at all. I called the location that I purchased my items and was told that I should have received a call from the Torrence location manager because the Oxnard location did not have a manager.I asked the sales person I was speaking with to reach out to Torrence location to have the manger call be back. Left messages to have manager call me back and nothing. Called Oxnard back spoke with the same sales person he assured me he gave the message to the Torrence manger. Oxnard salesman called and spoke to Torrence location he assured me I would get a call back in 30 min and if I had not I would need to call him back. After my high quality brand dishwasher burned out after only 6 years of light-moderate use, I decided I wanted to switch to a Bosch. Bosch was out nationwide because of the Covid supply chain but somehow I found one at WDC after many weeks of looking online and even calling Bosch. I knew exactly what I wanted because I saw a store model elsewhere and was able to purchase it quickly over the phone with Matt Pratchard. They were to busy making coffee and chit chatting to help me. Since they are on commission that would effect the employee pocket book. Gas leak after installed by WDC. We bought a washer and dryer from WDC Oxnard and paid for WDC to install the units. 12/23/2020, two hours after WDC installers left we could smell gas in our laundry room. We shut off our gas valve immediately and called Southern California Gas. The Gas company explained that our dryer was improperly installed. WDC had incorrectly stacked an adapter and created a gas leak. Gas was constantly seeping into our home. We paid the gas company $63 to properly install our dryer. I spoke to the manager of the Oxnard store and his lack of concern was appalling. He refunded the installation charges and told me they were going to give me an extended warranty on my washer for free. That was his solution. No explanation as to how WDC would make sure this doesn't happen to another family. How does this family owned company not understand that it is not about the money but the safety of my family and neighbors. How could they employ "installers" of gas appliances who do not know what they are doing? Why didn't they test for a gas leak after hooking up my new dryer? Shame on WDC sending out untrained people to install gas appliances. read more

We remodeled our entire kitchen, from floor to light fixtures. As an avid cook, one of the most exciting parts of this remodel was all new appliances, specifically a 1 of a kind refrigerator that I absolutely loved. However, because of it's popularity it came later than the rest of the appliances. Which was fine, but when the warehouse delivery guys came to install it, ( our contractor was long gone,as the entire kitchen had already been completed) they could not get it to fit in the custom cabinet space. So they eventually got it stuck in the space, 6 inches out and left. I was very upset about this and how they rushed me. So I called and talked to the sales manager, whom sincerely apologized, and guaranteed that he would make sure I was happy--whether with a new purchased refrigerator that fit better or with the same one I already loved. So the next day he and our salesman Daniel, personally came to our home, And did an INCREDIBLE job repositioning the refrigerator, so it was flushed (and not stuck and sticking out) with the cabinets (as designed). We--were--thrilled! And the way they treated me (as my husband was out of town) was some of the best and most refreshing customer service I had seen in a long time! So yes, we recommend getting appliances here! We felt like they didn't just treat us like a dollar sign, but more like a family friend. read more

We had an issue with the fridge the next day, it was not making ice, was leaking water and making a popping sound. Horrible customer service. I was all set to give a 5-star review based off of the good prices, but in the end I wish I had spent more money elsewhere. I ordered my appliances on 12/6 and was told they would be delivered on Wednesday, 12/14. I never received a call so I followed up on Tuesday 12/13 to get delivery time. I was told the schedule was full and they couldn't deliver my appliances on 12/14 and that my fridge was damaged so that had to be re-ordered. After a lot of grumbling, they magically found time to deliver to me on 12/14 and after more grumbling they delivered a loaner fridge. Long story short, the loaner fridge doesn't work. My food is half-hazardly thrown into 3 coolers and I have been told the earliest they can deliver my new fridge is Saturday. I have a birthday party and a holiday party this weekend, so a Saturday delivery won't work at all but all they could say was "Sorry" and I was even told it wouldn't be fair to bump someone else's Friday delivery by a few hours so they could squeeze mine it. Fair?!? Ha! If I could, I would cancel the entire order and send it all back, but that would just put me further out for being done with this entire mess. So I have to just deal with it. Next time I will pay more for good customer service, clear communication & a company that is willing to do whatever it takes to fix their mess. Have I mentioned I've spent about $100 on ice at this point waiting for a fridge that works? Ugh! So ready to be done with this company. read more

He was so courteous, friendly professional & extremely helpful, 1st over the phone, then in person, at the WDC showroom in Oxnard. I ordered a custom bathroom vanity through WDC and am so glad I did! I originally purchased a vanity through an online retailer and was extremely dissatisfied with the quality so went to WDC in Oxnard. I needed a narrow depth vanity which was hard to find, but Pat at WDC was able to quickly show me some great options. He provided cost saving ideas for the countertop and helped me locate a clearance sink bowl. Shipping and delivery were on schedule and I appreciated being given a realistic timeline. The position of the hardware were incorrect on the drawer fronts and Pat made sure to get new fronts with the correct placement. I was hesitant to order something custom due to cost and the hassle of figuring out the details, but in hindsight it was a great decision. Beware. I wish l had read the lousy reviews before walking into this store. Immediately after handing over my credit card, I found out that the washer would be too big, and though I had barely made the purchase, WDC would not cancel the order or refund my credit card. This company will take your money and run. Here's what happened. My trusty Kenmore washer died after 20 years. Since the last time I bought a new washer was 20 years ago, I wrongly thought all washers were the same size. I didn't realize that today's front-loading washers are much deeper than the old top loaders. So I read online reviews of various washers, and based on reviews and rebates, I thought I knew what I wanted. I went to Warehouse Discount Center in Oxnard shortly before closing time and asked to see the model I was considering. The salesman, Abul, did not show me any other washers, did not tell me about the washer I was considering, did not warn me about the extra-large size, and did not make any suggestions. He took my credit card and asked me to sign the contract. Only then -- after he ran my card -- did he inform me that the washer I chose was especially large: 34 inches deep, much larger than the machine I had. Now why didn't he mention this BEFORE taking my credit card? Immediately, I realized it probably wouldn't fit in my tiny laundry space. I told him I didn't want to sign the contract. I told him I wanted to first measure the space. I wanted to cancel, or at least postpone, buying the washer. He said I had already given him my credit card so now I had to sign. I said, "What if my space is too small? Will you refund my money?" He said, "yes." He also told me to email him if the space was too small. So, I signed the contract. As soon as I got home, I measured the space, and sure enough, the new machine would not fit. As the store was now closed, I emailed Abul (as he instructed me to do). I asked him to cancel the order and refund my card. The next morning, he replied to my email, saying he would cancel the delivery (which was scheduled for three days later), but he did not cancel the order and did not refund my credit card. So, the "DELIVERY" of the washer was canceled, but the ORDER was not canceled. The charge remained on my credit card. I sent him two more emails, asking that the ORDER (not just the delivery) be canceled and my card be refunded. I then called what seems to be the main WDC office in Moorpark. The person who answered said that orders cannot be canceled or refunded except by a manager. We asked to speak to a manager, and she replied that no managers would be working in any of the stores for several days. (huh?) That sounded like a runaround and such BS. We drove back to the Oxnard store to get this issue resolved in person. We arrived shortly after the store opened at 10 a.m. Abul, the original salesperson, was not working that day, but we spoke to Dan, who was very helpful. Unlike Abul, Dan showed me several washers and explained the pros and cons of each. But when we told him we wanted to cancel the order, get our money refunded, and do more research, he said that was not how Warehouse Discount Center operated. Yes we could buy something else and do an exchange. But we could not easily CANCEL the order, even though 1) Abul said we could 2) We had not received the washer; I had barely ordered it the night before so it wasn't even supposed to be delivered for a couple more days, so it wasn't a matter of returning or restocking anything. 3) If it's this hard to get refunded for a transaction placed hours before, for an item that wasn't even yet delivered, what would happen if I bought a defective item that was already installed? I had/have no faith in this company whatsoever. It shouldn't be this hard to cancel an order that was just made. At that point, I didn't want to do business with this company anymore. But since getting my money refunded apparently would have required a time-consuming fight, I reluctantly settled on the smaller, less-expensive washer that Dan recommended. I want to repeat that Dan was very helpful. My beef is not with him. The problem is the way WDC operates. They are very difficult to work with, and with such an expensive purchase, you want a company that will back you up, not take your money and run. I did (finally) receive the $189 refund (took a long time), which is the difference between the original order and the top loader I eventually settled on. Be smarter than I was. Read reviews . . . not only on the appliance, but also on the store you plan to buy it from. Be sure you know the refund/return policies. PS: WDC will also try to sell you an extended warranty. Realize that you may be able to get a better and less expensive extended warranty directly from the appliance manufacturer. The warranty you would get from WDC is through Assurant. Ordered a dishwasher online using secure checkout that recorded my credit card number & security code as well as my billing address. Received an email shortly thereafter loudly & rudely demanding a copy of my drivers license and the credit card for "fraud prevention" purposes or my order would be canceled. Emailed them back to tell them to go ahead and cancel my order because I'm not sending the requested info due to my own ID fraud concerns. This is the 1st time I've ever been asked for my license for an online order and the weird email immediately made me think of Nigerian princes wanting to park money in my account. read more

Walked in with my daughter looking for Multiple appliances for her new home. After 15 minutes looking around a man said he would be right with us but never came back. We walked around the customer service area about three times and still no one attempted to assist us. They had about 6-8 associates who were not helping anybody. Other than us, there were 3 other customers in the store. 45 minutes later and no one offered to assist us so we just left. I guess they really don't need my money. As we were walking out, an associate was just sitting in the customer service desk on her cell phone and still said nothing. Not good for business when you cannot acknowledge potential customers. Take your money elsewhere unless you don't care how they treat you and you just want to walk in and hope for a good deal but that's not for me. read more
