First and foremost, our experience with Re-Bath Pacific Coast was beyond fantastic, especially given the "difficulties" of our home. It is over 100 years old, was a restaurant in town in the 1920's, and was hauled up a big hill in the 1940's and plopped in a field! Mama and Papa raised three kids here with ONE bathroom. so when we decided to get a new shower and called Alex Flores, the salesman for Re-Bath, we knew the challenges Alex and his crew would face...and, boy, did they face them!!! What a marvelous job they all did. Alex outlined the contract in excellent, layman's terms detail and it was followed to a tee! Then, Victor and Gabriel, two brothers, came out to do the job. With our existing shower, and what was behind it, just putting in the pan took four hours instead of the usual thirty minutes. The guys got here at 9:10am and left at 9:10pm and the install was PERFECT!! They didn't miss ANYTHING, including a great job cleaning up! We are extremely happy with our finished shower and will ALWAYS recommend Re-Bath Pacific Coast to anyone! read more

Looks like my review was deleted so I'm going to rewrite it. They were hired through Home Depot to have a shower and a bathtub redone. While the workers did their best (overworked and underpaid), the end result was horrible. The actual product they sell is cheap, hard to clean, and visibly low budget compared to what they sell you on. Customer service and management is horrible. Inspections failed 4 or 5 times. The inspector said if they have to come out one more time to a failed inspection, they would have to start charging. What ended up being a 6 week project turned into over 4 months. I understand that some projects take a long time but this wasn't a full bathroom makeover. They were ONLY doing a 1 person shower and tub which was all drop in and not custom built. Not to mention we had to patch a hole and repaint the walls outside the bathrooms because they were sloppy with handling. We also had to re-caulk a lot of it as it was lumpy and peeling after a few weeks. I think what really set me off was their follow ups. I spoke to them when I noticed things started going down hill. Then complained when it looked like nothing was getting better. Even complained to Home Depot in hopes they could do something as we went through them. Afterwards, they followed up acting like the previous conversations never happened and everything was perfect. And then today I get a text asking about us an inquiry we sent in like they haven't already done the work. I don't know what CRM they use but they need a new one or need to train their staff better . I wish I still had my photos of the initial work as this was before Covid. Stop reaching out to me. Side note: the only positive thing about the whole experience was they left us a rubber duck. We just had two bathrooms totally remodeled by Pacific Coast Rebath. From start to finish, everything went smoothly and the end product is beautiful. Dustin was our sales consultant, one of the best I've worked with, really understood the products and capabilities of construction in helping us with our design and product choices. BEWARE: Extremely poor work! Awful company! Rotten behavior! In late December of 2020, I purchased my home, a manufactured home in a senior park in Santa Barbara. Between the closing and the time I moved in during mid-March of 2021, I had a number of renovations done. When I bought this 1978 home the master bathroom had only an old and ugly tub. That was removed by someone else and the floor fixed. I did not have the money to put in a shower at that time so I turned to the guest bathroom, which had another old and ugly tub/shower combo. I called Pacific Coast Re-Bath, located in Oxnard. At the time I knew nothing about home renovations and my huge mistake was not slowing down and doing research. So I told them I wanted a walk-in shower with a glass door and in only one day they did it. It cost me $9400. In 2021 dollars. Fast forward to nearly three years later. I had a trustworthy contractor come out when I noticed the heavy glass door was getting hard to open and close and was at a slightly odd angle. It turns out that the screws the guy used to install it were (1) too short, and (2) NOT placed into the studs! So the door is essentially pulling itself out of the wall. I have a $9400 resin shower, a. VERY slippery shower floor and a tiny curb that is now leaking water onto the floor outside the curb. I am having to have a local , very trustworthy contractor come out to gut the shower and put in a whole new one for more than the original cost. This contractor is known for perfection, something I need after being completely ripped off by the incompetent and godawful Re-Bath. Don't even think of calling them unless you are looking for the worst work ever. No shower install takes one day unless, maybe, you are just replacing a shower head. If you go against my advice, and that of the other reviewers who also had bad experiences, you are letting yourself in for world of hurt and a lot more money to fix the horror Re-Bath will leave you with. Trust me when I say it is NOT worth it. Take your time; find a contractor with an excellent reputation; it will be worth it in the years to come. P.S. First of all when we had the salesman at our home he told us that the project would be done in four to eight weeks which would of be June 6, 2025, on June 20th the job was finally finished. Then the installer put in a green board which had large hole in it and did not want to replace it. Then he did a poor job of putting the silicone seal around the edges of the top of the shower. I contacted the office and told them that I needed the name of the sealer and was told that one of the employees would have to put it in, three days later we called the office and was told that someone would bring us the sealer... The final blow was when the installer was finished we would like to have some of the tiles in case some would need to be replaced he gave us 6 tiles when we had time to check them only one was usable. What a complete waste of my time. We had worked through Home Depot to do our kitchen and some closet projects with their contractors and everything went so well and we are so happy with all that work so we decided to give them our work for the bathrooms which they use Pacific Coast Re-Bath. We had a great consultation with Dustin in August 2023 to do a renovation of our upstairs bathroom. Simpler work, just taking out the old 1980's bathroom we have and replacing the tub/shower, vanity, and flooring all in Re-Bath's preferred product line. $15K for this, by the way. Didn't include toilet, mirror, and things like towel bars, etc. Also didn't include crown moulding or any trim work. We were willing to pay this even though I know we could do this WAY cheaper through our handyman including all the items Re-Bath doesn't do. Issue here, this is the main bathroom everyone uses when they come over and our handyman would take several months to do this work. Re-Bath promised 4 days once the work was scheduled. We initially wanted to do tile but that would have been extra cost, and the product line Re-Bath uses are apparently high quality and easy to clean. We are told they are champions with communication which is my biggest concern with contractors. I made this VERY clear and was assured we would be taken very good care of. We don't have $15K on hand so we apply for the Home Depot credit card and toss it on there. We were told that our bathroom would be done either December / January and our contract stated January 20th. The business card Dustin left had a note to call in late November to get an update on the schedule of our build. Re-Bath was quick to help us with some strange hurdles getting the purchase order through on the credit card and then that was pretty much it for communication with them. I called in late November for a schedule update and I went straight to voicemail and no one returned my call. I tried two more times and then texted Dustin who said I'd have to go through their office which already wasn't helpful. The holidays come and go, and now it's mid-January. We're 5 days away from contractual start date. I call and get several "let me find out and call you back" without the call back. Finally, I get the news that my vanity is still being built and would not be shipped until February 21st. They will call me the day after it arrives as it has to go through quality control checks and if it passes, they'll schedule the build dates. Really? They are back logged by 6 months on a vanity? Particularly one that Dustin said is a standard size? I'm now really skeptical of all of this, however, I choose to wait. I'd already paid off a third of the amount and we had already lost so many months. What's one more? Clearly no one placed the order and they now did. I hear nothing from them Wednesday February 21st. My wife calls and is told that they would call her back on Friday. No call. I text Dustin. He says someone will call me. I get a direct voicemail from Balthazar (I had my phone out when he 'called' and it didn't ring so he went straight to voicemail) and left a long rambling message saying they were trying to figure out where they were at with our order. This took more than 2 days? Now I'm really concerned about the work of this company. Why would Home Depot use this company? On Monday afternoon, I get a call from their trainee who has another woman in the background feeding her all her lines. (Are you kidding me? You have an angry customer who paid $15K for a project that has already breached the contractual start date and they have the nerve to put a trainee on the phone?) She (or the woman feeding her the lines) tells me that there was high turnover at Re-Bath and that everything is ready and can offer me a build date starting 3/18. This gives me 0 confidence in this company. They're going to redo my bathroom?! Then, the ordering manager comes on to tell me that the last 3 installations of the flooring we chose has cracked during installation. Do I want to sign a waiver saying I understand if the floor is cracked during installation and agree to take that risk or do I want to pick a new flooring option? Is this the high quality product line I was sold on? I'm done. I don't think I can trust our main bathroom remodel by a company that performs this poorly just trying to set up the work. I call Home Depot and explain my experience and even THEY advised me to cancel the order. So I did. The sales guy said someone would call to try to make amends before the final cancelation. No one called. I get an email a few days later from their office stating they will cancel the contract and refund everything except the contractual cancellation fee. I respond back that based on the fact that they already are in breach of the contract by not even coming close to the date of build, they will need to refund the whole amount. They did. I was apprehensive about having my tub/shower replaced with a walk-in shower. Especially in only 2-days. The crew, Mike and Victor, arrived on time and ready to deliver their promise. Rebath has this scam or actually it is a sales trick to up sell you. I called them yesterday to have them give me an estimate on a bathroom redo because of leaking pipes under tub. Amy said that both of the home owners need to be there. I explained that my wife has crazy hours and that getting the both of us together for something as minimal as a redo of my Alcon shower tub combo is not going to happen. I hate to update like this but this is getting ridiculous. During the installation, the overflow drain for the bath was not installed correctly. Once someone took a bath (on the second floor) it flooded the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom destroying the drywall and flooding the light fixture. Of course this was during Thanksgiving weekend when we had family in town and had to call an emergency plumber. We even had to drill holes in the ceiling to get the water out! Since they sell you on this "great" warranty I gave them the benefit of the doubt and have been emailing and calling them. I am now 2 calls in with someone saying they would get back to me, 2 emails in with no response, and one service person coming out when their truck stopped working and had to get towed... It's really sad since I had such a great experience until they couldn't admit they did something wrong which is destroying my only guest bath during the holidays. read more

If I could give a negative review I would. Their customer service is the worst ever. I have been calling them twice a week since October 9, 2023. Today is Nov 17, 2023 and I finally got through to Marissa. Every time I have called, I have explained in great detail the problem I am having with my glasss shower door. THe hinge is coming away from the wall causing the glass door to "clunk" every time the door closes. I even emailed pictures to them.Today Marissa tells me that the shower door is not covered in the warranty because it was installed over a year ago. No where in my lifetime residential warranty does it say anything about shower doors being covered for only one year. Then Marissa tells me that warranty changed when they had new upper management beginning in 2022. She says they no longer cover my area. She gave me the name and number of someone I could call to work on my shower door at my expense. I am furious. If management changed and the warranty changed with it, I should have been notified. They could also have given me this information when I started calling on October 9, 2023. Instead, they just let me keep calling. She did not care. Earlier this year, we decided to remodel our only full bathroom. We knew we wanted a shower conversion but otherwise we weren't too sure about what we wanted. After some research we went to Pacific Coast Re-Bath in Oxnard. A small, unassuming show room minimally staffed, we were helped with friendly service and we quickly got an appointment for a consult in a couple of weeks. When our consult came by, he did a great job looking through our bathroom, recommending the type of conversion we should have, and helped us with choosing new flooring and tile for install. He gave us options best on various price points and did a good job with his recommendations. We signed the contract for work to be done within 60-90 days, a bit long but we were fine with it. Now here comes the only source of angst that we had: two month long delays pushed our remodel past our target date. Sure, we were given reasons, and I'm sure they were legitimate, but we waited a significant amount of time for the work to start. We expressed concern and were credited some money back for the delay. We had the work done this week, we were previously told the bathroom would be done by Wed COB and the painting by Friday COB. Both timelines were met with no further delay. Our lead installer, Paul, did an excellent job and was basically a machine. We knew we were dealing with a hard worker when he expressed happiness with the cool weather at our beach condo because it meant less needed breaks so they could work longer. He was friendly, knowledgeable and was the sole reason the remodel looks as great as it does. Our painter, Cesar, was next up for two days of painting. He did the prep work yesterday afternoon, and asked me how early he could start today. He came pretty early, worked all day, coordinated a task between us and the home office, and did a great job with the paint. Throughout the whole process he was friendly and courteous. I'm not sure who these other reviewers have worked with, but I guess I must have got the superstar team. I have called every week for the past 6 weeks to have someone come out and fix the shower. The walls pop during a shower. There was Marissa, now on to a third who is supposed to be in charge. They spent time with me making sure the shower and remodel job was customized just how I wanted it to be and had great creative ideas and suggestions. I was impressed and how they took a four or five day job and finished it with no issues and a day or two early. Paul and Ramon would show up right at 8 am and work until late to make sure they did as much work possible for the day. They barely took a break before they were hard at work again and they were very thorough and precise which was definitely showcased in the final product. I called this company to schedule an install date in May 2020. I was given an install date of June 29, 2020. I called this company on June 25, 2020, to confirm this date. The receptionist I spoke to told me the date was on their calendar and that it was confirmed. On that day, no one from the company appeared and no one from this company called to cancel or reschedule the install date. After numerous failed calls to the company to attempt to reschedule, this company only responded to a demand letter sent on December 31, 2020. This company did not return any telephone calls from June 29, 2020, through and including December 30, 2020. Do not do business with this company. DO NOT CONTRACT THIS COMPANY! We should have known not to go through with Rebath since our very first encounter with Grace, the sales representative (who no longer works with the company) and our encounter with the finance department. After providing our down payment, Grace told us to get a Home Depot card to pay for the rest and then pay off the card. After applying for the card, Home Depot could not find our information which delayed the project. We then had to reapply for the card, but we did not get the same credit allowance. Grace told us to get the card anyway, and that Rebath would extend the credit limit on their end. The beautiful shower was then installed, but we have been taking lukewarm showers ever since, when our hot water was working perfectly fine before the installation. Rebath said they would send someone out to fix the issue when they installed the shower door (supposed to be 2 weeks afterwards). It has been a month and we are still waiting for the shower door and our hot water. We have called Rebath SEVERAL times and continue to get the runaround. They were not able to extend our credit limit and said Grace should have never old us that they could. They also said that because there is still an outstanding balance, fixing the hot water issue is not covered by the warranty when they told us if there were any issues during installation, they would fix it free of charge. The limit on the Home Depot credit card has been used by Rebath, but Rebath said they did not use the entire limit when we can clearly see the transaction. They promised us a payment plan, and have failed to deliver. After a countless amount of calls, I was able to speak with James, the parts manager, who said the shower door would be installed Saturday 10/17. It is now 9:27pm 10/18 and we do not have a shower door. I was told by Jennifer that I would receive a returned call regarding an ACCURATE payment plan by 10/16. Again, it is 10/18 9:27 pm and she has not returned my call. If you don't want the runaround, wrong information, or to wait longer than what is stipulated in the contract, DO NOT HIRE REBATH! read more

I was looking to replace the bathtub and surrounding walls in my condo, so I went to The Home Depot and Lowe's to get information and estimates. Both stores forwarded my information to Pacific Coast Re-Bath, the one company they contracted with. A representative came to my residence, explained my options, showed me some samples, and generated a quote based on my initial needs. Because Re-Bath was the first company I spoke to, I wanted to get additional quotes before I made a final decision, and I informed the representative of that. Two business days later, I received an e-mail from the company (not the representative who visited my home) that said, "I was looking at your quote and I want to make sure you get all your questions answered as you make a decision." I did have a couple of questions regarding options I didn't think to ask about during the initial consultation, so I replied the next day asking those questions. However, the company never responded. Having read reviews stating that Re-Bath was difficult to communicate with if you weren't actively in the process of giving them money, this raised enough flags to discourage me from making the effort to get an answer out of them. About four weeks later, I finally got a follow-up e-mail asking where I was at with my project (just a general follow-up e-mail -- the company had never answered my questions). By that point, I had already gone with another contractor, so I did what Re-Bath did to me and never responded. The shower they offered seemed nice, the price was competitive, and the promise of a quick demolition and installation was appealing (although now that I've had the project completed -- it took nearly a month between the demolition and the completion of the final inspection -- I wonder how many headaches I would have had to endure when restrictions set forth by my HOA would have prevented Re-Bath from getting everything 100% completed in less than a week). But I got the impression that the company's priority was making the sale and not anything else. read more

Horrible customer service. If they say they'll call you back, don't count on it

A word of caution on Rebath warranties: I had a shower surround installed in 2009, and it worked well for many years. Recently, however, the surround began to pull away from the wall whenever the shower was on for a few minutes and the room became steamy. Because Rebath had given me a warranty on the product and related repair costs, and because this warranty was supposedly good for as long as I owned the house, I contacted the Oxnard store on 9/10/21. My hope was that they would send someone to my house to re-attach the surround. Twenty days later, after I initiated numerous follow up calls and emails (including a video that illustrated the problem), Rebath contacted me to say that their corporate office denied the warranty. I called the corporate office (in Arizona) to find out why and spoke to Lisa, who told me that my warranty did not cover the installation of the adhesive material. I informed Lisa that I had the warranty right in front of me and this was not one of the exceptions listed on the document. She said it was added to their warranty language in 2019 to make the exceptions "clearer." Rebath was retroactively applying their updated language to my project from 2009 to give themselves an out. They would only send someone to my house at a charge to me. If you are considering using this company, and there is a problem later on, please consider the amount of outreach you will need to do to get a response - and that their corporate office may be less than eager to honor its warranties. Sean from Re-Bath did a fantastic job removing and installing my​ shower/tub combo. The tub he removed was cast iron and there was very little room to work. He was able to get it out without any problems. He then got the new tub/shower in very quickly. Sean bent over backward​ to make sure that my wife and I were informed about the process and any potential hiccups that may arise. I was very happy when he finished​ and he finished in two days, as promised. I set up an appointment for a consultation. When they had not arrived I contacted them to ask what was going on. They claim I gave them the wrong phone number and they had sent me an email trying to contact me. I went through my emails and they did not send me an email. Mike and Victor completely re-modeled our two bathrooms in 7 full days. For a couple of days, they worked until 9 PM to get the job done. Both of them are professional and took the time to do things right. They were both very friendly and worked hard. We are happy with our two bathrooms. Dustin, the designer, was also very easy to work with and helped us made the right decisions. The only drawback was one has to wait for a long time before they can start the project. When I bought my condo last year I knew I would eventually need to swap out the tub liner for a walk-in shower. I did some research and decided on Pacific Coast Re-Bath. A sales consultant, Karl, came to my home with samples. I decided to pull the trigger and booked the renovation that day, I picked design options, Karl took the measurements. After a couple of months I got an email that the parts had been delivered to the Oxnard office and they would be contacting me soon to set up a date for the renovation. This was my only disappointment, they didn't contact me; I waited a few weeks and finally called them because the bank I financed through called me saying the home improvement loan was about to expire. When I called them, we were able to agree on a date for the work to be done, although they called me back later to postpone the work a week. When the day came, Ryan showed up right at the time I was told to expect him. He put down drop cloths all through the condo and set about taking out the old tub. Ryan did the work in two days, although he warned me that he might need another half day because irregularities in the condo structure were slowing him down. He didn't need it. He was out the door by 5 on the second day, leaving the place cleaner than I was expecting. I was very happy with his work. I'm happy with the shower and door. Avoid this company! I wish I would have read the bad reviews before I hired them. It's been over a year now and I'm still having issues. I'll be adding pics soon, but in the meantime, here's the long story short. found ReBath from a visit to Home Depot, salesman came out to our house and sold us on a bathroom remodel. We were told it would only take a couple of days and it's been over a year now and are still having issues. And the issues have not been small, the entire installation has had to be removed and reinstalled because of mistakes they've made and yet again it's looking like another major demolition to fix another one of their installation problems due to the fact they cut corners and have a cheap quality product. Additionally, the problem now is they won't even come out to fix it. They say they will, but are having issues scheduling someone. Months keep going by with no results. It started with a poor demolition, we're still cleaning from the dust all in the house and damage to the walls from the demolition that they say they are not responsible for if you read the fine print. read more

We had Alex come out in December and we decided to go with Re-Bath despite their mix reviews on Yelp. We also, checked out their showroom prior to having Alex come out. Doreen called us and said the install would take two days and gave us some dates and said the installer would show up between 8-9 am. Sean and his helper Tyler showed up at 8:30 and went over the work that they would be preforming to make sure we were on the same page. They protected our floors, did excellent work, cleaned up after themselves and was a pleasure to work with. We had a great experience and would highly recommend them. The 5 stars is for Mike and Joey the 2 guys that installed and remodeled our guest bathroom. They were timely, very clean, friendly... We can't say enough about them!! They made sure we were happy with everything before they left. Our home is only 5 yrs old, we didn't need a re-model, we have moved my 82 yr old mother with dementia in who is a fall risk therefore we needed a walk in shower for her safety. We are not happy with the fact that it took over 6 months from the time we put 50% down and were told in August that it would be December when our project would be done. December came and no calls, emails nothing to let us know what was happening. I called several times to be told Marissa was out of the office and would get back to us. We felt blown off by her. Anna took over our account and February our project was completed. Anna emailed me to let us know what was going on. We were set for March!! There was a cancellation and they were able to be here mid February. We are very pleased with the finished product. Again can't say enough about Mike and Joey!! read more

***DO NOT USE I used Rebath 5 years ago,- I am currently trying to have them come out and fix a cut wall, They took pipe about 4" without ask or showing me. I later get a call saying they will not repair its not there fault. Manny said differently it was their fault. Based on a request to Home Depot for a company to convert our bathtub - shower to a walk-in shower, we were referred to Pacific Coast Re-Bath. A salesperson came to our home in October and after we selected samples and gave him what we wanted in writing, we contracted to have our bathtub replaced with a shower. We were told that the installation would be done the following January. That was too late for us because we wanted the work completed before Christmas as we would have a full family in the house. We were told that the materials had to be pre-formed In a factory in Arizona and that was why the job couldn't be completed any sooner. We then offered to pay an additional $1,000 if the job could be done before Christmas. The salesperson agreed to that and the contract called for the installation to begin Dec. 15. We put down a $1,000 deposit. We were supposed to pay a $5200 progressive payment once the factory began fabricating the materials. However, Re-Bath instantly charged our credit card for the amount the day we entered into the contract. In mid-November, I called Re-Bath to tell them I wanted to change the order and eliminate one of the grab bars we had in the contract and that I would replace it with a larger one that I had purchased. I wanted to talk with the salesperson but I was told he no longer worked for Re-Bath. When the first of December came, I called Re-Bath to find out what was going on. I was told that the job would be done in January. No one was aware that the job was supposed to be completed before Christmas. I was told that the matter would be looked into. Come December 15, I heard nothing from Re-Bath so I again called. I again was told that the job would be done in January. I told them that we paid an extra $1,000 to get the job done in December and that it was a breach of contract and that we would never have contracted with Re-Bath unless the job would be completed before Christmas. Then the person I was talking to admitted that yes it was in the contract and that they would find a way to schedule getting the job done before Christmas. Two men showed up on December 22 to do the work. They worked ten hours that day. They came back the next day and worked 12 hours, well after dark. It rained hard that day. When They finished, it was almost 9 PM. I was tired, they were tired and I badly needed to use the bathroom so we all made a quick inspection, and frankly, I did not notice the problems until the next day. The workers had punched a hole in the back of one of the shower walls and had done a horrible job of patching it. The shower doors were not level so they rolled closed and would not stay open. The end of the bathroom sink had a gaping hole in it and had not been repaired so that the shelf would be supported. The corners of the shower had not been sealed. Moreover, although the workers covered the entire sink with a tarp, every inch of the sink and everything on it as well as everything in the cupboards had a heavy coat of dust on it. It took two of us a whole afternoon just to clean up the dust. Not only that, we had requested that the shower doors be constructed of thick glass and that a towel rack be installed on the inside door. Instead, the doors were made of cheap thin 3/8's " glass instead of 1/2" thick glass. The reason we thought the cost of the work was so high was that we knew that thick glass doors were much more expensive than thin glass doors. Also, no towel rack came with the inside door.The foreman told me that glass doors do not come with inside towel racks because if a person using the shower slipped and grabbed the towel rack, it would break the glass. However, my research shows that glass doors are sold with towel racks on the inside door so I believe what I was told was just an excuse for not providing us with the quality doors we thought we had contracted for. We also requested that a valve be installed on the shower pipe and I provided a new one. The valve not only was not installed, the workers kept both the new one and also the old one that was on the pipe they replaced. So I had to buy another one. We are running out of space to tell everything that went wrong with the installation. We stopped payment on a $5,700 Second Progressive Payment and the final payment of $500. The next week the job supervisor visited and I showed him the problems. He said he would be back to make the repairs. He had been sent by Re-Bath to collect the money. I said I was willing to give Re-Bath a check for $5,000 and would give them the remainder when the work was completed. However, unbeknown to me, my Credit Card company released the earlier progressive payments to Re-Bath and then Re-Bath cashed the $5,000 check I had given them which means that Re-Bath not only didn't complete the repairs it promised to do, it is fraudulently keeping money that it is not owed. Re-Bath never came back to finish the repairs and I had to hire a craftsman to make repairs. read more
