Mike, Colton, and Jesus worked long hours to complete the remodel of two bathrooms. Their work was excellent quality, they were pleasant and helpful, minimized disruption, and cleaned up well every evening. The quality of Rebath materials seem very good, and our master bath looks awesome. Rebath's price was fair compared to other options we looked at.

BEWARE: Extremely poor work! Awful company! Rotten behavior! In late December of 2020, I purchased my home, a manufactured home in a senior park in Santa Barbara. Between the closing and the time I moved in during mid-March of 2021, I had a number of renovations done. When I bought this 1978 home the master bathroom had only an old and ugly tub. That was removed by someone else and the floor fixed. I did not have the money to put in a shower at that time so I turned to the guest bathroom, which had another old and ugly tub/shower combo. I called Pacific Coast Re-Bath, located in Oxnard. At the time I knew nothing about home renovations and my huge mistake was not slowing down and doing research. So I told them I wanted a walk-in shower with a glass door and in only one day they did it. It cost me $9400. In 2021 dollars. Fast forward to nearly three years later. I had a trustworthy contractor come out when I noticed the heavy glass door was getting hard to open and close and was at a slightly odd angle. It turns out that the screws the guy used to install it were (1) too short, and (2) NOT placed into the studs! So the door is essentially pulling itself out of the wall. I have a $9400 resin shower, a. VERY slippery shower floor and a tiny curb that is now leaking water onto the floor outside the curb. I am having to have a local , very trustworthy contractor come out to gut the shower and put in a whole new one for more than the original cost. This contractor is known for perfection, something I need after being completely ripped off by the incompetent and godawful Re-Bath. Don't even think of calling them unless you are looking for the worst work ever. No shower install takes one day unless, maybe, you are just replacing a shower head. If you go against my advice, and that of the other reviewers who also had bad experiences, you are letting yourself in for world of hurt and a lot more money to fix the horror Re-Bath will leave you with. Trust me when I say it is NOT worth it. Take your time; find a contractor with an excellent reputation; it will be worth it in the years to come. P.S. The pictures are of original. guest tub/shower combo and of the new walk-in shower that Re-Bath installed. Looks good, right? Anything that is as yet unused can look good. But the right side of second picture is where the hinges and screws are pulling. out of the wall.

It looks nice, but cheap materials

Not only was the job rushed, but they use cheap materials. They ruined our ceiling, walls and left a mess. The wall has a huge hole, the vent is ruined and the fixtures are already peeling off. It hasn't even been a month. 11k for a cheap job and I keep getting excuses on when they will fix this. Don't bother

shower, toilet and sink

I was apprehensive about having my tub/shower replaced with a walk-in shower. Especially in only 2-days. The crew, Mike and Victor, arrived on time and ready to deliver their promise. They were very professional and courteous, my dog loved them!! she hung out and was in their way nearly the entire time without a complaint. the work they performed was quick and professional, excellent craftsmanship and problem solving abilities. the end product was more beautiful than I ever expected. the value for services rendered far exceeded my initial expectation as it pleased my wife, whom is notorious for buyers remorse. I am very happy with our decision to use Re-Bath Pacific Coast to make our bathroom beautifu!! As for the wait, it was long. They are very busy. Dustin, whom provided our in home estimate was upfront and honest about the waiting to start time. we are looking forward to having a second bathroom makeover soon and will definitely use the same team. Thanks to everyone at Re-Bath Pacific Coast for delivering above and beyond our expectations. Ron & Francesca Phillips

I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS. DON'T BOTHER HIRING THIS PEOPLE AND RUINING YOUR BATHROOM. THEY ARE BUNCH OF RUDE, DISGUSTING, UNHAPPY PEOPLE WORKING HERE. ALL THEY WANT IS THERE MONEY AND THATS IT. THEY RUINED MY GRANDPARENTS BATHROOM AND THEY DON'T WANT TO OWN UP TO THEIR MISTAKES . I AM MAKING SURE TO POST THIS ALL OVER SO PEOPLE DON'T GO THROUGH WHAT I DID. - Firstly, it is the poor quality material the company has used which is highly unsatisfying. The vanity was damaged with screws sticking out of the drawer. The paint was starting to peel off. - Secondly, the poor quality material, they did horrible labor work. The Celling is not painted the same color, they painted the fan placed on the ceiling, the recess lights were not connected properly . The bathroom does not drain water properly. - Apart from the other two points above , the customer service agents ( Anna Gutierrez Perez and Jennifer ) has no respect. They hang up the phone on you, They don't do as they says, they speak back to you very rudely, they accuses seniors of the damage the company caused, and don't have proper time management. We gave them a total of around $40,000 and there is no reason we would pay someone else to complete the job. I ONLY HAVE THIS PICTURES SAVED ON MY PHONE NOW BUT THERE IS ALOT MORE DAMAGES THEY CAUSED.

I hate to update like this but this is getting ridiculous. During the installation, the overflow drain for the bath was not installed correctly. Once someone took a bath (on the second floor) it flooded the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom destroying the drywall and flooding the light fixture. Of course this was during Thanksgiving weekend when we had family in town and had to call an emergency plumber. We even had to drill holes in the ceiling to get the water out! Since they sell you on this "great" warranty I gave them the benefit of the doubt and have been emailing and calling them. I am now 2 calls in with someone saying they would get back to me, 2 emails in with no response, and one service person coming out when their truck stopped working and had to get towed... It's really sad since I had such a great experience until they couldn't admit they did something wrong which is destroying my only guest bath during the holidays.

Complete tub to shower conversion
Emma F.

Earlier this year, we decided to remodel our only full bathroom. We knew we wanted a shower conversion but otherwise we weren't too sure about what we wanted. After some research we went to Pacific Coast Re-Bath in Oxnard. A small, unassuming show room minimally staffed, we were helped with friendly service and we quickly got an appointment for a consult in a couple of weeks. When our consult came by, he did a great job looking through our bathroom, recommending the type of conversion we should have, and helped us with choosing new flooring and tile for install. He gave us options best on various price points and did a good job with his recommendations. We signed the contract for work to be done within 60-90 days, a bit long but we were fine with it. Now here comes the only source of angst that we had: two month long delays pushed our remodel past our target date. Sure, we were given reasons, and I'm sure they were legitimate, but we waited a significant amount of time for the work to start. We expressed concern and were credited some money back for the delay. We had the work done this week, we were previously told the bathroom would be done by Wed COB and the painting by Friday COB. Both timelines were met with no further delay. Our lead installer, Paul, did an excellent job and was basically a machine. We knew we were dealing with a hard worker when he expressed happiness with the cool weather at our beach condo because it meant less needed breaks so they could work longer. He was friendly, knowledgeable and was the sole reason the remodel looks as great as it does. Our painter, Cesar, was next up for two days of painting. He did the prep work yesterday afternoon, and asked me how early he could start today. He came pretty early, worked all day, coordinated a task between us and the home office, and did a great job with the paint. Throughout the whole process he was friendly and courteous. I'm not sure who these other reviewers have worked with, but I guess I must have got the superstar team. Our conceptual vision was more than satisfied, and I'm pretty sure we have one of the best bathrooms in our complex now. Thanks again to Paul and Cesar for the excellent job!

Paul and Ramon from Pacific Coast Re-Bath were outstanding to work with as they were both extremely skilled, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about removing my bathtub and converting it to an awesome shower. They even helped me by removing an old toilet and installing a new one as well as remodeling my powder room with replacing the tile and vanity. They were both able to address all of my project questions or concerns. They spent time with me making sure the shower and remodel job was customized just how I wanted it to be and had great creative ideas and suggestions. I'm very satisfied with Paul and Ramon's hard work and they are outstanding highly-skilled workers for Pacific Coast Re-Bath. I was impressed and how they took a four or five day job and finished it with no issues and a day or two early. Paul and Ramon would show up right at 8 am and work until late to make sure they did as much work possible for the day. They barely took a break before they were hard at work again and they were very thorough and precise which was definitely showcased in the final product. Paul and Ramon demonstrated outstanding customer service throughout the three days of the project and and I'd highly recommend their service with Pacific Coast Re-Bath to family and friends.

Almost complete. We had the original shower area (pan) widened by 8" and what a difference!

But I really want to give a positive shout out to a recent experience I had with WDC last month. I live at the beach, and my Miele dishwasher that's about 5 years old hasn't had any issues whatsoever, except, from being at the beach, and a second home (not used everyday) over time a couple of the racks have deterriorated with some rusting issues. I ordered two new racks online from Miele before Christmas- they were pretty pricy. But they arrived in what I would call 'funky' condition, there were a couple of loose pieces that both myself, and my super handy husband could NOT figure out. I was sure Miele had sent us defective racks... but before I called them, I decided to take them into WDC hoping that someone there would tell me what was going on. I showed up at WDC on a slow weekday afternoon, because I knew this might take some time, and both Martez Houffen (Sales/Order Fulfillment) and Robert MacDowell (Store Manager/Sales) were a little perplexed with the racks well. At first. But, with EXCELLENT customer service, they took the time to see that the racks were assembled perfectly. Problem solved. WDC is my go to for all of my applicance needs! Thanks Robert and Martez, you made my day!

We made two major purchases from them since we moved to Oxnard, the first was for a Samsung refrigerator that they sold us a 3rd party warranty for. I am pretty sure the reason they don't sell you an extended warranty from the manufacturer (you will get an offer to buy one from the manufacturer if you register your purchase with them) is because they are NOT a Factory Authorized Dealer. I know more than a little about this as I worked for IBM Corporation for 32 plus years and held jobs in sales and sales management that also included managing the relationships with our business partners. There was and is always a fringe of what are called "gray" marketeers who buy factory seconds (defective and/or damaged products or factory returns. It's easy to spot when you walk in the door, there are dozens of manufacturers products on the floor, but delivery can be sketchy and you need to check the products out both in and out of the box. Our Samsung refrigerator was broken more than it worked, the third party warranty company was nationwide, but the actual repair was performed by companies that employed primarily men dressed in paramilitary clothing who spoke bad English and had obviously no formal training from the manufacturer. WDC would ask you call them first, but they were slow in placing our service call so I tracked down a number to the third party directly and eventually got referred to a manager in Dallas, TX who was a decent guy and promised that if our refrigerator broke one more time he would replace it. It did, he lived up to his word, and we got a check in the mail. Remember you are not me, I have thirty two years of training and experience working with a wide range of customers and I can be the last person you want calling you. Not too long after the purchase of the refrigerator we made a much bigger purchase that included: dishwasher, oven. hood and range top. I know, and yes, I didn't claim to always be smart. This time WDC sold us a different 3rd party warranty, Allstate, as in someone bought a piece of the Sear's empire out of a bankruptcy court. Here's a helpful hint, when you go into a WDC store ask to meet the General Manager or get a card from that person, it you do that's like the golden ticket from Willy Wonka. There is no such person, they are all random sales people and if you pursue it they will transfer you to their main location in Moorpark, it's also their HQ. The owner and manager does not live in California and is semi-retired, that is what they told me . The woman who answers the phone is a pit bull and called me a liar and threatened to call the police if I showed up at the door. So much for satisfaction guaranteed. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of WDC, you get what you pay for in this world and and they are bad news and you could end up with defective products that make your life a nightmare.

A contractor referred me to this store to pick out my wood flooring and he specifically recommended that we work with Nicole. I definitely wasn't looking forward to a sudden remodeling project but from the moment my daughter and I walked into the business, and met Nicole, we felt like we had won the lottery! I went from dread to delight in a matter of minutes. Her personality and professional demeanor was refreshing. "Nothing" was hard with Nicole by our sides! Choosing from innumerable samples is my worst nightmare. Nicole easily guided us in the decision making process for our wood flooring, then our tile and finally our cabinets! We actually enjoyed the process! Most importantly, when there were glitches or issues, because that's how life is, Nicole was at her best. She was always available by phone and quickly jumped into action multiple times. We felt extremely confident in her skills and knowledge. We were finally able to get our kitchen updated. My husband and I received a few bids. We selected California Kitchen Creations, they were within 5k of other bids, we selected them over others for a few reasons. 1. Our first encounter with Emily was wonderful. She eased our nerves and she knew exactly what I was looking for, rustic minimalist with a Mediterranean touch. She walked us through the process, how they work and we put a tiny fee, which gets credited to project amount, for a quote and mock up of our design. 2. The quote was very specific and laid out costs for everything and had no hidden charges. There was a definite timeline. This made us relaxed in knowing so we could plan ahead. We also liked the pay as you go process. 3. The design was beautiful and Emily met me at the tile store and was always available for our questions. We rented a pod, which I suggest because the team was able to store their equipment at the end of the work day. Each day they came at the scheduled time and worked until 4:30 pm. No erratic hours. The team cleaned up and put what they could away each day. They were polite to us and my doggies, even though they barked at them. We had a total gutted kitchen so of course there is noise and dust. And there was a plumbing surprise, which really was not a surprise. The supervisors were always one phone call away for issues or answers. I can't say enough. They created a beautiful kitchen for us that we could never imagined. The square footage of our kitchen has not changed, but it feels and looks so much larger now. Our house is so beautiful now. As mid February came around, we had no word from Rebath on the status of the materials. After repeated weekly followups via email and text message, we were told multiple times that the materials had shipped and that Rebath would reach out to us to confirm installation dates and times once the materials have arrived and been verified. This back-and-forth went on for close to two months, and due to the lack of transparency or consistency of information, we began to worry that we had been scammed, and that the large sum of money we had provided up-front in good-faith for the project would be gone. Fortunately, after emailing an ultimatum to Rebath, 1 week later the materials were confirmed delivered and installation was scheduled shortly thereafter. Our installer, Tyler, was awesome - super communicative, transparent, and efficient. The final product result that Rebath installed was great. Without the contractor and his final result, I would have rated them as a zero, as their initial expectations-management was completely off which led us to worry we had been scammed.
