I'm afraid I will have to join the chorus of Lowes dissatisfied customers. I have spent the entire day waiting for an associate to come to the house to measure for window and skylight coverings. I was scheduled to have the measurement done today, August 8 in the "morning", but was given a time slot of 8am-8pm. I never heard from anyone, and I called both the store and the Install Company, MTS Shutter & Blind (see attached photo). MTS answering machine indicated they were closed today. I called Lowes several times and the annoying automated phone answerer had me on hold and hung up on me. I regret considering giving them my business, since I had paid $45 for the measuring appointment. I should have gotten a clue of the quality of service when I had to wait half an hour for any associate to show up in the window covering department to see the products in person. We heard 3 pages requesting help in that department, and finally were helped by Juan after walking to the front of the store to see about getting my $45 refunded. Are they understaffed? DO NOT PURCHASE GENERATOR FROM LOWES. Two day return policy even if doesn't work. I purchased generator on a Wednesday, used it on Saturday and it didn't work. I brought it back following Monday and got stuck with generator that doesn't work. Spent over $1,100 and I'm stuck with it. I will reach out to manufacturer for assistance. These two provided the best customer service I have ever experienced at Lowe's--hands down! We originally visited a different Lowe's location, where they recommended we check out the Oxnard store for a better selection of natural gas fire pits. When we arrived, Cameron and Jonny went above and beyond to help us find exactly what we were looking for. They were knowledgeable, patient, and truly cared about making sure we had a great experience. Waited about 5 minutes for any employee to come help out, finally found another employee who called for someone, waited another 5-10 minutes, no one came. I have purchase many large appliances for my home here. Recently, I bought a Samsung washer and it broke down one month after the manufacturer warranty. What luck! Thank the heavens we bought an extended warranty with Lowe's. I called on a Friday and they sent their repair team on Monday. We haven't had any issues after the repair. Now our dryer broke down 1 month after the manufacture warranty but we bought it and an extended warranty at another store. Hope they're as good as Lowe's. read more

I should have give. This place 5 stars a long time ago. First of all the employees are wonderful and knowledgeable. The store is clean and well stocked. The man in the paint department explained all the different types of paint to me and helped me decide what was best for my son's room. I had two people in gardening help me select the correct plants for my marine layer environment and they are thriving. They are always helpful when you need to find things. They hire a mix of male and female employees and they treat women with respect and dignity unlike some other hardware stores. I never go anywhere else for home and garden needs. This could have been resolved by the first assistant manager, but no. The faucet was made by exclusively for Lowe's. On the third trip I was told to call the company, who called the store and told them to give me the faucet. I don't visit often hence my 3 star review but today I went three times in one day. Originally, my spouse and I went to purchase a new garbage disposal and a new dishwasher. As we were looking for a dishwasher, a man named Manny came over to assist and gave us his recommendations. He then asked us what was the issue with our appliances and he showed us some items that could possibly help us with our issue. We got them and it worked! Manny saved us $1000 so thank you! On our second visit, we returned the garbage disposal we have previously bought (not Manny's fault lol) and was assisted with a lady named Adrienne. She was super sweet and friendly and made our return process seamless. The energy and staff at Lowe's was pleasant and I have a feeling I'll be making a higher review soon! Oh! Although only one cashier was on duty, the line moved quickly. However, when she asked if I had found everything, she was not prepared for my "no" answer other than to apologize (even though it was not her fault). Eric Adams made multiple calls to the source company and then called me with updates. He did his very best but couldn't fix the problem. I went into the store & spoke to a different Eric (his vest said customer service). I was frustrated & angry about the inconvenience. But, did my best to be calm as I explained the problem to the Eric II. I asked for a refund and Eric II was more concerned about the store's inventory being short one planter than he was about doing right by a customer. NEVER use Lowe's to replace your kitchen cabinets!!! I ordered kitchen cabinets 6 months ago and the project is still incomplete with no end date in sight. I have had nothing but problems from day one. The person who measured did not do an accurate job and forgot a whole section on the back side of the island. The "design expert" designed the kitchen, however didn't realize a whole sections wasn't accounted for. In all fairness, they took care of that problem, but it added a few weeks onto the project. The hood above the stove has been sent 4 times incorrect. It is now on order AGAIN, I'm hoping for the best but doubtful. The installation has been a nightmare also. Getting ahold of the installer has been challenging to say the least. He is unresponsive, and doesn't follow up or respond to calls or text. He keeps closing work orders that are not complete. The workers he sends are very good but their hands are tied with finishing my project. I have spent countless hours and too much energy trying to deal with the installation department, only to have them not allow me to speak to a manager. In addition, they changed the installation team mid project (at about the 5 month mark). They reversed that decision after I complained. They don't know how to help with any of the issues I am experiencing. It would have been so much easier and cheaper to go through a contractor.Needless to say, I am furious and so disappointed!! read more
