Love this nursery and appreciate the kind, knowledgeable people that work there! Alonso and Al helped me the other day when I went to buy a blueberry bush. Alonso even helped me by building a small trellis for it. I ended up finding a beautiful semi dwarf navel orange tree and a lot of great garden plants. Appreciate their patience with all my questions and helping me load my car. Definitely stop in and wander around the nursery, they've got a great selection! read more

I recently went to Camarillo Nursery for the first time and was impressed with how knowledgeable and nice the manager was. Alonso gave me a discount on my purchase and a discount coupon for my next purchase and also gave me a free medicinal aloe vera plant. I will be back soon to buy more plants and to get help with my sick citrus trees. I love this place! read more

Moved into a new construction home with nothing but dirt in the back yard. Needed a lot of help in designing the hard scape and soft scape. We spoke with a couple of contractors who were going to sub out the pavers and the landscaping. Don't get me wrong - they all came highly recommended. But we felt we could cut out the middle man and go to the source of the soft scape and went directly to Camarillo Nursery. We met with Robert Bell, the owner and landscape architect. He listened to the things we wanted to have in the yard and came up with a plan that he promised we would love in the price range that we gave him. And he did. He loves his work and it shows in the product he delivers. And we love the yard he designed and delivered for us. read more

Support your local nurseries! Alonso was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Went to this nursery for the very first time yesterday July 19th. Manager Peter was very helpful in showing us to the medium shrubs I was looking for. Then my sister and I received more help from Julia with several choices for low growing filler and medium blooming plants for a large back wall planter. She gave us a wonderful tour of all the plants and the grounds. Great prices and coices compared to the big box stores. Definitely will be going back. read more

The staff is really kind and very knowledgeable. Some things are pricey and others are not. A lot of good quality things. Indoor plants, outdoor plants, soils and fertilizers, and I think they also have pots and fountains. I recommend signing up as a VIP member. You will get monthly emails about healthy recipes, and sometimes you will get a free plant, or fertilizer, and a discount on certain stuff. I like this place. And I support it. I recommend this spot. read more

This is a little hidden gem in Camarillo that sells healthy and beautiful indoor and outdoor plants. The variety of fruit trees offered along with sizes is great. The workers are friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help, without being over bearing. The prices are fair and many things are a great value. Sometimes they offer coupons and online specials so join their email list. read more

Hands down, the best place to get plants and trees. Checked this place out today and this will forever be the place we go to for our gardening needs. Forget Home Depot. This is the place you want to go if you want your greenery beautiful AND healthy. Not sure what to ask for? Ask Al. I have a brown thumb and I'm beyond relieved to know there's a friendly expert who can answer any question. Very excited to turn our back yard into a lush hideaway! read more

Good selection but no return policy, arrogance of "workers" not offering any assistance with management projecting an attitude of "we're here be thankful". I think the management should be grateful that we graced their place of business. Did't see many people on the premises on a Saturday? I wonder why? Moving onto other numerous other nurseries that welcome my business. read more

Great selection and friendly + knowledgeable staff who will counsel you well on the plants you purchase.

Recently went to Camarillo Nursery to shop for houseplant gifts for the holidays. The selection was terrible! Home Depot has a better selection. Ventured out into the nursery, other than the succulent section, the nursery selection was also terrible. If you're looking for 1 gallon plants you're not going to find anything good here. I'm an avid nursery shopper and I was so surprised not to find a bedding section. I will say that the help is very good. read more

To preface - I certainly don't leave reviews often, but I wanted to share my honest experience! Had the best time working with Al. Would absolutely recommend coming to the Camarillo Nursery. The customer service, prices, and plant selections are unmatched! Al took significant time out of his day to assist in finding the plants we were looking for, explain in detail how to care for the plants and beautifully repotted them. 10000/10! read more

I have been to several nurseries throughout California, serving as President for the California Association of Nurseries and Garden Centers, and Camarillo Nursery's quality, service and value are the best I have seen. Their staff is friendly and always willing to help. Alonso is great and is very knowledgeable. He provides very good advice and helps you make the right decisions. All of the plants I have bought are settling in well and are very abundant. I have been back several times since I discovered this nursery a few months ago.
