Been wanting to check out this nursery for some time now and finally had a chance to. Super cute with all the different sized pants . I was looking for a small lavender plant and easily found a bunch thankfully cause of how organized and clearly labeled they were with price and names. I'm in no way a green thumb when it comes to plants. Met the owner David whom didn't make me feel idiotic when asking him how to care for the pants. He taught me how to prune the plants and explained in layman's terms when and how to water them to keep them happy and thriving. read more

There are quite a few different nurseries in Somis. This one is very prominently located next to the corner of Highway 34 and Highway 118. I was looking for a particular type of plant that is actually fairly common, but had to go in and out of several other nurseries until I found exactly what I was looking for right here. I found the staff to be very friendly and courteous, the prices to be reasonable, and the place to be very well organized. Next time I will just be going here first. read more

They have a vast variety not just of your standard plants but many unique varieties in every category and price range. The plants are healthy and affordable. What a hidden Gem! Nested on the corner of the 118 and 34 in Somis. I had passed by many times and I finally decided to stop by. I was blown away by how beautiful this nursery is. Not only was it visually amazing but the owner and his wife were soo sweet and helpful. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my backyard but David, the owner helped me put together a design that turned my plain backyard into such a peaceful gorgeous space. This nursery is by far one of the nicest, well kept and well stocked nurseries I have ever visited. My mother and I were greeted by every employee offered help and had all of our questions answered. I spoke with David Villalpando, the owner and operator of the nursery. He is a wealth of information and a pleasure to do business with. my mom was blown away by how beautiful the plants were, seemingly not a single problem with any one plant or any visible pests or ailments. We were given tips on fertilization, plant care, etc and had the pleasure of walking around the grounds where they have examples of various seating areas, planting arrangements, styles and ideas for inspiration. The prices are fair, the quality is unmatched and it puts big box stores to shame with not only the care of the plants but also the knowledge of the employees. I couldn't rate this any higher. Absolutely the best garden nursery I have ever been to! Really nice selection of super healthy plants, along with owners that run the business and care about what they do. Everything is wonderfully organized, not only by plant types, but also by the size that they grow to. Everything is fairly priced and everyone is super helpful. The extra part I really liked is that it feels like a botanical garden, not just a place to buy plants in pots. Their own permanent landscaping is really well done. They have a nice koi pond and even a place where you can bring a lunch or snack and enjoy the scenery. They have been in business for six years, and I cannot believe I never knew they were there.
