New cactus garden from Sal Cactus Mart

Great service great prices. I drive 4 hours away from my house in Yosimite area for Sal and his team. Great selection also.

More pictures to come of the actual selections!

Service, selection and value!! If you have never been here it is a must see!! When I go back today I will take pictures of sizes and selection!

Absolutely beautiful plants with plenty to choose from. I recommend you come and visit early to ensure to beat the heat. Bring cash as it's easier and they don't charge tax. They have wheelbarrows to help you shoo around. Staff is very knowledgeable and help you pick the best plants for your needs. Keep it up team!

We drive 1.5 hrs to shop from this cactus farm. Javier is so helpful and the fair prices are truly appreciated. We love the variety and the multiple sizes of each plant to choose from. We make this shopping trip once or twice a year!

We've drive by this place all the time and always say we want to stop. Finally had an empty pot so we made a trip out. So happy we did. The place is MASSIVE I had no idea it was so big. Seems to be family owned and they were so kind and helpful. And there is no way you'll find a better price anywhere else. They also deliver, will plant them for you at your home. You can bring your pots and they'll plant them or they'll come to your home and pot them as well.

Fair prices & incredible selection. Great nursery for cactus lovers and people looking to landscape their property with large, well rooted plants. Would also recommend touring the grounds, feels like a botanic garden (without the labels). And would suggest asking Francisco if you have any trouble finding anything, he was knowledgeable and very friendly.

Easy access off of hwy 126, but don't drive too fast down Grand or you'll miss the driveway to Sal's. He's got a large variety of cacti in different sizes and some succulents. I got my totem pole cactus (at just over 5" tall, this was the smallest one he had) for a very reasonable price.

I love sals cactus mart! The plants are all so healthy and so reasonably priced! But my favorite item at Sals are the painted rock houses! Really charm up my outside planters!

CASH ONLY! & Bring your own bags or a box - they do not provide any bags or boxes. Also before you start make sure to grab a cart!! Prices are cheap - it is a wholesale from I believe $2.95 to no more than $100 (Unless your planning on purchasing a HUGE palm tree or something!!) Acres and acres of different types of plants and especially cactus!

Wear walking shoes because this nursery is 5 acres! Great service. Very reasonable prices. Numerous species and container sizes. We will definitely return...with a pickup! A wonderful shopping trip.

Simply CACTI HEAVEN at Sal's Cactus Mart. An amazing place. Erica is so extremely helpful and so very friendly. If you love Cacti this is the place for you. And the bargain prices are truly unbelievable. You must go.

140.00, about 5 ft tall. Perfect

When Brandon (my contact) told me which plants they intended to install, I told him some wouldn't survive the hot, dry, full-sun location. He insisted they would work, and told me they all had a one-year guarantee. Within three months, when they started to die, I sent him photos and asked that they be replaced with others. Despite promises they would be changed (at least six times over the next few months), they were never replaced. Likewise, the artificial turf that was installed was not installed with enough/the right adhesive and the turf has become a serious tripping hazard. Again, calls to Brandon were met with promises that someone would come out to fix it, and no one ever did. Repeated messages were not returned. Last month an obviously broken irrigation pipe under the tile/artificial turf they installed caused flooding in my yard. When I called the company to ask for someone to come out to evaluate what could be done, Jordan told me Brandon no longer worked for the company. (I guess that explains why my messages weren't returned.) Jordan told me he was Brandon's replacement, and that he would be out in two days to take a look. 10 days later, he came out and confirmed it was a broken pipe, but said my warranty had expired and there would be a charge to repair the pipe. He told me it would require the large tiles and turf to be demolished to find the problem, but he'd send me an estimate. It's been over a month and again, I've been ghosted. I consulted another irrigation specialist who told me that if a pipe underground ha broken, it was likely cracked when it was installed. I hope this serves as a warning for anyone considering paying this company to do landscaping and installation.

I decided to make one more stop, and I pulled into this place. I'd driven past this place countless times. They've got several places down the 126, and I did pull into two of them thinking of buying a plant for my patio. "Third time's the charm" I thought to myself as I pulled into the lot with a semi trailer advertising for the place. I saw other cars and realized I was in the right lot. I got out of my car and started meandering around, looking at the multitudes of potted plants, all organized by type. They had pots of every size, from small desk-pot sized to giant tree-sized pots. Before too long somebody came out to greet me and help me out. I explained my needs; I needed something that was kinda cool looking, and nigh-indesctructable. I have a tendency to forget that plants need watering and care and stuff. I excitedly buy plants, and then put the plants on my patio and then tend to wonder why I have pots with sticks several months later. Benjamin furrowed his brow and lead me over to an aisle of plants. He began pointing out the ones that were more difficult to kill. We hadn't gotten very far down the row before a bush caught my eye. It was a greenish thing with some deep red leaves. It certainly fulfilled the "looking kinda cool" requirement. Benjamin said it was fairly hardy, and drought resistant. That went along way for requirement #2. I decided to get it. I expected it to be a fairly expensive purchase, but was very relieved when Benjamin said it was only twenty bucks. He picked up the plant and brought it over to the trailer that served as their office. He punched my credit card info into the computer, and rang me up. He then put the plant in a great big bag that prevented the dirt from getting all over the trunk of my car. He offered to bag the top as well, to prevent leaves from getting all over the trunk of my car, but I declined. I was more concerned with dirt, leaves I could pick up easily enough and toss out. (Which happened when I got home.) He even carried it over to my car and loaded it into my trunk. Nice job Benjamin. I drove home and planted the bush, and marveled at the price. A paltry twenty bucks for this cool lookin bush that was nearly up to my chest. If at some point I discover one of my pots has a bunch of sticks in it, I'll certainly head back here for something else.

One of the things we truly appreciate is Norman's planting guarantee--if any of the trees don't thrive, they will replace them. They were delivered within a few days. Unfortunately, they didn't bring the items we tagged but Daniel got it sorted out right away and they were delivered the very next morning.
