I consider it a tremendous gift to have found Hector and the team at 805 Flooring. We had water damage on Thanksgiving 2023 and had moved out of our condo with two kids under 4 and two dogs in tow and the previous contractor we found was stringing us along. They had emptied our house and done some demolition but everything was at a standstill and they were dragging their feet. Then I called 805 Flooring and they delivered for us in every way imaginable. Hector came out the same day I called him, gave me a very fair estimate within 48 hours and had started work within a week. Their work was efficient and thorough, we couldn't believe the progress they made in such a short time. At every moment, they communicated what was happening, what they needed (as far as choosing materials, paint colors etc.) and when they expected things to be complete or ready for the next step. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and got exactly what we wanted. Aside from the fact that they completed the work in about half the time I was expecting it to take a contractor, what struck me walking into the finished house was the quality of the workmanship. The previous floors had some noticeable gaps and difficult areas to fully cover, but every inch of our house was done with such precision and care. We have a new house - floors, paint, baseboards. While we were moved out, I also hired Hector's team to help redo our kitchen while they were here and the results are fantastic. They repainted the cabinets and helped with appliances. I'm so impressed with Hector and his team at 805 Flooring! I called them up after seeing their reviews on Yelp! because I didn't know who else to call. I recently purchased a new home with carpeted stairs and around that same time I adopted two super cute pug puppies, one of them with a desire to eat everything - including my new home's carpeted step! The first step on our stairway had been puppified. Totally chewed to shreds. It was a huge eyesore. Actually and unfortunately, many items in our home didn't survive the puppy years. My patio furniture cushions - completely shredded. The legs on my dining room table, chewed on. My expensive juke rug peed and pooped on. Door mats chewed to shreds, Zories (Google it if you don't know what this is) chewed to threads, you get my drift. And, I desperately needed to find someone that wouldn't mind coming out and replacing the carpet and pad for me. We still had leftover carpet from the day we moved in, I just needed to find someone to work on that one step for me, and Hector answered the call. Thank God! I was so impressed with his kind personality, and his desire for perfection! I made the appointment and him and a couple of his guys came out to my house and they fixed the step in a very thorough and professional manner, diligently cleaning up after themselves throughout the whole process to be sure my home was clean and all the debris was immediately removed. I let my pugs visit with them and then put them away so the crew could fix the step. My puppies were afraid of their noisy machines, so I put them in the yard where they could watch through the sliding glass doors. Afteward I let my puppies in to visit with the workers and get some pets and loves. The stairway looks so good now that they fixed the step. In fact, I will go to them now for every floor repair! During the demo we discovered damage to the subfloor, courtesy of my dog.
