It's going to be painful to pack up all the breakables, books, lamps, etc. and move furniture around to re-do the flooring, but it's got to be done. Our handyman contractor recommended this resource for buying the new flooring materials. It was a bit overwhelming when we first entered the showroom, but we received orientation as to the options and where to find each. Though we originally went in thinking of engineered hardwood, like we have upstairs, with the water considerations, especially in the kitchen, we are thinking of new generation laminate. It's easy to install, and has great waterproof functionality. It has texture and varied pattern, too. We're just about ready to finalize our measurements and place the order. Their prices are extremely competitive and many styles are in stock for immediate availability. Tony has been very helpful getting us up to speed on this big purchase.

Our experience with these guys was a bummer all around... Mo…read moreassured us they could closely match our existing wood floors, which is why we hired WFG for the quote provided (about 30% higher than our avg quote.) The floors are a completely different color than our existing older hardwood. I understand that the match was never going to be exact, but I am disappointed in how far off they are. If matching aged flooring was never possible, they should not have set our expectations otherwise. When I asked Mo if he thought the color was close, he said they were "maybe 10% different", which I believe was a dishonest answer. The floors are also extremely soft - just lightly pushing a finger nail into them leaves a dent. My guess is they bought cheap planks, made of young lumber that is not as strong as our original floors. The planks were not sanded well either, the surface has bumps that can be felt even with the finish complete.

We learned a lot and thought we had found the right brand at the right store at a decent price. Then she wanted to go to one more store, and I was reluctant but went...and boy was she right (this is not normal for her). Norvand was working with some other customers at first, but then showed us the brand we thought we'd settled on, then he compared it to a higher quality brand and gave us a remarkable price that almost felt too good to be true. He came off a bit blunt at first, but after working with him for a bit now, he is honest, genuine, and kind. His wife is also very nice, she works at the store as well. We did not have his team install the flooring as we already had a contractor, but he was very communicative throughout the whole process (even after we needed to order 3 extra boxes after coming up short) and he was straightforward. We got LVP, moisture barrier plastic, and MDF base boards, all at prices that were great. He even stored my dolly over night when I forgot it there during the pick-up. Big fan. A must stop when looking at flooring!!

We recently had Timeless Floors come to our home for a quote on kitchen backsplash. Initially,…read moreJackie, an owner was pleasant to deal with. We picked out the tile, an order was placed, and waited for an install date. When the workers arrived, they were friendly and quick. One day install. Then came the issues. When I tried to reinstall the plugs and face plates, it became obvious they would not fit flush as the tile created a gap between outlet and outlet box. An employee offered a solution that did not work. When I called Timeless, they quoted me up to $450 to fix the issue. An issue they created with the install. After multiple 'heated' calls and a lot of finger pointing, they sent someone from the office to fix the problem. I actually had to research a solution and purchase the necessary parts myself! I understand construction projects can and will have issues. What sets a good company apart from a bad or mediocre company is how the problems are resolved. When I brought up our issues to Timeless, I got nothing but pushback and a condescending attitude from Felipe, a co owner. In the end, they sent someone that fixed the issues. Had they initially accepted responsibility and sent someone out, this review would not have been posted. Curious as to why Felipe, an owner, inspected the kitchen to give us a quote and never once mentioned that this may be a problem! So after the job Timeless Floors did with our backsplash, I'm rating them mediocre at best. Read all their reviews! Note after owners comment: Jackie, there was never any extra electrical work needed! The installers removed the outlets without disconnecting any wires. They were not electricians! We only asked that they be installed back as they were before the backsplash was installed. After some research, it turned out to a fairly straightforward fix but did require a specialized tool that I did not have to enlarge the opening around the outlet area. Total time Joey spent fixing it - less than an hour! And again, nothing Joey did to reinstall the outlets correctly required an electrician!!
