After our water heater and refrigerator did a number on different parts of our downstairs floor, it's time to start anew. It's going to be painful to pack up all the breakables, books, lamps, etc. and move furniture around to re-do the flooring, but it's got to be done. Our handyman contractor recommended this resource for buying the new flooring materials. It was a bit overwhelming when we first entered the showroom, but we received orientation as to the options and where to find each. Though we originally went in thinking of engineered hardwood, like we have upstairs, with the water considerations, especially in the kitchen, we are thinking of new generation laminate. It's easy to install, and has great waterproof functionality. It has texture and varied pattern, too. We're just about ready to finalize our measurements and place the order. Took me awhile to complete this review - But this place - especially the Manager Roger - was involved in one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. My wife shopped at the store with her friend and her son as they were looking at some flooring also. Spoke with a gal - who took my wife's order and set up an install. When the workers came to install, there was a problem with the order. Now this gal - whose name escapes me so she's lucky I guess - argues with my wife on the phone about the order, saying "I told your son..." Excuse me Miss Sunshine - that was my friend's college age son...why are you confusing me with their order? Two installers listened in on the speaker phone conversation seemed embarrassed that a customer was being talked to that way, and attempted (successfully) to help the situation. On to Roger - who two days later called my wife with me listening on speaker and basically threatened us for final payment. We had leftover materials that we needed to return. Roger was very rude and insistent, constantly steering the conversation away from his rude female worker to the "You better pay or else" attitude. I told him I would be at the store the following day at 1:00 pm to personally speak with him, return the materials and discuss his female worker. I entered the next day at 12:55 pm - and spoke with a young man at the counter - who would deal with final materials return/payment. Roger wasn't there - he was "out on a job"...when the worker finally got in touch with Roger on the phone - stating that he had an appointment with me, he told the worker that he's "not coming in"- Complete chicken sh!t move. We set up an appointment, and you need to go "on a job" to supervise? Then tell your guy at 1:40 pm (because he called you three times before he finally got in touch with you) that you weren't coming in? Also - at 1:35 pm - in walked that gal with the remnants of her lunch break. Funny how you knew I was coming in at 1:00 pm - so she goes off to lunch - maybe not to confront me and hear about her total unprofessional behavior towards my wife on the phone? To sum up: The installers were amazing. Roger and the gal were horrid - and the young man at the front handled the situation as best he could. If there is a higher up person than "Manager" Roger - I would speak to them. Roger & that woman are woefully unprepared to handle inquires and problem solving techniques. Also - we've had several families complement us on our floors - they do look great - and when they asked where we bought it...we did not recommend this place...and never will. read more

***company is a rip-off*** I only have them a one because you can't go any lower on Yelp. Called twice and spoke to two different sales reps. Assured me the flooring would be delivered within 3-5 days, so I made the purchase. No word from them, so called back two days later and was told then that is actually 7 days and I was told wrong. If that wasn't enough, the factory (their a reseller by the way) shipped three days later and that's when the clock starts ticking. I needed this quickly because of a project. Wouldn't have purchased had I know the truth. When I called to complain was given a series of excuses that basically said it was not their problem. Even spoke to a manager who gave me the same. Just recently purchased 2200 sq ft of flooring from the flooring factory and very much enjoyed the customer service inside at the factory upon purchase. We decided to have them install as well. That was our mistake. Erick was our installer and it began with lots of miscommunication as well as leaving our house dirty and equipment everywhere. They left open razor blades, power tools, drinks, staples out of box, and cigarettes lying around my house at night (just to name a few of many issues). Extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate to our home. Many of those items left out could kill my dogs when they came in at night. Contract was not complete regarding toilets, mess clean up, pre arrival timing, and communication. Flooring is complete and looks great but it wasn't fun getting to this point. We will NOT be recommending flooring factory to anyone solely because of the installing team. Take your business elsewhere. read more

***Rip-off Company*** I called to get a quote on flooring and I was given $1.49/sf so I thought it's not a bad deal. I drove there few days later to inquire about the laminate wood and I was given a price of $1.69/sf. I mentioned to the sales person (Tony) who claimed to be the manger there that I was given $1.49/sf just few days ago. He said that he can't do that dispute the 2500sf flooring I'm getting it but he can offer $1.59/sf. I figured it's not that far off so let's move forward. I placed the order and purchased padding and baseboards and accessories. This was a Friday night. He mentioned that the wood is not at the location but it will be on Tuesday or I can pick up from Pacoima on Monday since it's there at the manufacturer site. I said that's fine. I'll have my flooring guy pick up the wood from Pacoima and the other material from the store. He assured me that everything will be ready on Monday. I called money to let him know that I'll have my guy pick up the stuff on Wednesday as he is finishing up other stuff for me. I also added few additional items on the phone and told him that the flooring guy will pay when he picks up the materials. 10 mins later Tony called to let me know that the flooring is not ready and there is only 40 boxes at the Pacoima location and that the rest will be there on the following Monday. Also that the baseboards are short in the store and that I would have to come Thursday in the afternoon to pick up. I explained to him that it's not right to have me pay and promise that everything is available to realize that most of the material are not. I asked to speak to a higher manager. Apparently there another manager by the name of (Roger) The disappointing part is that Roger never cared to even return my call so I can express what happened. Anyhow, I called again and Tony picked up. After a long conversation he mentioned that most of the baseboards are there but I would be missing 5 pieces. So I said that's fine. I'll take what you have and just refund me the difference. To make the story short, my guy went to Pacoima to pick up the 40 boxes and he was told that the 40 boxes are sold and were given to another person. I spoke with the Pacoima store to express that this is not right. So the lady there mentioned that my guy can go to another location in city of industry to pick up the whole order there of 130 boxes. I convinced the flooring guy to do so. On Friday night I went to the house to follow-up on the progress to realized that more than half of the baseboards are not there. To make it worse the base boards were not what I ordered. And they were in bad shape. I ordered cork padding for the upstairs that should come in protected box but half of the order were lose and broken. The additional items that I ordered such as the T-molding were not there. Someone can imagine how upset I was for few reasons: 1. They wasted my time 2. They provided wrong and defected product 3. Missing items. 4. Bad service addressing my order 5. My guy had to drive further to pick up floors and charged me over $200 for his time I called and wanted to speak with the manager (Roger). Fortunately he picked up. I explained to him what happened. He put me on hold to verify with Tony the scenario and came back saying there is nothing we can do for you and if you want to dispute the charges then go ahead. I told him that I just want them to fix the order by picking up the defected parts and deliver the right one. They refused and didn't care to address the concerns. Sure enough, I called the credit card to dispute the charges. By careful they are FRAUD read more
