I came for a full experience "girl dinner"/celebration of life and its blessings and temporariness type vibe. The host at the door was lovely, kind. My server was really sweet and helpful. I would say it took a while for her to get over there and take the order, but it was actually perfect timing for me to look at the menu and make decisions and considerations of everything available, so no real sweat. I was seated outside as I requested. I'm unhoused, so I'd say the other people dining actually made me feel uncomfortable, not so much my server or anything, but I'm confident where they are insecure, so I continued to enjoy my night. At some point a couple went from outside to inside after I arrived, so that was hilarious and I was grateful to be rid of their poor energy and auras A nice Montgomery Ambassador named Aaron helped me find the place too. I originally ordered the Charcuterie Board, Caesar salad, Trilogy tacos (substituted the pork for the mushrooms), Drumheller Merlot, Pickle fries, and Red Velvet Cake. I was super excited and deeply underwhelmed. At least there were lights, fresh air and a decent view overlooking the city and its scapes. It's kinda only worth returning for that, but the tacos (the shrimp and vegetable) were actually more delicious than I expected. I wish I would've known the brisket one would have been so ew and I would've just got two vegetable taco substitutions. The brisket one was super oily and tasted like pork, but they said it was beef. I sure hope so, but it stunk like pork. I don't eat pork. Anyways, the pickle fries were kinda good, but got cold so quickly so, eh and then they got hard--the ones breaded with not much pickle inside ....AND they didn't have ranch, they didn't have any salad, they didn't have the Roasted brussel sprouts, they didn't have the Red velvet cake--they didn't have ANYTHING. LMFAO. So--management please do better. Though they did have this moldy, old, stinky Diary of a Wimpy Kid cheese-touch, poor excuse for a Charcuterie Board. I've seen homeless snack bags look better than this priced at $24 A complete and total joke. You could make one at home (if you have one ) So, Extremely annoying and inconvenient. They said they were awaiting a delivery, so that was super disappointing and that was on a Sunday....before New Years and I feel like that was so second-hand embarrassing trying to spend money to get it out of your possession and they don't have anything to serve me. The ambiance is great! Our server Titus was awesome! The pizza was good but it took forever. Pretty much everything else was lacking. The charcuterie was a couple of slices of cheddar and some planters nuts. The mahi came without the sauce. The hummus was served with cauliflower crust instead of pita. And the portions were weird. The pizza was delicious but sloppy and took ages to arrive. The lavender lemonade was pretty much the only drink we enjoyed but the second time we ordered it they apparently ran out of the Empress gin and served it with Hendricks instead. This was genuinely one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Granted, we were a large party (14) and knew we'd put a strain on them, but it was so abysmally bad that I couldn't help but write a review. For starters, we asked for a drink menu and was told they just opened two weeks ago (ummm... that's not true) and could make anything-- except what we asked for. I asked about their "signature drinks" and was told again they could make anything. They couldn't. Over the course of the four hours we were there trying to get any drinks/food, we got one drink, no refills on anything (including water) despite repeatedly asking, and our food wasn't served for 2.5 after we got there. To top it off, the food was terrible, many of our orders were incorrect (come on-- a charcuterie board really isn't that complicated) and our bills were a mess. I paid $50 for a single cocktail and an order of dry sliders (all three beef burgers despite that not being my order). The restaurant is cute-- except the dead massive cockroach hanging out by the bathrooms. Not worth it, y'all. It took an hour to get our checks cleared, so we couldn't even run away lol read more

Ordering drinks, getting the drinks, server checking on us. We would have ordered another round but our server disappeared for almost an hour. I have been to this rooftop bar on two occasions. The first was several months ago and the second was last night. The atmosphere is great and with last night's cooler temperatures, the rooftop was a wonderful place to be. Unfortunately, on both occasions service has been absolutely terrible. The first time, we sat at the bar, which was not busy, and it took over 20 minutes for someone to ask for our drink order, as they saw us getting up to leave. Last night, I stood in the foyer for approximately five minutes waiting to be seated, only to have at least two servers walk past me several times without stopping to see if I needed anything. I stopped one server and asked if I could sit out on the patio and I was told to grab any table that I wanted. More than 20 minutes went by and no one had come by to take a drink order or to give me a menu. I stopped a server and ask for a menu which was provided about five minutes later. More than 20 minutes later, no one had come to take my drink order, so I stopped a different server and ordered a glass of wine. About 15 minutes after that I still did not have my glass of wine so I got up and went to the bar and ordered a glass of wine only to have the two bartenders look at each other in a way that suggested to me they were trying to decide which one was going to pour a glass of wine. I looked at them and said "please, forget it. I'll go to the restaurant downstairs." After having fabulous service at the downstairs restaurant, I returned to the rooftop bar to have a small plate of food and a glass of wine before going to my room. The service was better and the hostess apologized for the poor service earlier in the evening, yet my food was delivered to me (sliders which were delicious) but the napkins showed up after I finished eating. The service was better than the two prior visits but still lacking. The poor service ruins what could be a great hotel experience and it seems to be management because I messaged the front desk to advise that my room had trash cans which had not been emptied from the previous guests and that I had to search for the TV remove which was found on the floor under a chair. The response form the front desk was we're sorry you had this experience. This is a place with tremendous potential, plagued by poor management and service. read more

The food was great but the server asked me to taste a margarita as she didn't think the bartender put the right booze in it. That usually doesn't happen at a high end establishment. My season salad was $18 my Margarita was 12. The bill came to forty five dollars I threw down sixty. She came back with two dollars and some change. I was a waitress in BOSTON for many many years. Shoddy work at best. I hope they like the fifty percent mark up on my bill plus tip of of fifteen dollars on the forty five which was a bogus amount. ($30.00) I would've fixed this myself but I was out trying to have a good time with 6 friends. I took Hotel and restaurant management as did my brother in the service. The Waterworks was AMAZING! KiKi was our server and she has a beautiful spirit and energy! She recommended our food and we are glad we took her recommendations. We had lemon pepper wings crispy, and the rooftop pizza. DELICIOUS!!! KiKi is so sweet and personable. We also had a gentleman, Jeremiah, come to our table and check on us periodically through the night. He was nice as well. His customer service was top tier and we appreciate his kindness. The food and ambiance of this place was absolutely amazing! However, there were quite a lot of issues my partner and I experienced with our server (named Dominique) and the service he provided. Dominique did not remember our order several times, forgot our food and drinks, neglected us for the majority of our meal, completely ignored us/walked by us to help other patrons, added items onto our receipt at the end, etc. If I'm being completely honest- I think this was homophobic behavior. Dominique was kind and courteous to everyone around us but treated my boyfriend and I like crap. "Beautiful restaurant with great food ,amazing atmosphere and great service. It's a speakeasy, so the music was good, but not loud where you couldn't talk to the person next to you.. Our server Shantel was very knowledgeable, friendly and the service was quick, even while the establishment was packed.. The bartenders were also very attentive.. Came the week it opened and the food was great! Rooftop atmosphere was nice! We brought our 2 year old son and my 70 year old parents. Tried to go back tonight for dinner at 6pm and were not allowed to eat with our son. They won't allow anyone under 21 even before a certain hour!!
