I see why I've heard nothing but great things about this place. I am so glad I finally got to make it in. Came on a Friday around 5 and it was still very busy (they close at 6). Luckily we got to place our orders and the wait really wasn't that bad. The Lucille? Chef's kiss. The crust? The pizza overall? Just DELICIOUS. I will definitely try to make it anytime I'm in Montgomery now. The decor is also very funny. I loved the theme lol. Pro tip: Call your order in so you can make the wait a little shorter. read more

On a recent trip to Montgomery from Birmingham, we decided to try this place out. They are currently sharing a space/kitchen with Prevail Coffee on Dexter Avenue. My guy called to make sure they would be open since it the week of Christmas. The guy on the phone, after answering that they were open, proceeded to text a menu and the address to us. Great customer service!!! Upon arriving, and after a little confusion as to how to place an order (due to the coffee shop staff), we ordered a meat lovers.com and a build your own with Alfredo base, bacon and beef. Both were personal sized. After a short week and the owner coming out to give us an update on our order, the pizzas arrived. They looked just as delicious as pictures had showed. They also tasted as good as they looked. The cheese was really cheesing, and had that mozzarella pull you see in movies and magazines. The toppings were fresh and flavorful. Both the red sauce and the Alfredo sauce were measured perfectly. The crust was a star and could easily be a meal by itself...it was just that good. The pizzas should come with a side of red sauce for dipping the crust in. The owner (I think his name is Cedric) came out , chatted with us, discovered we were from Birmingham, and apologized that we didn't get to visit his regular location as they are making some repairs. He was very down to earth and we encouraged him to look into coming to the Birmingham market. We could tell that he put his heart into his work and he has taught that also to his employees. I really hopes he looks in to branching out. He has something special with these pizzas. If you're in the area, please check them out. You won't regret it! read more

If you come to Montgomery (my hometown) one thing you would notice is that most everybody is it a big, fat or both that is because we know how to eat with stems from knowing how to prepare a good food. This pizza is some of the best that I've ever had from around the world. I invite my fellow, yup elites to try one of these pieces and see what you think because I could be biased. Tips 1) it's hard to stop eating this pizza; you say you're going to eat one slice and that almost never happens. 2) although they don't advertise it, the crust is stuffed!!! 3) the small can easily feed three people. read more

Driving from Florida to Kansas. Stopped in for a grab and go. Loved the atmosphere. Walked in was greeted by gentleman and took our order. Offered us a free bottle of water or Faygo. About twenty minutes later we had our 4 pizza's (two Boujee Aunties, Pepperoni and a Lucille). The crust was delish! Very soft and braided. The fried chicken by itself was seasoned well and not over cooked! The pizzas were delicious! This is an awesome place to get a grab and go no seating, but would probably be good just to eat on stoop too. Glad we could support a black owned business and have a on the road lunch! read more

My sister has been telling me to try this pizza ever since I got to Montgomery and I am so glad I finally had a chance to try it out. I got talked into getting a personal pizza and no regrets. I got half meat lovers and half veggies and both were so good. I didn't have to wait too long, and the folks there were so nice. There's a tip jar, and they have a Venmo / cashapp account if you don't have cash for tip. LOVE Definitely the best pizza I've had ever. read more

With a name like "Can a Brotha Get a Slice", we knew we had to check out this pizza spot. We called a couple of times to successfully get through to place an order. The owner is very upbeat and personable even over the phone. We ordered two personal pan pizzas - meatlove.com which was basically a meat lovers pizza with pepperoni, sausage, beef, and bacon, and damn baby which had honey pecan chicken. We also got "shaquita knotz, baby I love you edition". These were garlic breadsticks with cheese and bacon. We arrived a little later than the pickup time and we had to wait a few minutes for the pizza to be ready. The pizzas looked beautiful. The braided crusts and the browning on them was very nice and the pizzas had visible seasoning. I must say that we were surprised that they tasted even better than they looked! The crust was fantastic - soft, chewy, and it was folded over the pizza so some toppings were baked into it. The ingredients were of quality and the sauce and pizza in general were very well seasoned. The value was very good as we were stuffed after eating 1.5 slices and some garlic bread. If there was one disappointment, it was the garlic bread. It didn't have much garlic flavor so it basically tasted just like the pizza. This place is in a duplex, it's tough to get through to order, you pay outside and you can't walk inside but with all of that said, you need to check them out. read more

The pizza was great, I was visiting my sister from Cleveland, OH introduced me and my wife to your establishment. The customer service was excellent and pizza was delicious! We always enjoyed there pizza's. But IMO, the pizzas haven't been the same since the owner was absent due to an incident. The pizza and toppings used to be thick, cheesy, moist, full of oregano, and garlic flavor. The supreme pizza we had recently was thin, hardly no sauce, very little cheese, no bell pepper or onions, had big leaves on it, and the crust was dry and not brushed with garlic sauce. It tasted Ok, but we won't be visiting for a while because we liked the way it used to be fixed. read more

The restaurant is nice in the ordering the food was decent and quick. Their food quality was excellent. You should go and try it out. Pricing was good and inside was a nice experience. The services were great too with good help and support. read more

There's no consistency on quality of what you get. Half the time my pizza comes with only half of the advertised ingredients. When all ingredients are on the pizza and it is cooked properly it's delicious. A few times the pizza dough was partially raw. Pick up times are never accurate and have to wait 20 extra minutes even though I got there 10 minutes past their given pick up time. Wish they would close their door as bugs and specifically flies get in and contaminate the food. Only once had the pizza sauce tasted off. I would even say spoiled. I'm mainly bothered I don't get the ingredients I paid for. My last few pizzas are missing at least three ingredients. read more

I saw this place on tik tok and planned to get pizza during our road trip to Georgia from Texas and planned out the passing through Montgomery during the business hours of this restaurant and unfortunately it was closed. Looks to be closed down, with the signage being removed and the established seem vacant. We were super excited to try the bougie auntie and anti-oinker pizza. If this establishment is open, please respond so I can update this review! read more

This is not a sit down restaurant, place your order and take it to go! That was no problem for me. The person at the register somehow knew that my friend was a Virgo which was... interesting but that didn't deter us from ordering. This place came highly recommended by a friend. They were out of the wings when we came but we each got a personal pepperoni pizza. The pizza was FIRE! We ate half our pizzas right there in the parking lot. No shame! I would come again but I was only in Alabama for a few months for training. If you order a pizza, you get a free drink or water of your choice which I thought was nice. The restaurant is decorated with objects from popular black movies which were cute! A must visit if you're in Montgomery. read more

There ain't no seatin', but there's plenty of eatin'. I've been to New York. I've been to Chicago. But I've gotta tell you, I'm not sure I've had better pizza than at this joint in Montgomery, Alabama. If you want to sit down and eat it, that's too bad. There's no seating. We ate it on their back porch. But that somehow made it even more awesome. The guy taking the order recommended the Savage. How was it? It was Savage. The crust was perfect, and the way they twist the edges makes it even better. The sauce was seasoned in such a way to enhance the overall pizza flavor. And the toppings? I don't even know what all was on it. It had pepperoni, sausage (I think multiple types)...heck, I think it even had fried chicken on it. And somehow it all worked. Beautifully. Can A Brotha Get A Slice seems like too long of a restaurant name, but they can call it whatever they want if they're making pies like this. This should be a culinary destination for anyone even remotely close to Alabama's capital. read more

Pizza was amazing. I really enjoyed it. Great customer service. Food was hot and good.

While preparing for TT duty, I had time to spare and found this place on Yelp and noticed it had the same address of another business I had bookmarked. Happy Friday to me as I get to try both! I called and was told I could come in and place my order. Nice place that is shared with the other business. I ordered half pepperoni, half cheese. Oh my word, the cheese, the sauce, the crust, all ingredients were top quality. Nice size slices, reasonably priced. The young man who took the order and delivered to my car was very nice and helpful. Check it out, I don't think you will be disappointed. read more

I ordered like 7 different pizzas for a party at Officer Training School and they were ready in 40 minutes, which was perfect because that's how long it took for us to get ready and drive over. Love their pizza, I ordered a person 8" pan. You can get thin trust or a twist crust. I just had to try the twist crust (but I'm sure the thin crust is amazing too). The regular crust Is very thick though. I had the veggie pizza and it was CHESSY! There was a prefect balance between all of the toppings and the cheese. The pizza also smells sooooo good! Everything is made to order. I waited about 10 mins before getting the food delivered to my car. There's a small backyard/parking lot to Park in. You know, the real test of pizza is how it will taste the next day. I just knew there was no way for it to. be enjoyable the next day.....I was wrong! Popped it in oven to reheat, and the pizza was as good it was the night before. My aunt talked about this pizza for two days--obviously with good reasons! Apple Pay Is accepted! read more

Unique flavors you will only get with this pizza and no other place will compare. Let me say that quality takes time so when you order expect to get a freshly made pizza. With tax and all I spent $28 which was nice considering size, taste and overall quality. Customer service was top notch and all safety precautions were taken. From Me: There are three things that make a great pizza place - the ownership and the vibe the place gives off of people that care about delivering a great product - the pizza - the crest thick or thin and the quality of the toppings and the quality of the final product. We have all had bad pizza and we have had great pizza. The other important thing is the price cause pizza can feed a large host on a budget - thus it has been a popular food item among the young and particularly college kids since the beginning. I bought a large with sausage onions and mushrooms for $24 and it could have fed 4 or two me's. Can A Brotha get a Slice is good handmade pizza. they have alot of unique pies that you can see below in the AI generated review. These are nice guys as well. When you put this place in your GPS you really have to pay attention because there is only a sign directing you to the back of what looks like a business/small house. When you arrive there is only about 5 spaces to park and it's tight so be careful. You place your order at a tent outside then they bring it to your vehicle. I went on a Saturday afternoon around 3, and they were busy, there was a line and the phone was ringing off the hook. They are friendly and explained the menu where I had questions. I opted for the big ugly, personal size and it could've fed 2 people. The box was heavy. When I opened it I could smell the ingredients everything tasted fresh and was reeeeaaalllyyy good. I had to wait only a few minutes for another patron to exit per COVID-19 social distancing. However, when I finally went in, my pizza was ready.
