Came in on a Tuesday and was sat immediately. The restaurant was very quaint and cozy, especially for a rainy evening. Our server Olivia was very attentive and made some great suggestions for us out of towners. We decided to start with a Ceasar salad which they make the dressing in house, it had good flavor but i like added fresh pepper on my ceasar's. The croutons were also buttery which was a pleasant surprise. I had the mushroom ravioli, anything truffle infused is usually my go to. The ravioli had very good flavor, and a good balance of ingredients and truffle. The cream sauce was so delicious and I loved the added mushrooms, parm and parsley on top. My fiance got the midtowner. He said it was very good, he really enjoyed their in house bread. The bacon was perfectly crunchy and gave a good balance with the chicken and pesto aioli. We got a cannoli for dessert, it was also very good but I do wish they had a pistachio one! My only thing about the cannoli is I probably would have skipped out on the chocolate sauce. Came in with a group of 11. It's a medium-sized restaurant. Service started off a little slow, but ended up being great. Sean was our waiter and he was very nice and on top of customer service! Our entire party really appreciated his hospitality and friendly service. Pizzas, calzones, and pasta dishes were all very good! I would definitely recommend this pizza place! This is a great place folks!! If you haven't been here, you are missing out. The vibe is a friendly neighborhood feel. As I sat waiting, I noticed a lot of folks coming through that are obviously regulars here. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. Don't let the name fool you, not only do they have the best pizza in Montgomery, the menu is highly varied with several entree salad offerings as well as numerous pasta dishes. My wife had a pizza, and it was decent, but not special. I had their special which was a Philly cheese steak pasta dish. It was very good. The service was pathetic. Too many missteps to begin naming. It was lunch time, so that likely contributed, but not as many mistakes as made by our server. Well, this was a big surprise to me coming to this place. I had wanted to go to a Brewery nearby, but it was closed, and I got invited by my vendor group to grab dinner here. It really doesn't look like much from the outside or the inside. I was expecting just another typical pizza joint, and didn't have hopes of anything special being in Montgomery (no offense Montgomery). Seriously, looks like a pizza dive. The reason for my high rating is the draft beer selection. Flat out amazing. Kudos Alabama, you got some good craft brews locally that would make your mama proud (or daddy). Straight to Ale was really darn good and I'd say a superior Stout. My other option, the Kentucky Barrel Vanilla Cream Ale was also good. Quite a few options for beer lovers, and just amazed that a pizza joint KNOWS what to serve up with pizza. I shared the 5 cheese pizza with a few others. It was really good. Not the best I've had but certainly a big step above Papa Johns. Pricing was equally nice here, and our waitress was really on top of things. Cute ambiance, gives the home-y vibe & smell that when you walk in you just know the foods gonna be good. I've been here twice not and consider it a pretty good Italian place. The first time I ordered one of their signature pizzas which was very good. The second time I ordered the creamy pesto pasta with roasted chicken. This was also a good dish, but it seemed that they simply added cream to pesto. To me this just diluted the normal pesto flavor and needed a little something extra to bring some of that back. Otherwise the pasta was cooked perfectly and the roasted chicken had much more flavor than expected with somewhat of a lemony flavor. Service both times was good and there wasn't a wait either time although I haven't been at any high traffic times. read more

Americana Pizza and Italian Salad were very good. But it took FOREVER to get our food (even though the place was not close to packed), and the waitress was horrible. We never saw her again after she brought out the food until she brought our checks. Then she took twenty minutes trying to get them straightened out. She overcharged two of us $4 for the lunch combination pizza slice/salad, but we didn't catch it until after we left and the other person with us showed us their ticket. In Montgomery, located in the Zelda Road Plaza on the back side sort of behind Publix but take the road that runs by Zoe's. They have a second location in Prattville called MPK that is equally enjoyable. I've been to both several times and they never disappoint! The chef's recipes are AMAZING, a true artist of Italian cuisine and something for everyone from salads, sandwiches, , calzones, stromboli, lasagna, spaghetti, cannolis...oh, and of course pizza!!! I'm sure I've left something out but my point is you must try at least once and you'll be as hooked as we are! This is not like "chain" Italian restaurants; this is the real deal! read more

I came here last weekend with some friends and ordered the cheese ravioli with meat sauce. The sodium in the meat sauce was way too overwhelming to me, so I was only able to eat the ravioli and none of the leftover sauce. However, my friends ordered pizza and the al limone, and they said those food items were really good. If I come back here, I'll have to try the pizza for myself and update my review.
