Burger & Fries and 6 Buffalo Wings

Cool and quick location for taproom/American food in downtown Montgomery by the Biscuits baseball stadium. They have self serve beer (and wine) taps. Food is primarily burgers, sandwiches, apps, and wings. Food is a little pricey. Order at the counter.

Daisy Duke 5/10

Came here during the week as a party of four, we ordered the Daisy Duke, Rugrats gone wild, and chicken bacon ranch fries. We were seated super quick as it is seat yourself. The staff was helpful at the counter when ordering. The ambience was kind of dead, but was a tap room. The service was standard. The Daisy Duke was so oily and not very spicy. The Rugrats gone wild, was probably made in old oil and the dish was burnt, lifeless pieces of pickles. The chicken bacon ranch fries was substandard. Despite the 4.2 stars with 70 reviews, this place just didn't do it for me at all. I would only come here for a brew.

Love this place. After visiting Alabama two years ago, I don't remember this being here. I googled where I could get a burger at an affordable price. It was in a great area with other options, but the reviews looked great. This was a laidback tap house that had a lounge downstairs. There was janga and other games for socialising. So many options for beer that it made it easy to find a cider. They had three. Service was quick and the waitress was very nice of explaining what was going on. Kitchen service was quick. Quiet and laidback . 10/10

Multiple taps

Great service from the female bartender. Dint try the food but it looked good. Wide selection of brew; some expensive and some are affordably priced.

This place is awesome! They have a couple large tables for groups of 8ish people. The concept here is you open a tab with a card and then you can choose from which beers you want. You scan your card, and fill your cup. At the end, you pay for how many ounces you drank. They do 50% off domestic beers on Thursday nights and trivia on Tuesday nights! I ordered the Daisy Duke chicken sandwich and it was cooked perfectly and soooo good. Tater tots as a side come separately but were also crispy and good! Located downtown - next to the Alley!

I love the concept of this place with the pour it yourself tap wall. It's also a really great selection full of every style of beer and cider, even a couple cocktail options. I got the Barney Fife hamburger and added cheese with a side of fries. Burger was on the smaller side but very good. Fries were crinkle cut and super hot and tasty. Loved everything about this place and will be coming back anytime I'm in Montgomery. Convenient location across from the ballpark.

Wow so delish at Tower Taproom. It's located by Riverwalk Park and the Biscuits Stadium. Parking is metered and you pay via the app. The service was great. Food was 10/10. We aren't huge fans of the weighted pour style but it was fine to try some stuff. High ceilings with interesting architecture. A delicious place and recommended!

Burger and tots were above average for bar food but far from a Michelin star! The beer selection is robust and you pay by the ounce which allows you to try multiple varieties. In reality, it's pretty expensive with some beers costing upwards of $13 pre-tax for a pint and Busch light even cost $4.50 a draft...it's gimmicky so be prepared to pay to play. There really was not a lot of service as everything was serve yourself including picking up your order, pouring your own beers and putting your dirty dishes and plates in marked locations. At checkout I got the iPad tip prompt which started at 20% which was laughable, but I like so many others have tip fatigue, and with no real service opted for selecting my own amount. The place and concept is pretty awesome but factoring in the service and cost I simply could not justify anything above 3 stars.

Honestly, I have to say that I'm not impressed. I've been to places like this before and they all seem to be the same. Some have less beer but better food, and others have more beer with mediocre food. For this place, overall, two stars for the food, four stars for the beer selection, and three stars for the concept. The establishment is huge. There is plenty of seating, so you never have to worry about not getting a table. For instance, on a Saturday night around 7:30, the place had maybe eight people, including my friend and me. Let's talk about the food. If you read my reviews, you know I loathe a la carte menus. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the only reason a restaurant should ever be an a la carte restaurant is if they are serving some straight-up Gordon Ramsey food. This place was not, yet they still went with the a la carte option. Therefore, I paid for a soggy brisket sandwich ($12.00) and stale crinkle-cut, pre-frozen french fries ($4.00); even worse, the number of fries they provided was dismal. Now, that's not to say that the rest of the menu is meh. The burgers looked good and they have wraps as well as other items if you're not into burgers, bbq, or wraps. The beer selection is what kept this place in the three-star range for me. They have it all from IPAs to stouts and from wines to sours. I like the concept of pouring your own beer. Therefore, if you want a whole glass, that's ok; if you want just a taste, that's ok too. I honestly did like the beer selection. In the end, I would go again, if nothing more than to try a burger. However, I'm not getting the $4 sampler of fries. If you go just remember that the menu is a la carte and the beer selection is very diverse.

Well this was a fun and possibly dangerous place. I love the pour your own beer concept. Very simply, you get a card, grab a glass and head to the beer wall. Each screen tells you about the beer and if you only want one ounce to taste then that's all you pay for. I had a burger and fries, average but good. This would be a great place to go hang out with friends.

The awesome self serve draft beer wall had a great selection!

Good ambiance if you want a beer or cocktail. The food was bad! Undercooked onion rings. Poorly flavored burgers and the fries were soggy.

Good place to eat. Friendly staff, willing to bend over backwards for customer's needs. The beer wall is kinda cool too.

The variety is fantastic and the food is diverse and delicious. My only complaint is the kitchen doesn't open at the same time as the bar.

This place definitely deserves its 5 stars…read more Our server Lyle was very polite and took her time to find out the specials and review the menu with us. When we asked about drinks she brought over the bartender Josh, who was just as awesome! He made us a few bartender special beverages and you could taste the passion this man has for the job! Bravo to the staff, if we lived locally this would be a spot we would frequently regular at! The inside of the restaurant felt very grounded and well put together, and the patio looked just as cozy! We were recommended the Caesar salad from a server we ran into outside the restaurant which is what brought us into the restaurant. They make an in house dressing which had great flavor notes! The croutons were nice and airy, and the lettuce was perfectly crispy, a great Caesar salad. We ordered the cowboy burger and the steak sandwhich as our entrees with a side of Brussel sprouts and green beans. The burger was fantastic! Great balance of ingredients and a good size burger, very filling. The steak on my sandwich was so tender but it was a bit salty for my taste. My brussel sprouts also felt a little undercooked, but I still believe this restaurant deserves five stars because of the service they provide and the menu they curated

Ya! Ya! Professional administration day…read more.. Enjoyed this noisy spot with our CEO, director, HR director, along WITH other administration staff.. Our server was good she was quite busy.. Fried green tomatoes was ordered for the appetizer... (which i couldn't get to try, allergies')... everyone seemed to have enjoyed them... Everything was great until two of our staff tasted their pineapples that were ontop of their glazed chicken. The fruit didn't taste right so they had to reorder..
