I attended trivia night with some friends at this brewery, and it was a great evening! Parking was simple, with two lots close by to chose from. My group was also able to find places to sit with ease, as the place wasn't packed, but it was definitely a popular event. Based on a recommendation from the person behind the bar, I had the strawberry wheat. It was very refreshing and not overwhelming in the beer flavor (which was great for me). Prices could be considered high, but I think they are fair compared to other breweries I have been to. Trivia itself was a lot of fun. Everyone there was in good spirits, and they made the evening great. My group also ordered pizza from the shop next door, which I will also recommend. Tasty brewery stop for craft-beer lovers like myself. This is a welcome spot for kids, offering games and a nice outdoor space with sidewalk chalk and more. Of course, craft beer is always more enjoyable when you don't have to chase around a toddler but we made the most of it and our daughter enjoyed knocking over the Jenga blocks. I had the Zelda Blonde and the Strawberry beer. Both were very tasty and I'd definitely return. Be warned for those that want to take little ones: there is NOT a changing table in the bathroom. read more

Stopped by Common Bond on a visit to Montgomery Alabama it's the only craft brewery in the downtown area and walking distance from our hotel. We stopped by on a Sunday evening when we arrived in town before dinner we tried a variety of beers - whenever I'm trying out a new brewery I always enjoy a flight so I can cry a variety of beers. I tried the Orbital Cloud IPA, the Belgian Tripel, Ramber Rye Ale and Crema Stout. The bartender was friendly and we enjoyed talking with few other guests at the bar from all over the country. Common Bond is worthy of a stop while you're in Montgomery learning about our American Civil rights history. read more

Truly loved everything about this brewery. It's an excellent stop if you're in Montgomery. Quick walk from the renaissance or embassy suites if you're visiting. There's food next door as well if you're hungry! The Ramber and R&D Cherries were outstanding! Highly recommend this place. read more

Stopped here mid road trip when looking for a place to have a drink. Was able to bring our own food in (didn't get the pizza next door but I wish we did - it looked great). Arriving again at Common Bond Brewers, I just could not help but wonder why it was not just a bit larger to accomodate the crowd of patrons I have seen each time I am there. Well lit with a bar and several tables, it could get a bit tight walking through to other areas. Finger foods and beer go well together. There was not a single brew I tried which I did not enjoy. The tables and floors were nice and tidy. Although most times we went to the bar to order, there were times we would be checked on and the orders brought to us. I truly enjoy the fruits of the labor common bond puts into the crafting of their beer. An excellent place to hang out with friends, enjoy the beer, and support the local economy. read more

I am rating the 6 pack we bought and brought home. It was UNDRINKABLE. I got a mixed pack of the Blonde and the Shandy. We opened one of each and the other four beers got tossed into the trash. I had one glass of the blonde at the brewery and it wasn't bad. Whomever cans for them needs to be fired. I spent $24 on a beer and a six pack and wish I could get a refund for the 6 pack. I like to patron new businesses but this one needs some refinement if it's going to last. read more

This is a very cool find as this was my first stay in Montgomery in numerous drives through the city. It's a very nice brewery, has a minimalist, industrial vibe? Is that a thing? :) Kinda hard to find from the road (Bibb St). The signage is on the side of a beautiful brick building and the entrance is in the corner behind the outdoor patio of Bibb St Pizza. Great new microbrewery downtown. Beers: IPA - Nice hoppy brew with light bitterness. Ramber - The Rye Amber. For the malt mouth. Blonde - Great light brew for those hot Montgomery days. Pale Ale - Good brew for easy drinking. Excellent setup for drinking great beer. Service: On the ball. There's a place at the end on the bar just for walk up orders. Why don't more microbrews do that? There's an outdoor area for dogs. You can bring in some of the Bibb St. pizza from next door if you're hungry. They've got some board games and Jenga. Five stars. Common Bond Brewers are hard to find if you are not familiar with Montgomery. They are in the same building as the Pizzeria at the same address - but the entry to the brewery is hidden and the sign is hard to find from the street. But once you have found the right entrance you enter a small, well designed taproom - industrial style, all very beer-friendly (no other drinks in sight that might distract you). The bar staff is friendly, too - and enthusiastic about their beers. When we visited there were four beers on tap, all well brewed and flawless - starting with a Blond, a smooth, but roasty amber ("RAmber"), an easy drinking Pale Ale and a hoppy IPA that could do with a little more fruity aromas. read more

A nice, cozy brewery by the heart of downtown Montgomery. I enjoyed stopping by here back in March for a concert at the Performing Arts Center. The staff is friendly and I was surprised at how good of selection they have. All the types of beers are up on a display board and show content such as ABV, as well as price, which I liked. The space is a bit small, but that didn't stop me and my wife from enjoying ourselves and finding seating back in a corner near some board games. There is also a pizza restaurant right next door. They will deliver over to the brewery, which is very convenient when you get hungry and don't want to leave. All in all, this place has great potential-I was very impressed and will return if I'm back for another concert! read more

Nice brewery in the heart of downtown Montgomery. It's located in a beautiful brick building with a pizza joint connected to it so you can have some food and some great beer at the same time. Plenty of inside seating but there's a small patio out front with lawn chairs as well. Odd that there's a gate between the two business that says no alcohol beyond this point on both sides, yet they both serve alcohol. Gotta love city red tape. LOL So onto the beer. I just had an IPA since we didn't have long to stay and sip them all, but I thought it was really good. I'm sure the other beers are equally as nice. Stopped by the saturday that they were holding their grand opening, from the minute i arrived til i got through the line to get a beer, the staff were incredibly friendly and eager to answer questions about the brewery that can be seen through windows in the taproom. I didn't do a flight that day, just had a glass of the Blonde, yet i loved it. i plan to come back and bring some friends. Fantastic brewery near the river walk in downtown Montgomery. All of their beers were well made and has distinct flavors. I had 3 in my group and we got a taster of everything. The only thing common this brewery has with its peer competitors is overpriced beer and poor service. Overall this place underdelivers compared to its price point. $7 for a beer + tip? I really love this place and make a point to visit whenever Im in Montgomery. The beer is great. They do a ton of small batch stuff so there's always something new to try. Its a cozy place and not trying to hard. The bartenders are always friendly. Convenient location with a pizzeria next door if you're looking for food.
