The food was good. I'm so happy that the Caribbean Grilled fish was added back to the menu. I also had good service and they had a packed crowd for lunch today which says a lot. read more

Where do I start? Came in on a Sunday evening with my family and this place was a mess from start to finish. Nearly 30-minute wait, then seated at a dirty table that hadn't been cleared from the previous guests. Mid-way through taking our drink order, our server just... walked away. Never came back to finish. Apps came out before drinks. When my kid's Sprite arrived it was carbonated water -- when we flagged a manager, we were told they were out of Sprite. Would've been nice to know that upfront. The water I ordered never came at all. Meals were room temperature. Server never checked back in -- we had to track her down just to pay and leave. Meanwhile I watched a manager in a black polo leaning against the wall while the carpeted floors were visibly dirty. There's a saying about leaning and cleaning for a reason. Four stars on Yelp is genuinely baffling based on this experience. Two stars is generous. Won't be back, and wouldn't send anyone else here either. read more

The server was very attentive and made a lot of suggestions. He told us the specials, the most popular, and what he liked. The hosts were very friendly and nice. The food came out incredibly fast and hot. The food was good for a chain restaurant. The restaurant was pretty busy and decorated with a sports theme. The customers seemed pretty happy. The reason for the 3 was the cleanliness of the establishment. They should take a day and just detail clean everything. read more

Leslie is the best! I observed her as a GM and the employees seem to trust and love her. She runs food and works through all of the day to day functions. She doesn't act higher than thou. She truly loves this company and I enjoy seeing her here and she always greets the regulars as if they are her personal friends. read more

Baumhower's Victory Grille - Writing and spending time here. - Chicken Wings Near Me - Montgomery, Alabama

Undifferentiated sports bar experience. Standard pub grub food at acceptable price to quality. Lots of TVs for sports. Service was impersonal but efficient. Kid friendly. Not a destination but acceptable option in area. read more

I could not give this a good review because they messed everything up. Waited and waited for my drink. My food arrived 45 minutes later. I asked for hot sauce multiple times and nothing. I asked to settle up and the bar tender forgot about me again. Worst service ever. I should just walk out but i don't do that but i don't like being ignored in a restaurant read more

This was a fun road trip stop that felt perfectly timed with the football game on. Really enjoyed the wings--they were the platonic form of a chicken wing...need I say more? Lots of sauce options and combinations. Something for everyone on the menu and friendly staff read more

This was such a good dining experience. We had lunch here after my daughter's graduation from ASU and they were very accommodating for our party of 11. We were seated quickly (even without the entire party being present). Our waitress was amazing, very thorough and attentive! I had wings and sweet potato fries, my husband had the shrimp etoutfee, others had fried chicken salad. The portions were of good size and everyone enjoyed their meal. read more

Lunch spot hit the spot. Stopped at this location in Montgomery. It was cool. Friendly wait staff. The food was cool. I love that they have a menu with lower priced options for those who just don't have the money for larger more costly options. I got the wing deal which was satisfying. I got about 5 wings with fries and a drink for $13. It's a sports bar so there's not much to be said about the ambiance. TVs and sports memorabilia all around. I don't frequent the Mobile location where I live but Baumhower's is definitely a spot for quick bites. read more

Great food and great service. Gerald is the best! Just wish they'd get a separate fryer for those of us with a shellfish allergy.

Wait time is ridiculous, a party of two get pushed back for a full party which is unacceptable. It doesn't matter how many in party u should be seated. read more

First time here. No one to greet me. Just walked to the bar after waiting at the host area. Ordered the wing special. 1 pound and fries. Jamaican jerk extra wet. Came out with no sauce. Sent back. Came back with 2 less wings with some sauce. Was not Jamaican jerk. I told bartender just don't worry about it. Bartender ordered 3 more wings extra wet Jamaican jerk. I just couldn't get what I actually ordered! But glad she did attempt to make it right. I know what I am looking for next time. read more

This place was ridiculous, we had a party of 16 and as soon as we walked in the hist had a problem, then the server didnt refill any drinks all the food was messed up, the manager brought us fried pickles and DROPPED them on the serving platter and scooped them back up in the basket put them on our table like we were about to eat them. Just a bad experience all the way around. read more

Here for a trip with my mom & ate here while on our way south, and Man to say this was delicious would be an understatement. I'm Telling you the food was amazing! My mom had the shrimp salad & loved it, my cheeseburger was awesome & the fries were cooked to perfection with no abundance of salt or excess oil. The waitress was really nice & did a great job! The Inside decor was neat! I highly recommend stopping if you're in the area! You won't be disappointed! read more

Let me just say from the moment you walk in you are greeted with a genuine smile and welcome....The inside is so comfortable and cozy. Menu description "Fried Chicken Wrap" and it says jumbo fried chicken fingers but it came with two small dried out small Nuggets. I was asked how things were and told the manager who simply said I'm sorry. Oh, and there is a black and white something on menu that would have been a better choice. It was dirty going in, the bathroom smelled and paper towel holders empty...this place has gone down hill and my family won't be going back again. read more

Everything was great and I will be back , when I say everyone was nice and polite to me and my son, the food and service was excellent... 10/10 keep up the great work and the young man that served us did an amazing job and made sure our drinks was not empty and asked if our food was good and checked on us to make sure everything was good. read more

When we were in town for our daughter's graduation, we chose Baumhower's after calling the restaurant earlier in the week and being told they could accommodate our large party. Upon arrival at the restaurant, we were told they would not accommodate our party of 14. Regardless of food quality and a good server, our celebration was ruined because we could not celebrate together. If only they had been honest from the beginning, we could have found a more accommodating place. read more

Was in Montgomery one night only and decided to try Baumhower's. The food was perfect. The atmosphere was fun. The server was attentive. From a couple conversations I can tell there are people who care about their community working there. I would recommend giving them some business. read more

Delicious food. Good price. They have THE BEST CHICKEN WINGS AND BROCCOLI. I also love their black and white chicken.

We had a party of 13, including three senior citizens, and were made to wait over an hour with no seating or accommodation. During that time, we watched as smaller parties were seated ahead of us without issue. The manager was dismissive, and showed no concern for the seniors in our group who were forced to stand for an extended period. It became clear that the restaurant simply didn't want to serve large parties and strung us along instead of being honest or respectful. The manager's behavior was rude and unprofessional, and the overall treatment of our group was unacceptable. This establishment operates with poor customer service, questionable management, and little regard for basic hospitality. If I could give zero stars, I would. I strongly advise others--especially large parties or anyone expecting fair treatment--to stay away!!! read more

Ask for Mr. Eric! He's the best waiter i've ever met! The service was incredible!! The food was even better!!

I tried... it's pretty sad when you order a "Gooey Burger" and it come out dry and plain. Granted this was a delivery and I can compare pics from the what it's supposed to look like vs what I got smh. It's also very difficult to get a hold of anyone after calling numerous time and even being hung up on. Either way don't let the pics discourage you maybe they may be better next time. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They are very selective with who they help or attend to. It is very sad. I witnessed it firsthand and the manager couldn't say anything besides sorry I've been to restaurants all around like everybody else but this one in particular needs to be shut down and all staff need to have etiquette courses and customer service courses read more

First, let me start with what I didn't like about this place. I stopped in at about 4 PM and the place wasn't even half full. Add to it a lot of the staff is just standing around doing nothing. But they put you on a waitlist, a waitlist to get seated when they don't even look busy. The only reason I think they do this is like the clubs I used to spend my miss spelt youth in, it's to make the place look busy and popular with people just dying to get in. If you have to generate this kind of illusion, there's something wrong with your place. I had their chili and it wasn't bad but it wasn't anything exceptional. I had their shrimp, étouffée bowl and it was pretty good. I also had something they called fried banana pudding. I found it interesting. Given the games they play to get you seated. It's unlikely I'd go back to this place because the food was just so so. If you're really into sports bar theme places you might've liked it a little more than I did. read more

Food wasn't exceptional but it was good. Had the burger and it was perfectly cooked, but the bun left some to be desired . Fries were a bit soggy. Quick to refill the iced tea. Ambiance was a typical sports bar with lots of screens. Nice, comfortable feel. Wouldn't exactly call it "service with a smile," but nothing to complain about. Not a bad choice if you're looking for a place to watch a few games at once. read more
