This is for the new location on Atlanta Highway... Let me start by saying that I understand that this is opening night at this location. I want to start with the good. The food was HOT when we received it. THAT'S IT!!! We arrived before 7pm. There was a small crowd but nothing that could not be easily handled. Upon our entrance, we were acknowledged by the bartender, Nick. My party of three found a little spot over in the corner. We waited and waited and waited for someone to come to assist us. Finally, our waitress came to get our drink orders. She introduced herself and took our orders. Food was slow to get to us. We never received the condiments that we ordered when we ordered our food. My friend placed another drink order and informed the waitress at that time that she had a to go order as well. Never received the drink. My friend had to go to the bar to order a drink for herself. The bartender, Nick, was very nice and attentive. Even with a full crowd at the bar. We are still waiting on the condiments even though we are finished with our food. My friend was finally able to place a to go order but hasn't received it yet. Prices have increased from the Bell Road location. I won't say that I won't be back. I understand the kinks have to be worked out so I will definitely give them another shot. But they have to improve on the service. It's terrible. read more

Listen! These wings had me licking my fingers! This food was so good my coworkers and I went back for more the next day. OMG! Here's the thing, I love good food and service. Brins had both. You want some real southern hospitality please visit this spot! The wings are absolutely amazing! You can taste the love in the sauce. The owner needs to bottle this magic and sell it. We even wanted to take t-shirts back to Indy but they didn't have any merch. We told all our clients about our experience while we were there which made them want to try them as well. I ate the fried okra like candy. Best okra I've had in years and the wings? They were a NORMAL size!!! My friends know I won't eat wings if they look chemically injected or simply too big. I recently moved back home and I've been asking my friends what's a good wing place to eat at and my potna suggested Brins. Anyways, I've been forcing my mother to try out other places than Zaxbys lol so today we stopped by here and she ordered the fried chicken salad and I ordered 10 wings with fries, half of them hot lemon pepper and the other half were lemiyaki (lemon pepper teriyaki). The wait time wasn't that bad, and the staff are super kind and friendly. My mom really enjoyed her chicken salad and said the chicken had a nice taste to it. My wings weren't none of those baby wings restaurants are serving nowadays, they were full and healthy but not freakishly big. The hot lemon pepper was really good but the lemon pepper teriyaki or lemiyaki was the star of today. Hands down the best lemon pepper teriyaki I've ever had. They have decreased the number of vegan wings that you get but they have let the price remain the same! I found this out because I ordered the vegan wings and I was told this after I had already placed my order. The vegan wings used to come with eight wings now they knocked it down to six and it's still the same price! So unprofessional for me to think I'm paying for 8 wings but only get 6, highly unprofessional and tacky. You don't tell people that after they order. I don't recommend, they are price gauging. Let your menu be an accurate reflection! $13 for 6 fake wings, you've gotta be kidding. Oh and the food took an entire hour. I give 2 stars because the wings were decent. Won't be returning, I'd rather buy vegan wings for less than $7 at the store and season them myself. OH! And you have to buy a side separately. Staff and service was great - I ate at the bar with one of my business partners. It is a cool bar type atmosphere overall. Lots of seafood, burgers and wings on the menu. I made the mistake of ordering a new item... the smoked chicken wings. First of all, it took 50 minutes to get the wings, when they arrived they had this ugly pale grey/yellow color. There was absolutely no taste of smoke, and the wings were nuclear hot (temperature, not spice), which tells me they were put in the microwave. The hot sauce was watery and not hot at all. Bleu Cheese dip was watery and would not adhere to the lava like wings. They just weren't good. Now my guest had regular wings (not smoked), and they looked super. Placed an online order for pickup. First red flag should have been when my confirmation said ready in 30 minutes. After arriving on time to the restaurant, my order is not ready and I'm told I have to wait another 10 minutes. Since the atmosphere in the restaurant is more a club than a restaurant, I elect to wait for my order in my car. I return after waiting 12 minutes to pick up my order and it is still not ready. After waiting again another 5-7 minutes, I'm then told my order is still waiting on fries. At this point it's almost an hour since I placed my order and I tell the server to just cancel it. After leaving the restaurant, I receive a phone call from a young lady who proceeds to tell me they can't cancel my order. She then puts the owner, Andre Brinson, on the phone who is extremely rude and condescending. He literally asks me what I want as if I had asked to speak with him. After explaining about the poor service I received, Mr. Brinson proceeds to tell me that he was NOT going to listen to me belittle his establishment.
