The top two pieces of falafel is topped with their house "hot sauce", which is more or less a house salsa. The wing sauce is honey mustard.

Yeah, I was not at all impressed with my lunchtime meal. But that may be because I got "adventurous" and tried their wings instead of sticking with what was an obvious crowd favorite, their gyro. But in my defense, I saw no pictures or reviews of the wings, so I say I'm doing everyone a favor by providing both. Summary: Overcooked falafel, and wings drizzled - not tossed - with the sauce I picked. I was pretty unimpressed. But their customer service was very good, thus the second star.

Clockwise from top: Lamb Gyro, "fries", & fried green tomatoes

I had such high hopes for this location because I've been to the downtown location and it was great. Unfortunately this location needs some work. The decor is seriously lacking and the air in the women's bathroom wasn't working. It was very hot and stuffy. I ordered a lamb gyro, fries, fried green tomatoes and baklava to go. When I got my food I looked in the bag and was immediately disappointed by the "fries" which were not what I was expecting. Fries are long, thin potatoes. These were small over-fried lumps of potato. And the fried green tomatoes were smooshed into a paper sleeve. Once I got home and actually tasted my food. I found the potatoes to be over crunchy, the Tomatoes to be a mushy mess and the baklava to be rancid, old and dry. The only thing that was ok was the lamb gyro. Skip this location and go to the downtown one.

Not like most Gyro places. If you've been to the Middle East, the Humus and Falafel here tastes just like its straight out of a Jordanian street market. Highly recommend both of those. Don't be turned away by the outside condition of the building. The sign looks like it's out of business. I think they generally took over a closed down building and are slowly building it back up, but it doesn't impact the quality at all. Just outside Maxwell.... like walking distance from gate if you're day drunk at SOS haha

Lamb Gyro with cheese fries. $11.99 (price also included a fountain drink)

The food is very good. Food came out hot, and fresh and tasted yummy. The price on the other hand, more resembles New York Prices rather than Montgomery prices...maybe that's what's implied by the name? IMO 12 dollars for a combo is a little high considering that the service they provide is limited. Long story short, it's delicious but don't expect to get a bargain.

Best gyros in town. Service was super quick and the music played was themed and very tolerable. I'll be back for more!

Owner and food are incredible. Slightly pricey but well worth it. Owner is super personable and generous with portions. Thanks, will be back
