So the last time I tried this was when I came here for a volleyball tournament, and I was looking for something quick to eat in the middle of brakes. At that time, I was not much of a Yelper, so I didn't get a chance to take pictures and post. Today I went back with my husband because we were passing through Montgomery and I was able to take pictures and the food was still as amazing as it was when I first tried it. Again it's a hole in the wall, but great food and very affordable. You get more than what you paid for. The only thing is I wish they had a spicy sauce or something to put in there gyros . The gentleman was very helpful.

Had an overnight in Montgomery and looking for a quick good meal. Disappointed in our food here. I have never had a gyro where tzatziki sauce was not part of the gyro. Very disappointed when we opened our carry out gyro and it was as dry as the dessert. I had the lamb and it had decent flavor but was so dry I could barely get it down. My wife had the chicken gyro and it was too spicy for her. Again no sauce to help with the dryness. We got chicken tenders for the kids. I will give it to them that you can tell it was hand breaded and not frozen chicken tenders.....but that's where it stops. It was sitting in grease when we opened the box and did not look appetizing. Fries were okay. Service - I guess maybe the worker was from NYC. Hard to order over the phone and very little interaction when picking up other than taking the money. Was hoping for a good hole in the wall find, but unfortunately just found the hole in the wall.

Like a real NYC place...this is the whole restaurant!

As much as we wanted to like this place, we just thought it was mediocre at best. The service was lacking: guy taking our order was lukewarm friendly and maybe in New York City that's acceptable, but in the Deep South, a little friendliness goes a long way. Definitely would have helped. We ordered to gyros, a Brooklyn platter, and order of hummus and an order or mozzarella sticks. Came out to a whopping $55. For that much, we should have been wowed. We weren't. The hummus seemed watered down somehow. It was kinda drippy and not much flavor. The chicken was okay, but heavily seasoned and more fatty pieces than I'd have liked. The salad seemed like it had been sitting in the dressing too long. My brother and sister in law said the gyros were just okay. Not sure how this place has so many 5 star reviews, and I wish I could've left one too, but we just were overall disappointed with our experience.

Friendly guy, but food is mediocre. Meats are usually dry; it does hit the spot in satisfying Mediterranean food craving.

Very traditional presentation and I added a chicken breast to it to make it a full meal. The drink was a Camilia Row Tea and it was one of the best drinks I've ever had. It was so good, by the end of the night we were all drinking them! For dessert we all got espresso and tiramisu It was very good. Italian is my favorite food, so I went in with an open mind and was extremely pleased. First, the interior of this establishment was very impressive. It reminded me of a New York/LA vibe in downtown Montgomery. (With much better parking, of course. Lol). The seats were in a part of the restaurant that provided a view consistent with a VIP experience. Our server was extremely helpful, expedient, and thoughtful. From the meatballs, chicken, and Duck Lasagna, there wasn't one morsel that was not, absolutely, succulent. The meatballs were seasoned to their core. The chicken was very tasty and the sauce served with it was perfection. Now, the duck lasagna, that was the show-stealer. I was very interested on how this would taste, but soon found myself abandoning my table manners and diving right in. After dinner, I was given a complimentary dessert, and get this, a card signed by everyone in the restaurant wishing me a happy birthday. Chef's Kiss. As if that wasn't enough, I was given a complimentary drink for my birthday at the rooftop bar where I was treated to the best rum punch (bartender's recipe with blackberries) I've ever had in my life. The vibe, scene, and Mississippi Delta blues made for a perfect birthday outing! I will be going back as soon as I'm back in the city.

When we asked about drinks she brought over the bartender Josh, who was just as awesome! He made us a few bartender special beverages and you could taste the passion this man has for the job! Bravo to the staff, if we lived locally this would be a spot we would frequently regular at! The inside of the restaurant felt very grounded and well put together, and the patio looked just as cozy! We were recommended the Caesar salad from a server we ran into outside the restaurant which is what brought us into the restaurant. They make an in house dressing which had great flavor notes! The croutons were nice and airy, and the lettuce was perfectly crispy, a great Caesar salad. We ordered the cowboy burger and the steak sandwhich as our entrees with a side of Brussel sprouts and green beans. The burger was fantastic! Great balance of ingredients and a good size burger, very filling. The steak on my sandwich was so tender but it was a bit salty for my taste. My brussel sprouts also felt a little undercooked, but I still believe this restaurant deserves five stars because of the service they provide and the menu they curated

I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and a plate of char-grilled hot wings. The sandwich was the highlight for me. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, with a nice char on the outside that gave it great flavor without being dry. The bun was fresh and held everything together without falling apart halfway through (which I always appreciate). It felt like a well-balanced, thoughtfully made sandwich rather than something rushed. The char-grilled hot wings were flavorful with a smoky finish from the grill. They had a good kick -- not overwhelmingly spicy, but enough heat to keep things interesting. A couple of them were slightly on the smaller side, but the taste definitely made up for it. The atmosphere was relaxed and lively without being too loud. Service was friendly and attentive, though we did wait a bit longer than expected for our food during a busy stretch. Nothing dramatic, just noticeable. Overall, it's a place I'd happily return to -- good food, good vibe, and consistent quality. A strong 4 stars from me.

There was a hint of sweetness that we got from the cognac and cream! The Sunday gravy component was amazing. I wish that we could have taken a jar of it with us. My husband asked today if I thought we maybe able to duplicate. We maybe able to get close but I double if we could duplicate.
