I ordered a pizza for 3rd time in 3 weeks. Meat lovers however there wasn't any meat. Went to store was addressed very unprofessionally the clerk was laughing and wanted to fight when I said it is not funny. Then while I was still in the store the clerk's mom entered the store and berated me for 30 minutes at my truck outside the store. She would not stop until I informed her and demonstrated seating in my truck the motions that he made toward me wanting to initiate a fight. All I wanted was to get a pizza correctly, I didn't accomplish that and nearly ended up in a fight but what took the cake was getting told off by mama bear. I just have to give props where it's due...I always order a thin crust garden from this location and customize my toppings and it's always really good which is why I order once or twice a month, but whoever made my pizza today knocked it out the park! I audibly gasped when I opened the box, it's just beautiful! And it tastes just as good as it looks, so dang fresh and flavorful. So we've had Macro's three weeks in a row now. It's absolutely the family's first pick for pizza delivery. They offer two types of pizza crust, thin-crust and classic, which are both delicious but I prefer the thin-crust. The toppings all taste very fresh. I was driving home from Atlanta to New Orleans in a pouring rainstorm practically falling asleep as I was driving when I realized what I needed-- pizza! I found this place on yelp and it was only a few minutes off of the interstate so I went and was pleasantly surprised. I was debating between the thin crust and the hand-tossed and ultimately decided on the latter. It was the right amount of cheese and sauce and the crust was nice and not too dense. Great flavor, but I am taking a star away because they did not have oregano to add to the pizza when I asked for it. I don't know if this is a southern thing, but people always stare at me like I have 2 heads when I ask for oregano! I did not want to cook dinner tonight so we decided to order online. My husband and I ordered 2 small pizzas and the website was user friendly and they got the order perfect. The promised divert time was 5:50PM and it was delivered at 5:45PM. I ordered the pepperoni magnifico thin crust with black olives and light jalapeños. My husband ordered the chicken florentine with no red onions and both came as ordered. We paid with credit card over the Internet and tipped when he got here but you could tip online as well. Awful. While delivery was quick the pizza was awful. We got a plain cheese pizza. There was almost no sauce, and the crust in body of the pizza was almost nonexistent. When you would pick up a slice the cheese and crust would separate and the crust hung down like wet paper. Never again read more

Where do I even begin? I just hate this place. It used to be amazing but then they got all new staff which took it straight to the trash. Every time, that's not an exaggeration, every single time we call for delivery the same stupid girl answers and before we can say anything she rudely says "Hold"....... uh. No! She places everyone on hold! No matter what! We ended up having to drive to the location just to find another couple there complaining about the same girl! And one time, we placed an order on the rare occasion we weren't placed on hold and we waited for over an hour just to find that they closed before delivering our pizza! We paid for it over the phone and everything but never received the pizza! Did we get our money back? Nope. Just take your business somewhere else or buy a frozen pizza. Wow, great thin crust pizza. Found out about Marcos by accident- it was a great find. You can order your food on line and it's at your house in 15 minutes. Never more than 30 minutes. In addition to Pizza, they have a nice selection of Hot Italian Sandwiches on their menu too. read more

I have enjoyed Marcos Pizza many times in various locations and this is the first time I can say this was the most disappointing experience I have ever had with this chain. First a positive, there was a generous helping of toppings, but it went down from there. A flavorless dough and pizza sauce was the base for the toppings and cheese, so the whole pizza tasted bland. There was no enticing pizza aroma, no spice, no flavor, but at a gourmet pizza price that left a weird aftertaste. Marcos, you have some quality control work and retraining to do. read more

So it's sad because this was a good pizza. However, it was delivered 15 minutes later than what the "promised" time was and nobody offered a discount for that. Secondly, it wasn't hot. Thirdly, it was delivered to my hotel but they didn't bring any napkins, utensils or anything. Seems that would be automatic to me if delivering to a hotel. And last, the 2 dressings that I spent money on were out of date! So, guessing if you were dining in, probably would be great since the pizza had a good taste. Searching for Marcos Pizza on Google put it on the Northeast corner. Got an ad in the free Wed East Montgomery paper and decided to try Marcos pizza. Glad I did. Flavor is excellent, not like the other chains cardboard pizzas. Will definitely go back!! read more

I called thinking this was the newly built location and it's listed online on Taylor road and Atlanta hgwy, but the location I got was Taylor and Vaughn road. The associate who picked up began having a side bar conversation and didn't seem pleasant when speaking to me. I told her I was trying to reach the new location. She transferred me, I was on hold ten minutes and no one picked up. I hung up and called her back and she picked up again. I explained what happened. She snapped back and said yes I DID try transferring you and I will do it again. I asked her for the phone number. She gave it. I said thank you. She hung up, no transferring me out whereas I only wanted the number in case we got disconnected. Very rude young lady. This order was for a teammate. I considered suggesting to her to switch to Papa John's, but when I finally got the other location, the gentleman redeemed the customer service. was prepared for disappointing carryout pizza but ... we thought it was good. we ordered crispy crust deluxe and meat lover pizza on line. it was ready when we got there to pick it up and by the time we drove home (about 10 min) I really expected it would soggy. I'm so glad Marco's opened up in Montgomery. At first I was a little skeptical about this place (had never heard of it). But now I'm a loyal customer. It's franchise pizza, but in my humble opinion, much better than the other Big 3. I can't speak about any other Marco's establishment, but the one in town (off Taylor Road) is very well run. We placed an order around 8pm. We were told that it would be about a 45 min wait....after 1.5 hrs, we called to see what had happened and were told that they only had one driver for the night and she was walking out the door with the order at that time. After another 1+ hrs, we called back and were told that since it had been more than 2.5 hrs that we would receive the order in less than 30 min and there would be no charge...after closing time for the restaurant, I had to go out and get some food from the local convenience food. My husband is diabetic and we had not eaten all day...we explained that to them on the 3rd call and were promised food (within 30 min). They never bothered to call and continued to lie to us about getting food until the other places had closed. I've never been so blatantly lied to by a business. I would not recommend this resturant to anyone passing through here. I think they thought since we were in a hotel that we didn't matter to them but it caused us not to be able to eat after spending the day driving and that was explained to them that we had not had anything to eat all day since we'd been on the road. Had the pizza the last time that I was in town and it was fantastic. Tonight tried to order again. Forty minutes after placing my order online (and them charging my credit card) I got a call saying that the system was down and that even though they had my money and my food, they could not deliver it. No apology or anything either. Then the woman (who I later found out was the manager named Jasmine) told me that she would call me back. An hour and ten minutes (and STARVING) later I call back only to get Jasmine back on the phone. I ask her what is going on and why I can't get my food even though she has my money and she rudely tells me that she is refunding my money right now (why that wasn't done an hour and ten minutes ago, I can't tell you). I told her that I wanted to speak to the owner since this could and should have been handled much better. She told me to call back tomorrow and hung up on me. I will be calling back tomorrow to let them know just how badly this was all handled, but sadly I won't be calling back to order pizza again. read more
