This is a typical Montgomery restaurant in that it is in a strip mall. Mighty things, however, come in little packages. The restaurant was not too full a little after lunchtime and I was seated immediately. I ordered the four shrimp wrap appetizer, and the pad woon sen. The shrimp wrap appetizer was very hot and the sauce was very tasty. For fairly good size shrimp wrapped in an eggroll wrapper and deep fried. They did come tail on. The pad woon sen was very good. The glass noodles perfectly complemented the fresh vegetables. It was very tasty and obviously fresh made. The waitress was very accommodating and checked on me a number of times always asked if I needed anything else. The service here was excellent. I was promptly greeted and seated. My waitress was on top of her game. The place is quaint with lots of unique decor. It was clean and appealing. The drunken noodles were my victim of choice. Along side I had a Thai iced tea. The drunken noodles were bland to me. There was no spice at all and I was expecting there to be plenty of spice. Noodles used to be a 5 star for me. I always loved their flavors and the pad Thai is the best. My last visit the pad Thai was not on par as before. Last night's curry dish was way too spicy and I asked for mild. It is advertised that you can ask them to prepare it mild to hot, but it was obvious it's all made ahead. I was coughing while eating and I told her it was too spicy. She did offer a tea to help, but otherwise I was on my own. The biggest issue is scant amount of meat on their dishes. VERY SCANT! Everything was flavorful. You can adjust the heat level for your noodles. I got it as is, but would turn it up a few notches because I didn't detect a true spice level. My medium hot Shrimp Tom Yum Soup was NO SPICY AT ALL....I was too hungry to complain or wait for another delivery or refund. And furthermore, my food was in front of other address. When I called the store after over-waiting about 40 minute, she said I gotta call delivery man and figure out what is going on. And she had the number and asked me if im ready to take it down. Which I felt odd. If I were the owner of the restaurant, I would have called delivery man to let my customer know. Because clearly customer waited almost 1 hr and 30 mint Tried twice for another try after getting wrong food last night. But i think Im done ordering delivery from here. BLUF: Pretty average Thai food. The service was good, everyone was friendly. Food came out quickly. Asked for a dinner portion of pad Thai and have to hope that I got the lunch size. I commonly only eat half of a dinner portion, but easily consumed the entire plate of pad Thai. Because of this, the value seems a little off (ie a little pricey for the amount of food, not far off mind you but a little off) The food tasted fine, the pad Thai could have used a little more chicken and definitely more peanut. The sauce was pretty good, not so sugary. The medium spicy was nothing but they have chili oil at the table so it was a non-issue. I wouldn't avoid this place but wouldn't go out of my way to come back either. If your close by and want Thai it's fine. read more

Pad Thai was super sweet almost like it was mostly hoisin sauce and tasted a bit scorched. The egg drop soup tasted burnt as well. The spring roll was okay.
