I've been looking for a good Thai/Chinese in Wetumpka and had so far been disappointed. This place is the answer. I got the sesame chicken and we shared a volcano roll. Everything was great! Definitely plan on leftovers because the portions are huge! The volcano roll was the best thing I had, but the sesame chicken was good too. If you're not a fan of sweet sesame chicken then I'd recommend something else though. The restaurant is very clean and has nice decor. The servers were all very nice. I 100% recommend and will be coming back regularly! read more

This is not Thai food. Its good American Chinese restaurant. Good deals and a good variety. Everything we had was tasty and on par with an old fashioned Chinese restaurant. Service was fast and friendly. read more

Very good food along with fast service. This is a must stop place for sure along with the oriental decor

A good dine in Thai restaurant in Wetumka. Best Hot and Sour soup in town. great fried rice.

Yummy Thai is our go to spot when we're craving Thai food. They never seemed to disappoint with the pad Thai or anything that we order my boys love getting their sushi and the staff is always friendly from the outside. You really don't think it's that big of a restaurant however they have additional seating inside the restaurant. Overall, it seems a little dated however don't let that stop you. The food is amazing. read more

They have really stepped up their game with the sushi! They are much larger rolls now and really great!! They also updated their dining room and it's a lot nicer and roomier- we went with a group of 12 and it was perfect. The chef specials on the menu are delicious and you can't go wrong with any of them but my favorites are the pineapple fried rice and the basil shrimp- packed with flavor and SO good!! The service is also always great! read more

Ordered cashew chicken and fried rice. Very good taste but skimpy on the cashews. The amount of food is large per serving . Inside is plain but seems clean. Good value for the price . read more

hands down the best sushi Ive had since I lived in Washington State (IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW) 10/10 would recommend

Food is wonderful. Service is also great. I do wish they could at least serve wine. Otherwise I really like it there. I have difficulty walking and when I have really difficult days, they are extra helpful. read more

The food is always consistently good and the portions are very generous. Large seating area.

I love thai and this is the best around. My "go to " asian cuisine. Give it a try, I think you will agree.

This was a very odd Thai restaurant. When we walked in, the very friendly young man informed us we would order at the register and if we wanted to dine in, all food was served in to-go containers. So we ordered and were then told to go to another area (behind the wall) to sit to eat (we had sat in the front not realizing there was another area). As we walked into the other room, there is a sign stating "no refills"... Ok... My friend ordered spring rolls (she loved) and pineapple fried rice (she couldn't eat due to the texture of the chicken - it was strange) I ordered the summer roll - awful!! Mainly lettuce - look at the pic - and no rice noodle!?! I threw them away. I also ordered the black pepper chicken. While this did not taste anything like other Thai black pepper chicken I've had (bell peppers??), it was still flavorful. Overall, it was a 2.5 but the friendly young man, spring rolls, and spicy chicken dish (once I took out the bell pepper) rounds it up to a three read more

We have been going to Yummy Thai in Wetumpka, Al and am never disappointed. The customer service is amazing and the food even better. Their Incredible Roll is one of the best rolls I have had. If you're looking here you've probably already figured out this is more of a take-out place than a dine-in restaurant. Do yourself a favor and call ahead--our order of pad Thai and red curry shrimp was ready in 15 minutes--and drive to a nearby park to enjoy your meal outside. My curry was hot in both temperature and spice (Alabama hot, not Thai hot). The food tasted great and was very fairly priced. read more

Ordered pad Thai. What a damn disaster. Why did you start using egg noodles in your Pad Thai? Flat dried rice noodles or thin rice noodles is what I have received in the past (at this location as well as others). It was a complete disappointment- shame on you for screwing people on to-go orders. read more

Great surprise! We recently moved to the area and were hoping to find a good Asian cuisine restaurant. Passed by on 231 and saw the sign for restaurant and decided to give it a try. The three dishes and spring rolls we had were the excellent. We had the Pad Thai, spicy chicken and spicy shrimp. The price was reasonable and the food was excellent. Great take out service and cordial staff. We will definitely need back. read more

The food has always been delicious wether it's take out or dine in my family always enjoys it

Awesome food and for a great price. Really enjoyed the food but still had enough leftover to bring home! First time I've ever had Pad Thai and if you haven't had it yet either, quit wasting time and get it already! read more

Was in the Army and stationed in Hawaii for 6 years where Thai restaurants are everywhere. Got out of the military, moved back to Alabama, and just discovered this place 2 weeks ago after looking for a good Thai restaurant for over a year. Their red curry with rice is the best Ive tried, even out of all the Hawaii spots. They are also back open for dine in! 5 stars, would definitely recommend! read more

This is NOT Thai food, if I could give zero stars...I would. The menu has "Thai", "Chinese" and "Sushi". I ordered Tom Ka Gai and it was inedible, just coconut milk and chicken with a bit of cilantro sprinkled on top. No lemongrass, no galangal, no chili...just coconut milk and chicken. Awful. Sent back. Since the ownership seems to be Chinese I opted not order the "Thai food" and go with the "Chinese" food which was equally abysmal...just sugar...everything is coated in a sugary sauce. I also ordered the fried dumplings which were soggy and greasy, which by the way were the highlight of the meal. Other people in our party ordered Pad Thai...awful. Green Curry...edible but left a lot to be desired. Hey, if this is the sort of crap you like, then by all means but it should be known that this "food" is NOT Thai, nor is it Chinese! If your palate can discern and enjoy other flavors besides sugar then you should seriously consider going someplace else. I will not be wasting any more money on this farce. read more

My new favorite place in Wetumpka! We visited on a Saturday and were seated immediately. We ordered pork dumplings as an appetizer, which was very flavorful. We ordered a volcano roll (fried) and pad thai for entrees. Out of most Thai restaurants in the Montgomery area, this restaurant had the best pad thai dish! Service was friendly also, which is also something harder to come by. read more

The rice & chicken soup was a nice touch and really good. Service was good and fast. Had the shrimp hibachi and it was good. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the sushi. The tuna roll didn't taste like tuna at all, not sure if it was old tuna or maybe some other fish. The shrimp tempura roll was okay but the sauces on it were too overpowering - didn't really taste like shrimp tempura. They do like to go heavy on the sauces! Presentation of food is nice! read more

Yummy Thai Restaurant - Sushi - too much sauce on rolls. - Thai Near Me - Wetumpka, Alabama

For being a small town sushi restaurant, they have fast service, good manners, and a clean, quiet dining space. As a local and sushi fanatic, I've been coming here every month or so for the last year to satisfy my cravings. Their pricing is pretty cheap and is a good place for a quick bite. My only complaint is the quality of their sushi. In recent visits, their rice has been sticky and hard to chew and they always put way too much cucumber. I had one order I needed to send back because it was simply too difficult to chew but overall, everything else on the menu is fantastic. It's a hit and miss with the sushi but everything else is good. Below is a picture of their California roll I had today. read more

It's definitely NOT Thai food. It's way too sweet. I've been a few times and it's hit or miss when it comes to getting my order right. It's at best a mediocre Chinese restaurant. read more

We were in town for a quick business trip and needed a bite to eat. We didn't find too many options opening 7pm or later, and the reviews looked great for this place. Yummy Thai didn't disappoint. We had a variety of options and were well fed. read more

We dined here on a Saturday for lunch. The prices were reasonable and the service was standard. We started with the cheese wontons. They were so warm and yummy. We both had the lunch red chicken curry and really enjoyed it. It was a good portion for lunch, with plenty of heat! The perfect amount of heat and savory for a red curry. It came with a side of soup, which I didn't need eat. It was just okay. The restaurant itself was very hot, and we both would have enjoyed the experience more had the AC been at a (much) lower temp. We would go back to try the sushi and other dishes. Welcome to Wetumpka. read more

Amazing! Thai is my favorite and I've been to Thailand and can say the flavors here are among the best I've had in the states! Since having it I've been dreaming of their Basil Chicken! It's so delicious!! Also their Green Curry has such good rich flavor. The Tom Yum soup and fried rice has lots of flavor too. My mom got the Pad Thai and really enjoyed it. She said the owners were really nice and the place looked very clean when she picked up the food. I can't wait to come here again to try new things when I'm back in town because I'm super grateful to have such a great Thai restaurant in Wetumpka and want to support their business as much as possible! Can't wait to try their sushi too! read more

Very good sushi and extremely polite employees. Sushi is a tad pricey but the quality was worth it.

Yummy Thai is one of the best restaurants I have ever been too. The service is exceptional & the food is even better. I recommend this place to everyone. This place was not at all what I was expecting from this little town. We have not had something this fancy in a while. The servers were very nice, and they have great sushi and fried rice. The meat on the other hand as far as chicken and steak was not that great it kind of tasted a bit fake, for the most part it was very good the last thing I have to say is that when we went we ate in and the service was a bit slow but that could be just because it was on a Sunday afternoon. read more

Lots a good tasting food for a great price. I haven't had the sushi but the pad Thai was fantastic.

A very nice menu with lots of variety. The food my wife & I had was both very good. They are friendly and also willing to make anything vegetarian with tofu for us, so we will definitely be back. My wife had the tofu curry and I had the tofu hibachi. Great place to eat! read more
