Food is ok, hard to understand the staff. It's always hot inside the building. Plan on takeout, it's your best bet.

To be fair I was visiting a rural area and started our search for a Chinese restaurant on yelp. Closest one away was Chinatown, so we gave it a try. The Mongolian beer did not resemble anything like I was used to in the past, had an "old smelly sock" flavor. We ended up dumping it. The fried ride was okay, not use to English peas in mine, general tso chucked was not spicy and the chicken was mushy with large grizzle pieces. The spring rolls were good. Will choose another Soy for future visits to Millbrook. read more

Looks can be very deceiving!! This was my 1st and last time eating at Chinatown Restaurant in Millbrook, AL. The food is disgusting and I'm unsure how the heck this business received a lot of positive reviews!! The rice tasted old and the chicken in the rice is white and gross! The sesame chicken had crunchy pieces in each piece. When I examined the chicken it looks like the end of the wind with the small bone in it. I tasted my sons rice and lemon pepper chicken and his is gross as well. His chicken was so damn greasy and salty af!! I'm so pissed off!! Only in country azz AL!! Soooo decided to checkout this Chinese restaurant because we haven't been to Millbrook yet and the ratings were high. The food was okay....it was neither bad nor great. You get a lot of food for your money and the food comes out quickly; steaming hot. I had a dinner combination with sesame chicken and lo mein instead of rice, a $1 upcharge. Pretty standard Chinese food all things considered, nothing special but can't complain too much for the amount of food. So if you are looking for a substantial amount of food for a low price this is the place. read more

Experience was O.K. Lot of food for your money but low quality. I ordered sesame chicken with lo mein($1 upcharge) including two eggrolls and it was very bland. My partner ordered honey chicken with fried rice which was also bland. Honey chicken was good. Just to piggie back off the other reviews the food came out fast and was hot. Unfortunately while we were there two other ladies were eating and they found metal in their food. The ladies didn't make a big scene. They just told them to pay more attention. Great fast food Chinese! They work with us being vegetarian and make sesame Tofu and other dishes they sub tofu for meat! We used to eat at China King, but they quit subing tofu so we quit going there. Chinatown gives big servings, quick and polite service and good sweet tea for a Chinese fast food. Great location!
