Amy and I stopped by LáTaste - Vietnamese and honestly forgot to take photos because we dove straight into the food. That should tell you everything. The pho is hands-down the best around our area. Rich, flavorful broth, fresh ingredients, and the kind of quality you can immediately tell is made with pride and consistency. You can also tell the owner takes this restaurant very seriously. The attention to detail and care in every dish stands out in a big way. Clean, welcoming atmosphere and genuinely impressive food. We'll absolutely be back hungry again. read more

We are in town to visit the legacy sites and read about this restaurant and I'm so glad we tried it! My husband got the chicken pho and it was a huge serving of perfectly spiced deliciousness. I got the vegan tofu bowl with vermicelli. Everything was so fresh the flavors delicate and just right. The tofu was fried to perfection. If we get back this way, we'll definitely check it out again. read more

We were in town for Christmas and feeling super under the weather. After a family Christmas gathering, we dipped and went to LaTaste for some comfort food. Nothing warms you up like a bowl of pho on a chilly day! We were expecting it to be more American since we were in Alabama, but LaTaste's pho was so flavorful that it totally hit the spot. Their service was fantastic, and the staff was super attentive. We were in and out in just 40 minutes. Definitely glad we stopped by and would recommend. read more

This is legitimately one of the best Vietnamese places I've been to anywhere in the US. The pho broth is substantially more flavorful and complex than my favorite place in Seattle. The rice dishes are fantastic and even the boba is comparable to or better than my favorites on the west coast. It's an absolute must try if you want viet food in the south. read more

Delicious food. Great service and sweet owners. Can't wait to come back! The pho is phenomenal and my husband loved the grilled pork vermicelli (bun) bowl. The peanut sauce with the spring rolls was also delicious! read more

LáTaste is an absolutely wonderful Vietnamese restaurantin Prattville!! A lovely place for dates, and the staff is delightful!!

Nice people working. Quick delivery of food. Tasty and fresh ingredients. Clean dining area. Prices little high but the food is authentic.

My first visit to LáTaste in Prattville. It is a family owned restaurant that feels like home. The service was very prompt and professional. I was seated right away. The waitress was so sweet, welcoming, and helpful. The food was very good. I got the egg rolls and 3 meat Pho and Thai Tea. I will be returning! Thank you for the great service and food! read more

Traveling through and looking for a unique experience for dinner. Found this place and yes it might be on the pricey side it's worth every penny. The food is made with love and they are willing to teach you how to eat Pho properly. read more

This is my 3rd time because I wanted tone sure I was being fair with my previous rating and review. The portions do not match the price at all. Very expensive for what you get. My total for both was 42.64 which wouldn't be a problem if it was actually the dinner portion, this is a lunch portion at best but definitely not dinner. This review is not about the taste because it is good my issue however is with the price when considering the portions. read more

Best food place ever its a long wait but its definitely worth the wait. great food, great decor, and amazing pho. would come here again.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I really tried to give this restaurant a fair chance. I just moved to the area and was excited to find a new pho spot--since I absolutely love pho. First visit: I went for lunch with my 5-year-old daughter, who also loves pho. When the server (who seemed to be the owner) came to take our order, I politely asked if they had a kids' pho. She immediately responded in a rude tone, saying, "No, this is all we have," while pointing at the menu. She then started explaining that the lunch menu was cheaper than the regular one and even asked, "Do you want me to prove it?" I was taken aback but tried to move past it. My daughter wanted a pineapple boba, but the server said they didn't have that--or about four other flavors listed on the menu. When I asked which ones were available, she just rattled off the ones they didn't have again, in a very impatient tone. At that point, I'd had enough. I told my daughter we were leaving. The woman's attitude was rude, short, and completely unwelcoming. Second visit: Fast forward to yesterday--I wasn't feeling well and wanted pho (it's my go-to comfort food when I'm sick). I ordered takeout online, not realizing it was the same place. When I arrived, a man helped me this time, and while service was fine, the prices were shockingly high: one meat pho, one meatless pho, and one order of spring rolls came to $54. When I got home, I noticed the broth was unusually dark. Still, I gave it a try--only to find it extremely sweet. It tasted like they had added sugar or sauce to stretch the broth. It was completely inedible. Even my daughter wouldn't touch it. I ended up throwing everything away--$54 straight down the drain. Never again. Between the rude service and the terrible, overpriced food, I'll never waste my money here again. Absolutely disappointing. read more

The lemon grass chicken and fresh salad on the side is hands down the best! Quality ingredients!

This might be the best bowl of Pho I've ever had. I've had it many times all over the country and this broth is top notch. The owner is very friendly and fun to talk to. The coffee is very authentic and organically sourced, direct from Vietnam. read more

Rudeness, do not have things on menu . Takes too long to get my food. I do not know why since she hardly had no customers. I went there for lunch and dinner. Gave them two chances, same experience. read more

Really looked forward to going here, but we checked the OLD menu - which was fine. Pho is a few dollars more, however we decided to be adventurous and try the Hue Spicy Noodle for 20 bucks - unpleasantly surprised... I'm usually adventurous and I like trying different foods - I promise this isn't just a white girl complaining. It tasted REALLY fishy....and it's like beef and pork.... Idk Maybe the pho is great, probably should've just gotten that :( On the bright side, it was enough to split for sure... neither of us liked it though Side note; not very spicy so if you're scared don't worry about it (you can add more chilies) Ambience was funny - jazzy disney covers were playing which I enjoyed. read more

LáTaste - Spicy Hue 17. Hue Spice Noodle Soup - Vietnamese Near Me - Prattville, Alabama

We ordered the beef pho and the signature noodle combination, plus egg rolls to start, and everything was honestly a 10/10. The pho broth was rich and comforting, and the beef was super tender. You could tell it had been simmering for hours. The signature noodle combo had great flavor and generous portions, and the egg rolls were crispy and delicious. Service was a little slow, but it is a small mom and pop spot, so it was completely understandable. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere was relaxed and casual. Lovely people and amazing food. Definitely coming back. read more

Theeee best PHO I have had in so long being middle of America. Sweetest family and seriously delicious food. Price point was worth it although a little expensive. I was hungry and with 3 kids so we dug in and devoured the food before I had a chance to photo it. If I pass by again I am for sure stopping by! Worth it all the way! Fresh, flavorful broth. Prefer a little more meat, but I choose brisket maybe should get steak next time. Best Vietnamese coffee and the avacado boba was super tasty and sweet. Thank you and so so good wish you all the success read more

Best Pho in Alabama! The beef Pho both is amazing, so rich and flavorful. They are also very generous with the veggies and condiments. Service is fast and friendly. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Highly recommend!!!!! read more

The worst service ever. The owner/server had the worst attitude ever. It took 45 mins to get our food! Including our appetizers. How did the 2 tables that came in after us get their food at the same time! At the end she threw our bill at the table next to us. No thank you's or anything. No apology for our the slowness. Not even a smile the entire hour we were there. We stopped in our way home from FL thinking it was going to be quick, it was the complete opposite. The portions were tiny and the food was average; definitely not worth the price even if the service was good or average. read more

Finally some Flavor! My friend and I went to La Taste this Wednesday for dinner. So far, it's been our favorite meal since arriving to Alabama. We ordered the spring rolls, egg rolls, and the grilled pork noodles. The spring rolls were delicious. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the peanut dipping sauce was great. The egg rolls with nuoc cham came out hot and crispy with fresh lettuce and mint. The rice noodle bowls had a lot of flavor and it was a generous portion. This restaurant is a small family owned restaurant and the co-owner that we met was so friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for some fresh, flavorful, herbaceous food. read more

Very good Vietnamese food, although not cheap. Service can be hit and miss, as sometimes the server is gruff and overly curt. Otherwise, delicious food at an OK price in a good surrounding. read more

The food itself is good and people are nice overall, but the prices and length of time between ordering and receiving food is insane. $8 for a boba tea? $7.50 for two egg rolls? I'm going to wait 30 minutes from ordering for my food with one other couple in the entire restaurant? Thought it was perhaps an off day so tried again a few days later but same experience both times. Enjoyed the food but will go elsewhere for a faster, less expensive experience. read more

I wanted to like this place so bad because it's rare to fine a Vietnamese place in Alabama... but the food is not it. I got my food to go so maybe it's better in person but the service was not nice. I support small businesses but I think they just need to fix some of their ingredients. read more

The best Vietnamese pho I have had in a long time. Go easy on the Thai chilies as they are spicy. But the beef broth is perfect. The shrimp roll and peanut sauce is perfect. Came in a little after they opened. There were already 2 other customers seated. There's a sign stating to please wait to be seated. Waited a few minutes and no one came so decided to find my own seat. Sat for 10 minutes and no one ever came back from the kitchen. Since I had ample amount of time to observe, there are no menus available to look at, I don't even know where the register was. Someone finally came from the back and spoke to the customer that was already sitting, but never looked up to notice we were there and haven't been greeted or offered a menu. Wish I could've given a review about the food. read more

We went back finally after the reopening and had an awesome meal! We were both feeling something besides the usual pho we would get from there, so we ended up trying some new to us meals. I got the caramelized pork belly, while Matt got the Hue spicy noodles. They were both absolutely delicious and I think the pork belly is one of my new favorites! We also got spring rolls and egg rolls. Both were fantastic, but my favorite was the avocado smoothie. Sweet but not too sweet and with crystal Boba, it's a lovely little treat. Service was lovely and quick! The little plants they have everywhere are super cute as well. read more
