Panera Bread is a familiar chain of restaurants for me. While I really have never considered them a good spot for lunch, I'm a frequent visitor to one of their branches in the morning for breakfast. My go-to at a Panera Bread is usually one of their bagels with cream cheese. Growing up in New Jersey, I am an extreme fan of the breakfast wonder of a bagel with cream cheese. Are the bagels at Panera Bread every bit as good as the bagels in the New Jersey and New York area? Not even close. However, to paraphrase Dorothy from the classic movie "The Wizard of Oz," I am not in New Jersey (riffing off of her line "I have a feeling we are not in Kansas.") and if I want a bagel, I have to choose a bagel shop that the area has. Panera Bread does not have terrible bagels, but they're decent enough to satiate the urge for a bagel and a bagel here is significantly better priced can an airplane flight back to New Jersey. This particular Panera Bread also has a drive-thru, which is pretty cool. The staff was friendly and I was in and out in a relatively quick amount of time. Panera Bread does maintain a decent level of consistency throughout their stores and I really have not had an issue ever at any of their locations. Well not the best bagels, they are pretty good and pretty good is the best that I'm going to get outside of New York and New Jersey with the exception of a few isolated bagel shops and there were none around here that I known of so he never bred it was and it did the job. read more

We stopped in about 7pm to order but what caught us off guard was the prices of items. The quality of food was okay the Dragon Fruit wasnt all that and who doesn't have regular cream cheese for Bagels to take home. On new years i bought some macoroni and cheese small and small broccoli and cheese soup paid 17 dollars for it .To my suprise i choke on a object in the mac cheese which cause me to choke and not breathe until my wonderful wife helped me regain my breath and life!! Panera filled out a instant report then not one person called to check on me and i alsi broke my tooth and instead of having it pulled now a surgeon has to put me out and remove it and now after sending all the papers out and spitting up blood and now Panera sent me to adjuster traveles insurance and keep goibg to all these doctors and wzit to the end to pay me for anything and alos a ear nose and throat doctor's and i have nightmares from chocking so please dont eat the mac and cheese irs disgusting, we will never eat there again and there wanting me to send the nasty object that i chocked on and i couldn't breathe . They should pay my expenses now but no they want me to just use all the money i have to pay everything not even knowing if there goibg to pay me for sure !!!! As soon as you come in there is a tablet so you can order directly yourself instead of waiting in line to talk to an employee. At the counter there is another one. We chose to wait a bit to talk to a human. The food is overpriced, but you are paying for the name as you can order, pick-up your own food, and clear your table. The food was ready pretty quickly and you just go up to the counter to pick it up. If you have leftovers you can go back up and pick up wrapping paper and just ask for a sticker so you can wrap it up and take it home. It is a nice location that is clean. read more

The food here is of amazing quality. I recommend the French dipper or the grilled chicken avocado BLT. The service is great in and out in less than 5-8 minutes. The people are just too kind. The Ambiance is just as good as any other Panera bread SAID NO ONE EVER. It is the perfect little place to eat after church on Sunday. 2 thumbs up for this Panera Bread. read more

Typical Panera Bread food. Never had any issues with food order. The price is normally higher than most "fast food" places, but the ingredients and food served is of better quality overall. Drive thru service is at a normal pace and they have always gotten my order correct. I am mainly giving them an outstanding in this area because their workers provided an act of kindness to me when they did not have to. Ambiance is good. I normally go through the drive thru, but they do appear to have a large Sunday crowd. Otherwise, any other day of the week it seems like normal operations. I've been having a Panera moment lately, and I'm happy about that. I've never before been much of a Panera fan, but with limited lighter options for fast food in the Prattville area, Panera has become my go-to for delicious, fresh, good-quality food. It's a chain, so reviewing the food won't be much help, except to say I love the Pick 2 lunch option and the salads. I've never had a less-than-delicious food choice, so credit to the team at this location for making everything so tasty! The staff is also great. Everyone I've encountered has been super friendly, and the service is quick especially considering everything that goes into it. Still, I'm hesitant to hit the drive-thru if I see more than a couple cars in line. It may be fast food, but it's a bit more complicated than your average fast food joint, so it takes longer. Keep that in mind if you stop in. As for me, I'll keep coming back whenever I need a delicious lunch, or to treat my coworkers with some morning bagels. read more

This is one of the easier reviews I could ever do. I've been to this location probably a hundred times. I like the food, I like the speed, but there is a reason I keep coming back beyond food. It's the people. I've been here enough that most of the people know me by name. I've been here enough that the people that train at the Prattville location recognize me when I go to other locations. That's nice being recognized, especially for someone like me that would love to blend into the background and not be noticed. It's kind of neat that people remember me at all. And kudos to the manager and a couple of particular cashiers. This manager has these hard to define qualities that I see with managers where I work that I consider to be good managers. I don't know what it is. I see people try to be leaders but they seem like they're trying way too much. Like they're not natural leaders at all but they're trying and that always turns me off because it seems fake.. being real is the most important thing in life to me and I feel like the manager of the Prattville Panera is real. That makes me comfortable. And when I'm comfortable I keep coming back. Ultimately they don't have to get everything right every time because it seems like home. Weird right? It's just a fast food counter service restaurant. But its done something right over the last few years. Food only being one of those things. But it's important to mention that the food is actually pretty good too. And maybe the best thing about Panera is ordering your food online, going down there and being able to pick it up, already bagged, not even having to speak to anybody and leave. This is what keeps me going to Panera outside of my normal days then I would go to Panera. It is super super convenient and kudos to Panera for whatever system they came up with that makes online ordering and pickup so efficient. read more

Tried them twice & couldn't eat the bread on Toasted Steak & White Cheddar sandwich. The last time it was dried out, tough & too hard to bite into. I scraped the meat off & tried it & it too was dry. It seemed like it had been left under a heat lamp for hours, IDK. My daughter had something else & said she wouldn't eat there again. Don't remember details of my 1st experience except it wasn't worth what I paid. I can't imagine why an eatery would serve bread so dried out, especially when the name leads you to believe that is their specialty. First time I came to Panera for breakfast...it was disappointing. The cashier was rude and kept cutting us off while we were ordering instead of just listening to what we wanted. She got our order wrong, but we didn't feel like taking it back up. We ended up with a plain bagel and two sausage, egg, cheese on brioche. The egg was like a thick, flavorless, cold patty. The staff seems to be more concerned with SJW ideology than actually serving customers. I've never been so coldly treated. This is over the course of 4 visits within this year. When I walked in, the employee blankly stared at me, never said a word. Then as a lady and I are sitting down to wait on our food to-this same employee comes over to check to-go orders. Instead of doing her job she very creepily leans over the woman and starts reading what the woman is typing. As I was about to call her out she walks away, all the while keeping her eyes fixated on this customer. At the same time you've got an obese team manager talking about wearing her booty shorts in December as they fix my food, sit it on the counter and don't say a freaking word. I don't know what it is about young folks, but y'all have lost your minds. Learn how to treat people kindly, do your jobs, and keep your social lives out of the work place. read more

My son and I went to Panera this evening. He got a full Chicken Frontega sandwich and a broccoli cheddar soup. I got the half and half with a steak and white cheddar sandwich and broccoli cheddar soup. Our total was over $28. This is my sandwich- literally 3 or 4 inches long. Love that we have this option in Prattville! We rarely are disappointed with our meals and eat here at least once a week. We order to go, but once in a while will enjoy eating in. We have never had the wrong order when we sit in. Only once have they forgotten to give us our dessert on our take out order, but it's ok. Service is nice and the restaurant is clean. read more

The sandwiches was very good and light also healthy and soup including the piece of baguette on the side to eat by itself or I'll used to dipped in the soup was good and warm. Garden Vegetable Soup bread bowl was very bland tasting. The quantity of soup was very small, about half a cup. The crust on the bread was very tough, suitable for recapping tires. Cheese Danish and Pecan Twist for desert would have been better warmed a bit, shouldn't even consider serving it cold. I went through the drive up this morning in a good mood. I was very polite. Got my bagel and cream cheese, tipped the window person and went on. I ordered a cinnamon crunch bagel, which the top was. I love that Panera Bread has a few vegan options that I can enjoy and taste delicious! My favorite is the power bowl.

Super clean and newer Panera not too far from the interstate while traveling. We stopped with our dog and they had nice outdoor seating with umbrellas. I'd recommend stopping here if you have a dog. The usual varied selections of healthy options and not so healthy, delicious baked goods! read more

I've been coming here since they opened. Great people work there. Good food and drinks too. Been getting the Orange Scones for years. It used to be shaped like a wedge. Now it is a round dollop. So corporate (same company that owns Krispy Kreme) decides to change things and make all of their scones about half the size, but keeping the same price. This location (prattville, Al) was so nice and clean! 100 health score. We went for lunch for my daughters 3rd birthday and the whole establishment was sooo nice to us. The manager, Bruce, was very nice and professional. He even gave my daughter a cookie and 3 dollars. We ate outside and Bruce came and checked on us periodically along with the other guests that were seated outside. The times that I needed to walk back inside to throw things away or get more mayo, Bruce was there with a smiling face ready to help. I've never been to a place as nice and friendly as this. I went thru the drive thru when I visited this Panera location. The service was fast and the employee who took my order was friendly. I love how close this location is to the interstate. Had an hour and a half table wait and this was a far better option in every way. We were so happy we chose it and will return .
