Which is completely understandable. However our experience was honestly terrible. We asked for the classic pizza and a steak and mushroom pizza both with extra cheese. Above is what we were presented. Burnt and barely any cheese at all after a wait of two hours . We were given a 25% discount on our overall ticket but between being checked on minimum by our server.. no I can say the pizza is not worth a visit let alone a two and a half hour wait. I heard a few other people in the restaurant comment to the same. We weren't about to complain though as it was just what we needed with fresh veggies and the Gorgonzola dressing was epic! Upon arriving, and after a little confusion as to how to place an order (due to the coffee shop staff), we ordered a meat lovers.com and a build your own with Alfredo base, bacon and beef. Both were personal sized. After a short week and the owner coming out to give us an update on our order, the pizzas arrived. They looked just as delicious as pictures had showed. They also tasted as good as they looked. The cheese was really cheesing, and had that mozzarella pull you see in movies and magazines. The toppings were fresh and flavorful. Both the red sauce and the Alfredo sauce were measured perfectly. The crust was a star and could easily be a meal by itself...it was just that good. The pizzas should come with a side of red sauce for dipping the crust in. The owner (I think his name is Cedric) came out , chatted with us, discovered we were from Birmingham, and apologized that we didn't get to visit his regular location as they are making some repairs. He was very down to earth and we encouraged him to look into coming to the Birmingham market. We could tell that he put his heart into his work and he has taught that also to his employees. Everyone loved the gorgeous space and food. I especially loved the private bathrooms and seating areas. The staff was very kind. They printed and set up name cards for me before arrival. Communication prior was great. Everything went well and we had a great time. With the added bartender and outside dessert fee, the total was roughly $105/person for 18 people. This included the pimento cheese board, wedge salad, entree, and small dessert. It is a tiny bit pricey for the size of the entrees, but was worth it for the private space, service, and quality.
