The breakfast was delicious--my Mom and I both got breakfast bowls and my Dad got eggs, toast, and hashbrowns. The ambiance was great as well, they even had a small fishtank near where we were seated! As a certified animal lover, I felt this was a very fun touch. We will definitely be returning, perhaps for lunch to try some of their amazing sandwiches!

I have been a loyal customer of Chappy's Deli for decades. I first fell in love with this…read morerestaurant as a teenager and continued supporting it throughout my college years and beyond. Because of that history, it is disappointing to say that my most recent experience left me seriously questioning whether I will continue to patronize this establishment. When placing a large catering order and spending a substantial amount of money, I expected to be treated as a valued customer. Instead, the attitude from management made me feel more like a nuisance than someone supporting their business. Customer service should reflect appreciation for patrons, especially those making significant purchases and returning year after year. The food may still be good, but great food alone does not make for a great customer experience. Respect, professionalism, and gratitude toward customers matter just as much. Long-time customers should never leave feeling as though their business is an inconvenience. It is unfortunate because I have many fond memories associated with Chappy's Deli, but experiences like this make it difficult to justify continuing to spend my hard-earned money where it does not seem to be appreciated.

You could feel the love in the room. We started with the samosas, which were crispy on the outside, perfectly spiced on the inside--classic and comforting. The butter chicken was a standout: rich, velvety, and full of flavor without being too heavy. The lamb chops were tender and juicy, with seasoning that made every bite count. And the garlic naan? Soft, warm, and just the right amount of char and chew. It didn't stand a chance on the table! The service was just as impressive--attentive without hovering, patient with our questions, and genuinely kind. You could tell they care about the experience, not just the transaction. Everything from the food to the service to the setting hit the mark. If you're in the mood for Indian cuisine done right--with heart, soul, and top-tier flavor--this is your spot.

They have a lunch Buffett available for $19.99, but k opted for an entree. I enjoyed the chicken tikka masala - the medium level was not spicy to me at all so if you want spicy, you need to ask for a level up. The garlic naan was soft and delicious. I was most surprised by the prices here. For lunch, this meal came out to $32. The price is what knocks this place down a few stars for me since it is double what I would normally pay for this exact same meal in Birmingham.

For my entree I had the Ragin' Redfish topped with the crawfish cream sauce and the broccoli with a cheese Parmesan...it was so full of flavor in every bite. I also had the Black Cherry Manhattan and it was delicious! Dajah was my waitress for the afternoon and she was great! The ambiance was light for a Monday afternoon! We were seated quickly and given the option of a high top which we accepted. Our waitress arrived quickly and the patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves. The menu provides bar food with a slightly upscale twist. They also have more "fork/spoon" food options as well in addition to desserts. I got a strawberry lemonade that was okay. A little bit on the sour syrupy side. I also got the Bayou Pasta. It came out piping hot which was nice. It has a great amount of sauce on the linguine so that the pasta wasn't left dry. The shrimp were the downfall of this dish. Overall the seasoning was lacking but the shrimp was dry but not overcooked which was odd to me. Seems like they were trying to lean too much on the char of the shrimp without as much as a dash of salt or pepper.
