Brand new to East Chase! Literally opened less than two weeks ago, if you haven't been to a First Watch you owe it to yourself to give it a try! The pancakes and billionaire bacon are top notch, along with just about everything. This location doesn't have their liquor license yet, but once they do, their refreshing cocktails are worth the visit alone! This time I was solo, so I sat at the bar and got great service from the bartender... coffee that you can refill yourself is clutch, as was the warm syrup and water jugs. Swing by and enjoy!

The food was hot and came out in a timely manner. The natural lighting gave a bright and happy atmosphere. And our server made sure we were taken care of. The pomegranate sunrise was AMAZING!

I have been a frequent visitor of this First Watch location since it has opened. The atmosphere is always nice, clean, and decorated very nicely. A good warm, modern chic feel. As for service, there were people waiting to be seated, but the wait is never too long. We were seated right away. I love how nice and courteous the staff is and how they make suggestions on new things to try. I do have a favorite to eat, which is the trifecta with the Belgian waffle. You really get a good amount of food for the money. The Belgian waffle is thick, but airy with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg and topped with powdered sugar. Sweet, but not too sweet. It comes with a meat and eggs that are normally garnished. I also love how the syrup is served to you warm. It really makes a big difference in the experience. My only suggestion would be to include an option for a homemade lemonade, if possible.

L-O-V-E this company! The second location that we have been to and had their million dollar bacon! Surprisingly we got seated quickly despite them being packed. The beverages came out fast and the food quickly followed after. It's so filling we didn't eat a meal the rest of the day. The restaurant is big and has plenty of booths for groups. The staff was great from start to finish!

This is the place for brunch! The place makes me feel fancy with the decor and the vibe. It is more causal though, families were here and friends so it's a nice fancy but comfortable causal place to have some brunch. The service was quick and friendly they offer you coffee and leave the pot in case we'd like more. The coffee and food was great! I enjoyed my waffle with their presence and syrup. Great place to come have some mid day meals and drinks.

Positive: Our server Dray was great, helpful, and a pleasure to have waiting on us. Negatives: Where to start? First of all, I was told that the tea was not sweet and was told that there would not be any sweet tea until their truck came to provide sugar. Next, the first order to hit the table was the million-dollar bacon. The bacon was dark and burnt beyond being edible. Upon receiving our breakfast several things were missing and overcooked. The breakfast bacon was also burned. We sent it back only to receive more burnt bacon. The scrambled eggs were cold, the potatoes were hard and cold as well. The waffle was undercooked and soggy. No care was given to the preparation of the meal today and therefore I am very disappointed in the overall performance of this First Watch location. However, the icing on the cake was the fact that they were segregating everyone. One side of the restaurant had all whites and the other side had blacks. I do not and will not support this type of division in today's society. Therefore after giving this location a second chance, and by them failing worse this time around, I will not be coming back. I recommend everyone go to the Zelda Road location, they are awesome. In closing, I will say that if you do decide to come here ask for Dray because he is an excellent server.

I modified the BLT by removing the bacon and adding grilled chicken; that's a 10/10 as well. Let me just say, with the goat cheese, it was taken to a whole new level, and as you can see with the eggs Benedict no bacon on that, the grilled chicken will definitely be coming back for another 10/10. I was very surprised by this spot. The staff, of course, was busy with the after-church crowd, but they did a great job seating us. I really enjoyed the open space, and it was very well lit with natural light and good lighting in the building.

While here I tried the shrimp and grits, 3 meat omelet, and the chicken and waffle sliders. Hands down the shrimp and grits may be the best I've ever had. I appreciated that the sauce was not oily and they give a good amount of shrimp and conecuh sausage (this specific sausage is the key) for the amount of grits they give you. This may be the best shrimp and grits I've ever had so if you don't know what to order, you can't go wrong with this choice. The 3 meat omelet was bomb as well with plenty of meat inside the omelet with a choice of side. Lastly, the chicken and waffle sliders were also really good. The chicken is crispy and the hot honey sauce it comes with naturally motivates you to dip the chicken into the syrup (thank me later if this didn't cross your mind until now). I can't forget the sweet tea is very sweet and when you ask for a side of lemons, they actually cut a lemon up for you which I appreciate from a sanitary standpoint. In case you were also wondering, they offer military discounts and they will sing happy birthday if you ask (no free dessert but they do have some really good beignets to purchase). The beignets are really soft and go great with the ganauche. The only downside for this restaurant is the service is a bit slow. Both days it took quite a bit of time to be greeted by a server and sometimes they take a while to come by your table. This is a minor fix but if this can be rectified this is easily a 5 star brunch place that the city needed. I recommend this restaurant to anyone considering coming to it and I look forward to coming back to eat here (my mom still talks about the shrimp and grits lol).

This focus should and does translate into good results, but it is a work in progress. I came here with two friends and we were in agreement this is a great place for breakfast and brunch, but also in agreement their coffee and tea game could be stepped up. There are no real hot tea choices and the coffee is a bit on the weak side. There is also no iced tap water, only bottled water to pour over ice. They only charge a buck for the water, but it is a consideration. I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of bacon, which I highly recommend. The grits have a creamy consistency aided with lots of cheese and butter, the latter of which is great for flavor, but could be restrained a bit. You are not here to count the calories. There are a decent number of shrimp atop, with proper Cajun seasoning befitting the eponymously named and New Orleans styled Jazz restaurant. The side of bacon, which came out in a caramelized semicrisp state, complimented the shrimp and added its own savory flavor to put it over the top for me. Jazzy's New Orleans underpinning was consistent in its flavor profile across all our dishes. The Cajun seasoning was evident in the Salmon Croquettes and the Fish and Grits my friends ordered. Everything received positive reviews, save for the pancakes one of my friends ordered on the side, which were considered mildly positive, and the Croquettes, which were a bit too heavily seasoned with the increased sodium content. Prices are reasonable and, after all is said and done, each person will come to about thirty bucks, including the tip, which is automatically charged at fifteen percent. Service was good, but this automatic gratuity charge is a practice I do not like and is reflected in my review rating, but do not let that dissuade you from coming here. 3.5 stars!

You can go down the checklist: Automatic gratuity sign on the front door, the grassy walls, and the steeply priced menu. As a matter of fact, when I looked at the prices at first glance, I almost got up and left because, again, this felt like a 'typical' Atlanta-lite brunch spot when I was visiting Montgomery. However, my experience and thoughts about Jazzy's would begin to shift right there. The waitress was very friendly and patient. I ordered the Big Breakfast with eggs, grits, potatoes and chicken wings. My guest ordered red velvet waffles and a breakfast skillet. It took quite a while, especially for the lack of patrons in the restaurant. However, when the food came, it more than solved and lingering issues I may have been pondering about Jazzy's. The food was amazing!!! The waffles and pancakes were delicious. The eggs and grits took me back to grandma's kitchen table. And the wings??? Come on Jazzy's y'all showed out with the wings. Everything was right on point. Also, I think it's important to note, the size of the portions given will more than make up for any potential pause given by the prices on the menu. If you are in Montgomery and in search of a brunch spot, HIT UP JAZZY'S you will NOT be disappointed.

I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and a plate of char-grilled hot wings. The sandwich was the highlight for me. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, with a nice char on the outside that gave it great flavor without being dry. The bun was fresh and held everything together without falling apart halfway through (which I always appreciate). It felt like a well-balanced, thoughtfully made sandwich rather than something rushed. The char-grilled hot wings were flavorful with a smoky finish from the grill. They had a good kick -- not overwhelmingly spicy, but enough heat to keep things interesting. A couple of them were slightly on the smaller side, but the taste definitely made up for it. The atmosphere was relaxed and lively without being too loud. Service was friendly and attentive, though we did wait a bit longer than expected for our food during a busy stretch.
