The drinks screens are metered so you can see how much the pour will be. I also think there's an in-house limit to prevent you from getting too drunk, but all you would have to do is go back to the register for a reset. I enjoyed the available sour options, some local and some from other areas, and found a couple that I need to find in store! The crowd was light since it was weekday night after a Biscuits game. We watched the remainder of whatever basketball game was on the TVs dispersed around the wall and enjoyed the chill vibes.

This place is clearly well-known and well-loved by locals. There was a line when we got there that persisted pretty much the entire time we sat and ate. That said, the line moved quickly and we got our food in less than ten minutes. Impressive and efficient operation for sure! They have a very simple menu with only a few choices done well. I do really appreciate that you can have your choice of a 4, 6, or 8 oz burger. I ordered a 4 oz burger and my parents ordered an 8 oz to split. You can get burgers alone or in a combo basket with fries and a drink, which is what we opted for. There is a self-service drink and condiment bar that has sauces like ketchup, honey mustard, and ranch or, as it is humorously labeled here, "fat girl ketchup." Lol. The service was friendly and patiently answered our couple of questions. Like I said earlier, food came out very swiftly and was fresh and hot. Everything was good! The burgers have an old timey diner burger feel and are seasoned quite well. I wouldn't say they're the best burgers I've ever had, but certainly they are very solid and worth a stop to try. The fries were very hot and crispy. The fat girl ketchup (aka ranch) was a bit of a disappointment - not super creamy, kind of salad dressing vibe - but that was the only real complaint I had. I saw memorial plaques indicating an upcoming celebration of life for I assume Vicki herself, who evidently passed earlier this year. It seems that she was very well loved. It's nice that her business is clearly so successful. I hope the success continues for the community and her family for years to come!

Mama's Sack Lunches is a small, unassuming luncheonette that also serves breakfast and should not be missed. My wife and I ordered medium breakfast bowls and we could barely finish them! The generous portion size was not the only highlight. I had to compliment them on having the most delicious grits I've ever tasted and walked out telling them that it was the best breakfast I've ever eaten. My wife said the same. It's sad, but the bread of the buffalo chicken sandwich was the best part of the meal. Don't think we'll be back anytime soon. That's sad because we have been eating lunch there at least once a week for years up until several months ago. The inside hasn't been updated in ages.

When i went to answer and say something to her she got up and said she was not gonna talk about it anymore and stormed off. I am 99% sure i will not return. Not because of the mediocre food.
